About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old, and have experience caring for multiple other animals as well. I care for dogs of all ages and am happy to accommodate any special needs your dog has :) I’m available to care for your pet on my days off from work, so my days are free and flexible for whatever they may need I believe treating your pet as I would my own, meeting your pet where they are at in their training, and sticking to their routine to keep them feeling safe and calm.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. My daughter has brought home more rescues than I can count ❤️. I have pet sat for friends & family over the years and of course loved & cared for our own pets! I look forward to caring for your fur family member when you have to be away! I currently work full time Monday to Friday. My availability has changed to evenings and weekends. Available starting Fridays at 3:30 pm. Occasionally I will have an extra day (stat) off to make a long weekend getaway happen 😊 Walks and of course lots of love & affection! We do have 1 very chill cat that will keep to herself and a frenchie puppy (under 1 year) That loves new friends.

About: I have had pets my entire life: a German Shepard Husky growing up, and now I have a cat that I adopted from the SPCA (my second). I love pets and they love me. I also know the difficulty that comes with having to travel and leaving your pet and often your house in the care of another person. I am respectful, responsible, kind and considerate when it comes to animals and other peoples' homes. I currently am available any day for pet sitting, and am willing to stay overnight to also take care of your house and treat your pet and house with the same care that I take with my cat and my house. Unfortunately I do not have a fenced yard so cannot have pets in my house. I am happy to care for your pet in your home whether it means dropping by to feed and clean up and spend some quality time with them, or staying over night if needed if you are going on a longer trip.

We live in a house with a fully fenced yard plenty of room to run, sniff, and play. There's also a large open field nearby where we regularly play frisbee and enjoy off-leash style fun in a safe setting. About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for family and friends since my teen years. I regularly care for my sisters Siberian Huskies, so I'm familiar with high energy pets! I also have an elderly cat of my own that I love dearly who I've had her entire life. I am currently only working a few side-hustles so my schedule is very flexible to meet your pet care needs. Let me know your pets regular schedule and my aim will be to keep things as consistent as I can for their comfort. My goal is to keep your pets on their regular schedule while you are away so that they are as comfortable as possible. About: Growing up, I always had dogs and cats. When I moved to Nanaimo for school, I missed my pets so much that I started volunteering with ElderDog Nanaimo in 2022. I joined Rover three years ago, and it’s been an amazing journey! Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities: from confident, easygoing pups to those who need extra patience, trust, and understanding. I’ve loved getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I also completed my 208-hour criminology practicum with the BC SPCA, where I worked closely with dogs and cats, learning about their behaviour, backgrounds, and individual needs. I helped administer medication, provided daily care, and gave them the love and support they needed as they prepared to find their forever homes. Since June 2026, I am a VIU Criminology alumni! At the moment, I am away in Northwestern Ontario helping with wildfire operations, as a fire ranger. I look forward to resuming Rover bookings in October and caring for your pets again! My schedule is generally very flexible, allowing me to provide reliable care for your pets. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to book for October or later. About: Hi! I'm a full-time cat mom of two wonderful kitties, Iggy & Hans. They make the rules around here, so unfortunately I can't get a dog right now, but that means I'm more than happy to watch your dog/pets in your home :) I grew up with 2 beautiful Newfoundlands and a Heinz variety, and I'm a huge animal lover. I have experience with young pups/senior dogs, and have some experience providing medication to both dogs and cats. I have the ability to work from home so I'd be with your pet the majority of the stay. This is great for pets who like their routines and thrive on a consistent schedule when it comes to feeding/walking/playtime etc. I've done sits for both active and low energy dogs, so I can adapt to their energy level:) As a cat mom who loves to travel internationally, I understand how stressful and hard it can be to trust someone with your home/pet and I'd be happy to provide as many updates and photos as you'd like :)

About: I have experience in dog walking, training, daycare and grooming. I have also volunteered in many shelters, walking shelter dogs. I know basic dog first aid and also happen to love dog photography! I have experience with all dog breeds and there is no dog too big or small. I have owned dogs all my life and have lots of experience with puppies all the way to seniors. I am also happy to provide ear cleanings, nail trims and baths. If you’re looking for someone who loves your pet just as much as you do, you have found the right person! In my personal life I do contracting work and am available almost any time for you and your dogs needs! Im looking for some more furry friends to fill my days! I have two of my own dogs! A French bulldog and a dachshund. I am open to having group walks or just one on one walks. I am also open to taking your pups on various hikes as it is one of my passions. About: I have taken care of many different dogs, including border collies, havanese and husky mixes! I grew up doing dog trials with 10-11 border collies & have house and dog sat over 5 times (1 being for over 4 months). I am open to dogsits, dog walks and housesits as well as quick drop ins! I am very active and would love taking your dogs on walks/runs/hikes in my free time! I keep dogs on their schedule and make sure to keep their life as regular as possible as if their owner has never left. I make sure to get all the needed information: medications, food schedules & exercise routines before the owner leaves.

About: I've been taking care of animals for over 10 years now. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and all around care for their pets. I'm a certified vet assistant so I am very comfortable giving them medications as well and continuing on any training they might have ongoing. I am currently working at an animal hospital from 8 to 6 from Tuesday to Friday. So they would have to be okay to stay alone for 10 hours if possible if not I can try to let them out after 5 hours. I like to stay at the clients home so that your pet can stay as comfortable as they want. While keeping to their daily routine as much as possible.

About: Hi, I’m Tyler! I’m a programmer who works from home and has a deep love for dogs. I had a golden retriever named Zipper for 10 amazing years. Losing him was incredibly hard, and while I’m not ready to get another dog just yet, caring for other people’s dogs is a wonderful way for me to stay connected with animals I love. I work from home as a programmer with very limited work hours, so I have a lot of free time in my schedule. I like to play chess online in the evenings, and I really only go out on Wednesday afternoon/evenings to the chess club, and am otherwise always home. For boarding: I live in a 1,330 sq. ft. pet-friendly apartment. I got permission from my strata council to have a dog stay here. For boarding at my place, it is especially important that your dog does not bark or whine, and is well behaved (no bathroom accidents, chewing on furniture, etc.). For dog-sitting: I would kindly request that your house be clean upon my arrival, and I will return it just as clean upon my departure. My rates are for taking care of your dog. I'm happy to check the mail and do basic requests like this, but watering plants, mowing the lawn, cleaning the house (outside of my mess) is not within the services I provide. For both: I will be home nearly all the time except for 4 hours on Wednesdays and maybe 20m-1h some other days to go buy groceries or pick up food, etc.

About: Hey! I’m a Veterinary Assistant with 4 years of experience working in clinic. This has taught me many valuable skills including post surgical / wound care, administration of various medications, dietary needs, and many other pet caring skills. I also have spent a great deal of time caring for my own elderly doggy who recently passed from cancer. This in conjunction with my training has given me a great deal of experience working with high need pets who require complicated care. I’ve also done some casual cat and dog sitting for family, friends, and coworkers. Since my own doggie passed I have been missing my pet time and thought this would be the perfect way to get my fix! :) This September I’ll be going into full time school, as a student I will need to be on the VIU campus for 2-8 hours daily on weekdays. I’ll be available for pet care before and after class, and all day on weekends. :) As someone who has worked with pets of all kinds with varying medical and physical needs you can rest assured that I will have both the skills and knowledge to give your pet the absolute best care!
