About: I have had a dog or taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Family, neighbours and friends have all relied on me to help take care of their pets for many years. I am a huge animal lover and a health care worker and will always provide the best and safest care for your pup. Recently I have fostered some dogs through a local rescue and helped them find their new home. I have learned alot about behaviours and training with these pups. We love to play in the yard or go for walks, and have lots of snuggles on the couch :) I currently work part time so have lots of time available to spend with your dog! My flexible schedule allows me to board your pet overnight any day of the week, or drop in for visits/walks. I have a fenced back yard and two small dogs to keep your fur baby company! Your dog is welcome to treat our home as their own and I will give them lots of love and be devoted to their happiness and well being while you are away.
About: Dog mom of Max since he was 8 weeks old. Also grew up with 3 dogs as a young teen. My parents used to breed miniature schnauzers, so it was really neat to be part of the process of birthing and puppy care ☺️ After an extended break from dog-sitting, I finally am settled in my own home. My partner and I recently moved to Nanaimo and are excited to explore! I work from home full-time, so my schedule is flexible. Max and I go out for daily potty breaks, walks and outside playtime. Max would be happy to have a friend over once in a while! Max is a very well loved pup! He is a member of the family, and as such is allowed on the couch for a snuggle and sleeps at the foot of the bed. I love taking Max to off-leash dog parks and trails, so if that's appropriate for your dog, that's great too! I am happy to share lots of video and photos while your pup is in my care. I have an open-communication policy so if there is anything that concerns you, please ask!

About: I've grown up with animals my entire life, from horses to hamsters and I could never live in a house without something furry and cuddly to love. When I was in high school I opted to find my own placement for work experience rather than the schools list as I really wanted to work in a reptile house. It was fantastic and I made great friends with a King snake who I named Karl. I work mainly nights on a pub so have my days free to walk as many pooches as I can. I have my own four legged friend who is in desperate need of another furry buddy so if yours is as playful as she is they will have the best time. We are also available for boarding for one, child friendly pooch at a time as we have a very confident toddler who loves doggy cuddles! I work from home so the pups will have constant access to the back yard. I tend to do a quick walk around the block in the morning to start the day and a really good walk in the afternoon, usually down to the dam or up to Mount Benson. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Both my partner and myself grew up surrounded by animals and consider ourselves a family of 5. The dogs take just as much of a priority as we do. When we go walking, it’s as a 5; camping, as a 5. You get the picture.

I have experience caring for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable and relaxed in their familiar surroundings while you’re away. For overnights in your home, I am choosing to only do a few per month now, so spots will be a limited and based on what is the most compatible, so please give information about your pet, expectations & any medications when requesting a booking. 😊 My overnight stays are evening-to-morning, meaning I typically arrive around 5–6 PM and stay overnight until the morning. Some days I may arrive a bit after 2 pm, depending on my schedule! During the daytime, I am generally away for approximately 6–8 hours, working at my job, so this service is best suited for pets who are comfortable being home alone during the day/used to working pawrents!🐾 Once I am there in the evening, I’m happy to give them their dinner, potty breaks, yard playtime, companionship, and whatever care is needed as part of their normal routine. Dog walking is not something I offer at this time, so having a yard for your dog is a requirement for overnight care. This lets me focus on each dog and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for. Jenn and Adam were great! Our very active lab came home tired and very happy. They worked with our dog’s (sometimes intense) prey drive and got her out for lots of exercise and adventures. They are very knowledgeable about dogs and took such good care of our girl. Would highly recommend!
I'm soo happy that Ariel was able to watch my dog Cinnamon for a few days on pretty short notice. He kept me up to date on how it was going and provided pictures. Ariel also let me know that he was concerned that she wasn't eating much, but I said not to worry (it was hot those days and she isn't the biggest eater anyways). We knew our Chips was safe and well cared for with Diana so we could leave him over night without worry to go out of town - she sent us a picture of him all snuggled in so we knew he was safe and secure and not anxious even though he is a little anxious all the time :)

Yuet Pao took such great care of our little Kibou. This was our first time leaving our kitten and we couldn't be happier to have found someone so attentive to our girl.
