My background includes working in dog daycares, veterinary medicine, and animal control, giving me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! We had a wonderful experience leaving our dogs with Karuna for the week! She was incredibly sweet, friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we dropped them off at her home. Her apartment is thoughtfully set up for pets and it was clear they were in a safe and caring environment. She did a great job managing our dogs’ medications, communicated with us throughout their stay and sent lots of photos and updates. We especially loved seeing pictures of them out on regular walks, which gave us peace of mind that they were getting plenty of exercise and attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter!

Yuet Pao took such great care of our little Kibou. This was our first time leaving our kitten and we couldn't be happier to have found someone so attentive to our girl. Our 11 year old, Jinx, boarded with Joanne shortly after losing her bonded brother. Within 24hrs, she was relaxed and having fun with her new routine. Joanne is clearly fabulous with dogs and we expect Jinx will 'go on vacation' many more times. Thank you Joanne! 💕
