About: Ive grown up with dogs, cats and other pets all my life. I am compassionate and gentle, empathetic, and have learned you do not treat dogs harshly at all! Small dogs, and especially poodles, are very, very sensitive to touch. Animals also love me and dogs are drawn to me. Nutrition is important as well as the overall well being of your pet. I would love to meet up with you and your pet first, so that both of us get comfortable knowing each other. I am currently working part-time. On the calender, you can pick a day slot that is open this week or the next week, in which I am not working. I would need to go to the client's home, and go by their wishes, your pet needs to be watched closely, just like a child. Dogs tend to get into everything, and chew/eat anything. It is important to keep things up and away from dogs.

About: Hi , I’m Terry. I recently retired and now have time to spend with your doggie. Whether it’s a chill day hanging out at home or out for a good hike or walk, I love the company of dogs. Dogs were always a part of our family when I was growing up. My kid's also shared many happy childhood memories with our sweet Labrador “Jake”. Currently I am not a dog owner but love to help out with my daughter’s dog “Honey” when she’s in town.(not often enough) I’ve worked in health care for 30 years. I can offer genuine, kind , compassionate, safe, fun care to your doggie while you’re away. I’m available any day of the week and can build my day around your dog’s routine and needs. I can accommodate early drop off times. I have a large fenced yard to keep your doggie safe when they decide to go outside. They would not be sharing the house or yard with any other animals.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I treat animals with respect. I have little well train dog from Mexico. Learning to train her has given me more confidence to handle other dogs. I’ve foster dogs several times and loved it. Your dog will be loved well cared for ❤️ Walks are in the morning (7am-10:30) and after 3 pm. One hour long and with or without my dogs company. Depends of the preference of the other dog. I follow the instructions that the owners leave as each dog has its own routine and it’s important to keep them on that schedule. In order to make the dog feeling stable and safe.

About: I have professional and personal experience with dogs, working in a professional setting with up to roughly 100 dogs daily (to many...please don't hire me to look after that many) as well as working with strays and rescues out of the country... Just lots of pet experience all around. I am professionally trained in dog and cat behavior, and studied wildlife biology. Not just a dog lover, I can handle all animals well, including exotics:). I am open for over night or a few hours or days. Any time is a good time. I can be flexible for whatever works I pay attention to the animal's behavior and needs rather than wants. Every dog is a new personality and they shouldn't all be handled the same way.

About: I have cared for dogs my entire life, including walking family dogs twice daily, and I have a natural affinity with animals—they tend to respond well to me. I also have years of experience caring for cats, including administering medication and vet visits, and I am active, reliable, and comfortable being outdoors in all weather. I am available to walk dogs daily from 11am to 6pm. I can do drop in visits a bit later than that too. Let's talk about it! Safety always comes first for me, and I treat every pet with the same care and attention I would give my own. I pay close attention to details such as ensuring harnesses and leashes are secure, and I choose safe, appropriate routes based on each pet’s needs and temperament.

About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. They make the rules around here, so unfortunately I can't get a dog right now, but that means I'm more than happy to watch your dog/pets in your home :) I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety, and I'm a huge animal lover. I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have some experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I have the ability to work from home so I'd be with your pet the majority of the stay. This is great for pets who like their routines and thrive on a consistent schedule when it comes to feeding/walking/playtime etc. I've done sits for both active and low energy dogs, so I can adapt to their energy level:) As a cat mom who loves to travel internationally, I understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your home/pet and I'd be happy to provide as many updates and photos as you'd like :)

About: Lady was the first dog we had in our family (in the picture) and I had the opportunity to learn most of what I know through her. I was able to learn appropriate dog walking skills, routines for dogs, the importance of play and the impacts of going for longer walks in nature. I typically like to have the appropriate treats for dogs while on walks (depends on any known allergies) and always like have water or access to water with me to ensure hydration is being met after big runs! I’m always constantly ensuring their safety while out and mindful of where I am going. I’m currently working part-time and in school full-time at VIU; I am using this as an opportunity to get outside more; spend more time doing things that I love like going for nature walks and spending time with animals. For pet visits I hold the up most respect for your environment and how you would like me to interact in that with your pet; I have been a pet-sitter for my family and friends in the past and just always ask for exactly what you would like to see from me while there.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs of all ages—from high-energy hunting dogs to senior pups who need extra patience and care. I’ve raised a litter of puppies, spent years around training dogs, and feel confident handling dogs with different temperaments and needs. About: I've been taking care of animals for over 10 years now. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and all around care for their pets. I'm a certified vet assistant so I am very comfortable giving them medications as well and continuing on any training they might have ongoing. I am currently working at an animal hospital from 8 to 6 from Tuesday to Friday. So they would have to be okay to stay alone for 10 hours if possible if not I can try to let them out after 5 hours. I like to stay at the clients home so that your pet can stay as comfortable as they want. While keeping to their daily routine as much as possible.

About: I have been a pet parent since I was a wee lass, owned mostly dogs and cats but I've also had rabbits, birds, fish and lizards. I have experience with all ages of animals and I used to foster and help train groups of puppies for a rescue agency. I work from home with a flexible schedule so I can be available daytime and evenings as needed. I am also available for overnight stays. I offer drop in care service or a full overnight house sit as needed. I will treat your pet like my own with lots of love!

About: While a newer face to pet sitting I've had nothing but good times with my clients pets. Have extra poop bags in car. Willing taking dogs on car trips and extra long walks. Have taken care of highly reactive pets before. I love finding new ways to get out and dog walking after work is the perfect way to stretch my legs. Not every weekend has to have plans why not fit in spending time with some amazing pets. Available after 5pm Mon-Thurs Available all day/night Fri-Sun. Will provide pet with love and attention while your not home. Can perform some house cleaning tasks for small additional fee. Will be bringing my own food. (Vegan) During slow moments of pet sitting will most likely be drawing.

I work from home, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. After work we’ll get a good walk in. They’ll have access to a large, fully fenced yard for safe potty breaks and outdoor time, along with a minimum of one walk daily. Off-leash adventures can also be offered for the right fit. I share my home with two cats and children, so any dog staying with us must be comfortable, gentle, and non-reactive in these environments. For everyone’s comfort and safety, trial meet-and-greets are required for all new boarding clients.
