About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.

This lets me focus on each dog and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe, happy, and at home — and give you complete confidence that they’re being well cared for. ❇️ Boarding - Bookings are available most weekends of the year from Friday evening to Sunday evening. ❇️ Dog walking - I'm available for dog walks most mornings and evenings throughout the year. ❇️ Day Care - I have daytime availability during July and August + winter/spring breaks + all stat/bank holidays. I work for the school district full time September-June. ❇️ I have a fully fenced yard, and space in my home for crates, bowls, and toys. Safety is important to me. About: I've grown up with animals my entire life, from horses to hamsters and I could never live in a house without something furry and cuddly to love. When I was in high school I opted to find my own placement for work experience rather than the schools list as I really wanted to work in a reptile house. It was fantastic and I made great friends with a King snake who I named Karl. I work mainly nights on a pub so have my days free to walk as many pooches as I can. I have my own four legged friend who is in desperate need of another furry buddy so if yours is as playful as she is they will have the best time. We are also available for boarding for one, child friendly pooch at a time as we have a very confident toddler who loves doggy cuddles! I work from home so the pups will have constant access to the back yard. I tend to do a quick walk around the block in the morning to start the day and a really good walk in the afternoon, usually down to the dam or up to Mount Benson. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Both my partner and myself grew up surrounded by animals and consider ourselves a family of 5. The dogs take just as much of a priority as we do. When we go walking, it’s as a 5; camping, as a 5. You get the picture.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child. As soon as I moved out to Canada, I got my own dog. My kids grew up with all kinds of animals in the house, the animals helped make my house a home. I’ve looked after friends and family pets most of my life and occasionally got paid for it. I took semi retirement early to enjoy life more and work less. I don’t consider caring for a pet a job. I work less the 30 hrs a week so lots of time to care for your pets in your home Lots of exercise, stick to the routine already set up by the owner. Lots of patience as the animal gets to know me and plenty of cuddles along the way. I have experience with seizures and epilepsy

I appreciated the time she took to get to know our dog even before the event, in asking us about Bear, about her routine, feeding, bathroom and the commands or words Bear is used to. Barb kept us up to date on their adventures, sent us pictures from the walks in the park. We felt comfortable with leaving Bear in her care from the first contact, phone call and the actual first meeting. I knew Bear would have a great time at Barbs place. About: I have owned and cared for animals my entire life. I have owned my own dogs for the last 17 years. My dogs have always been family members to me and are included in everything I do. I have experience administering medications, supplements and dealing with senior pooches in the past. I have cared for many family, friends and acquaintances pets over the years, including multiple at one time. I currently am at home and available 7 days per week. My husband works full time and is off on weekends. I love to go on daily walks (often multiple) and am always up for weekend adventures at the lake, beach or in the forest with whatever furry friends I have tagging along. I have a fully fenced 1 acre property located in the Alberni Valley, about 15 minutes drive from town. I love walking the many nature trails in our area with my dog. Aside from a daily walk or two, weather dependant, you will typically find us outside on the property, gardening or just relaxing. I understand the importance of meeting the specific needs of certain dog breeds, both physical and mental, as I have a Border Collie who requires a fair amount of stimulation (if ya know, ya know). My home is spacious and well set up for doggies to enjoy both outside and indoors. No couch is off limits for the pups! My girl Millie is very well socialized and loves meeting new doggies of all shapes and sizes. Her many doggie friends will tell you she is very calm and well mannered. I do have free range chickens on our property, but haven’t had any issues with proper introduction and supervision, even with dogs who have never been around them before. I would care for your pup as if it were my own and ensure they had nothing but the best time during their stay! They may not even want to leave!
