About: ❇️ I pay close attention to animals in my care, I'm always looking out for their safety and well-being. I only host one or two dogs at a time so things stay calm and comfortable. This lets me focus on each dog and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe, happy, and at home — and give you complete confidence that they’re being well cared for. ❇️ Boarding - Bookings are available most weekends of the year from Friday evening to Sunday evening. ❇️ Dog walking - I'm available for dog walks most mornings and evenings throughout the year. ❇️ Day Care - I have daytime availability during July and August + winter/spring breaks + all stat/bank holidays. I work for the school district full time September-June. ❇️ I have a fully fenced yard, and space in my home for crates, bowls, and toys. Safety is important to me. About: I worked at my local humane society back when I lived in Ontario where I was responsible for daily enclosure cleaning/maintenance as well as keeping an eye out for any unusual or concerning conditions. I handled the animals and made sure to give them some love while I could. It wasn’t my job to do that much, but I just love animals so much and that job brought me a lot of joy. Aside from that job, I’ve handled pets most of my life. I’ve had cats, dogs, and more personally for 13 years I had a conure, and for about 7 I had a rabbit. Because of this, I’m very experienced with birds and rabbits especially! I am great with cats too, but my household does have one. She’s an old lady that sleeps mostly and if needed can easily be kept away from any other animals. At home I currently live with a cat who belongs to my sister, but I am her auntie and spend tons of time with her and look after her in ways such as helping with her inhaler, helping clip her nails, brushing, and so on. If my sister is away for any reason, she is fully under my care. Ideally I’d have your baby stay in my room with me if it works, but as a backup I do have a spare room that is pretty well empty with just a guest bed next to my room in my house, and because I live with a cat with Asthma, I try to keep all spaces (especially that room) scent free. I also have no problem staying at a client’s place for a few nights if we’ve established some comfortability and familiarity. I don’t have supplies or enclosures on my own, so all that would have to be provided by the owner. The only things I can provide currently without/additionally to the owner’s pet’s belongings are cat toys, treats, and food/water bowls.

About: I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, having had pets of my own as well as caring for animals in my family. I’ve owned and cared for cats at different stages of their lives and have also adopted a Pit Bull mix. I’ve regularly cared for an active Husky and was responsible for maintaining her daily routine, including making sure she received her medication consistently. While I may not have decades of professional pet-care experience, I’m comfortable taking responsibility and adapting to each animal’s individual needs. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I’m attentive to those differences. Whether it’s an energetic dog that needs plenty of exercise, a cat that prefers its own space, or an animal with specific care requirements, I’m comfortable learning what works and making sure they’re well looked after. I work full-time Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, so I’m away from home during the day. My schedule is best suited to cats and dogs who are comfortable being home alone during a typical workday. Outside of work, I’m home and available to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m fully available on weekends, holidays, and long weekends, making those times especially flexible for boarding and longer stays. I’m happy to work with each pet’s usual routine and make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for while they’re with me. I live in a 25-foot fifth wheel in a quiet, private setting with no pets of my own. While the space is smaller than a traditional home, it provides a cozy and comfortable environment where pets can stay close by and receive plenty of attention. I have a semi-fenced yard with almost an acre of surrounding space for outdoor time. I’m also just a five-minute walk or short drive from local trails and the Nanaimo River, giving us plenty of opportunities to get outside when appropriate. Because there are no other pets in the home, your pet can settle into their own space without having to share it with unfamiliar animals. I’ll always follow their routines, care instructions, and individual boundaries, with their safety and comfort as my priority.

About: I’m a past pet owner. I've recently looked after my sisters two small dogs for long weekends or a week at a time in BC while they were away. I’ve even looked after a relatives house, 2 Great Danes, 1 med sized dog and a few cats for a couple weeks when I was a kid with my elderly grandmother. Big responsibility! I’ve also looked after a neighbours cat for a couple weeks twice a day for feeds, daily cat litter cleaning, and music turned on and off with cuddle time. I’m bondable! I’ve volunteered and work for police forces over the years so no record etc. I believe animals have souls and need love and to be cared for. I’m willing to go to your home and water, feed and take your fur baby out for bathroom breaks and a cuddle. This will take a load off your mind as well as physically for your fur babies. I may not have years of getting paid and labelled as “professional” but I’m experienced when loving animals and using common sense to look after them and your home. Any questions, just ask. Cheers. I am a mortgage broker and can work from home. This gives me the flexibility to be with your pets mostly around the clock. Taking pets for walks and out door breaks when required. I will obliviously, learn and note what is needed as per the owner of the pet. I will make sure the pet feels loved and not alone while the owner is away. I will look after the residents as well. Pets are fed and watered in a timely manner and working with the owners schedule as required.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for over a decade and love animals. Since I was a kid animals have been drawn to me and feel safe due to my calm and caring nature. I’m active and take my dog on daily walks. I love hiking and exploring nature with my furry companions. My schedule is Tuesday-Friday and I start at 8 and my husband is off at 3:30. Both of us work 5 minutes away from home and are able to come back to the house on our lunch break if your dog needs a potty break or a quick walk. I always walk my own dog in the morning before work so he is more tired during the day. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to roam around in and my own dog to keep your dog company during the time I’m at work.
