About: I have owned and cared for animals my entire life. I have owned my own dogs for the last 17 years. My dogs have always been family members to me and are included in everything I do. I have experience administering medications, supplements and dealing with senior pooches in the past. I have cared for many family, friends and acquaintances pets over the years, including multiple at one time. I currently am at home and available 7 days per week. My husband works full time and is off on weekends. I love to go on daily walks (often multiple) and am always up for weekend adventures at the lake, beach or in the forest with whatever furry friends I have tagging along. I have a fully fenced 1 acre property located in the Alberni Valley, about 15 minutes drive from town. I love walking the many nature trails in our area with my dog. Aside from a daily walk or two, weather dependant, you will typically find us outside on the property, gardening or just relaxing. I understand the importance of meeting the specific needs of certain dog breeds, both physical and mental, as I have a Border Collie who requires a fair amount of stimulation (if ya know, ya know). My home is spacious and well set up for doggies to enjoy both outside and indoors. No couch is off limits for the pups! My girl Millie is very well socialized and loves meeting new doggies of all shapes and sizes. Her many doggie friends will tell you she is very calm and well mannered. I do have free range chickens on our property, but haven’t had any issues with proper introduction and supervision, even with dogs who have never been around them before. I would care for your pup as if it were my own and ensure they had nothing but the best time during their stay! They may not even want to leave!

I’m currently working from home so am available to care for and walk your pet and can either care for them in your home or in my home. I have two friendly dogs who are used to sharing. I have a fenced yard and large house to care for your fur baby. If you require dog walking or care in your own home I can accommodate your preferences.

About: I have been actively petsitting for 2 years and looking after pets is my true passion! I have experience caring for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. I’m newly accepting clients on a limited basis for petsitting in my own home, I can accept 1 dog at a time and they must be friendly with other dog, and cats. I have 1 dog and 2 cats. I have a fenced yard & lots of areas for walks. For overnights in your home, I am choosing to only do a few per month now, so spots will be a limited and based on what is the most compatible, so please give information about your pet, expectations & any medications when requesting a booking. 😊 My overnight stays are evening-to-morning, meaning I typically arrive around 5–6 PM and stay overnight until the morning. Some days I may arrive a bit after 2 pm, depending on my schedule! During the daytime, I am generally away for approximately 6–8 hours, working at my job, so this service is best suited for pets who are comfortable being home alone during the day/used to working pawrents!🐾 Once I am there in the evening, I’m happy to give them their dinner, potty breaks, yard playtime, companionship, and whatever care is needed as part of their normal routine. Dog walking is not something I offer at this time, so having a yard for your dog is a requirement for overnight care. About: We had to say goodbye to our sweet dog last fall and would welcome some occasional furry love in our home again! I understand what’s involved in taking care of a dog properly, all while giving them love and attention. I raised a vizsla dog from puppy through to senior and passing on. He had epilepsy which required daily medication his whole life, was a high energy alpha male, and had lots of minor medical issues. I also grew up with a collie-shepherd rescue when I was younger. During the summer months I don’t work, so looking to add a furry friend to our family while I’m home. I have kids, so while we may go out for occasional outings, if the dog isn’t joining us, the dog would only be home for a few hours. During the school year, I would only be gone weekdays for 4-6 hours. I have a fenced rural property (just under an acre) on the edge of Comox, with access to trails and beaches, galore! There is a mudroom inside our home that is a safe place to leave a dog, or a crate if they feel safe. My children understand how to approach and treat dogs carefully and respectfully (they are 7 and 10 years old). With some blankets on the couch, your dog is welcome up for some cuddles! The house is well setup for a dog, as our last one lived here too. There is always access to fresh water for your pup, we have a walk in shower with easy access from the door on tile, and our home is a comfortable temperature year round with a heat pump.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. We had Golden Retrievers and a Shepard growing up and now I have my own fur baby who is a Chocolate Lab named Arthur. I’ve worked in the pet industry for many years from retail, assisting in a Vet clinic and a Sales Rep for a pet product company. I have a lot of free weekends and what better way to spend that extra time than to spend it with dogs! Please keep in mind I do have a dog that would also be in the home so your dog must be okay with other dogs. I believe in a healthy balance of exercise and down time. I will typically do 1-2 walks a day, play in the back yard and down time with lots of cuddles. I would also like to mention, that If you have a shy or senior dog that likes a calm environment then this is your place!

About: Had dogs all my life and trained and rehabilitated my 15 year old border collie. Recently said good bye to both family dogs. Experience with puppies, senior dogs, unique dog medical needs, and nervous dispositions. I work full time from home, can offer daily dog walks, very active family life on the weekend. Dogs can come along for any and all the adventures where appropriate. Biking, hiking, beach plays, trail runs. Back yard not fenced, very friendly German Shepard shares the yard. Steps away from the beach so many strolls for sniffs and pee breaks. One very excited toddler to pet and play. Has learned to be gentle with dogs.
