About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, having had pets of my own as well as caring for animals in my family. I’ve owned and cared for cats at different stages of their lives and have also adopted a Pit Bull mix. I’ve regularly cared for an active Husky and was responsible for maintaining her daily routine, including making sure she received her medication consistently. While I may not have decades of professional pet-care experience, I’m comfortable taking responsibility and adapting to each animal’s individual needs. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I’m attentive to those differences. Whether it’s an energetic dog that needs plenty of exercise, a cat that prefers its own space, or an animal with specific care requirements, I’m comfortable learning what works and making sure they’re well looked after. I work full-time Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, so I’m away from home during the day. My schedule is best suited to cats and dogs who are comfortable being home alone during a typical workday. Outside of work, I’m home and available to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m fully available on weekends, holidays, and long weekends, making those times especially flexible for boarding and longer stays. I’m happy to work with each pet’s usual routine and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while they’re with me. I live in a 25-foot fifth wheel in a quiet, private setting with no pets of my own. While the space is smaller than a traditional home, it provides a cozy and comfortable environment where pets can stay close by and receive plenty of attention. I have a semi-fenced yard with almost an acre of surrounding space for outdoor time. I’m also just a five-minute walk or short drive from local trails and the Nanaimo River, giving us plenty of opportunities to get outside when appropriate. Because there are no other pets in the home, your pet can settle into their own space without having to share it with unfamiliar animals. I’ll always follow their routines, care instructions, and individual boundaries, with their safety and comfort as my priority.

“Very good experience with Chloe She's very down to earth and it's obvious she loves animals. My doggo gets along great with other pups, but he's a bit hesitant now after being attacked by another dog last Fall. Chloe took the time to do slow introductions between Jughead and the other dogs to ensure he was comfortable. All in all, everything went great and I'd definitely have her pet sit again.”

About: Dog mom of Max since he was 8 weeks old. My parents used to breed miniature schnauzers, so it was really neat to be part of the process of birthing and puppy care ☺️ After an extended break from dog-sitting, I finally am settled in my own home. My partner and I recently moved to Nanaimo and are excited to explore! My partner and I work from home full-time, so our schedule is flexible for daily potty breaks, walks, outside playtime and snuggles. We also like visiting off-leash dog parks and the beach. Max is a very well loved pup! He is a member of the family, is allowed on the couch for a snuggle and sleeps at the foot of the bed. I love taking Max to off-leash dog parks and trails, so if that's appropriate for your dog, that's great too! I am happy to share lots of video and photos while your pup is in my care.
