About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking for many years, I have experience with all pets. I have worked with all different sizes and breeds, I have also worked with different temperaments. I’ve dealt with shy and timid dogs, to aggressively not good with other animals or humans, and of course loving and super friendly dogs. Pets are my passion and I only have what’s best interest for them :) I have tons of references if wanted, I am super flexible and just happy to help with your furry family members. I am happy to just drop by and give a snuggle or out for a bathroom break, and I am also happy to stay at your home for as long as you need. “I contacted Dorothy months ahead about a drop-in type visit while my husband and I were to be visiting Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, from California for a family wedding. I scheduled with Dorothy to come to our travel trailer in the Living Forest Campground and RV Park for the Meet n Greet to not only meet us, but how to get in our trailer, all about the dogs and their needs. Dorthy listened to all that was needed and then contacted me by text during the scheduled evening when we were gone to let us know she’d been there and handled everything. There were three dogs to walk in two trailers and Dorothy fed each one and took them for walks to get their business done; what a lifesaver she was so that we could be gone for an extended time and all was handled. I recommend Dorothy without hesitation and will use her again if we ever come back to Nanaimo.”

I live in a condo but we go for 3 walks away, our lunch time walk is an hour, in the mornings and normally to the dog park after work, but that’s only if your dog is comfortable with dog parks. I have a sweet rescue dog. I’m at home full time and would love another pup to hangout with us in the day or over nights

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I treat animals with respect. I have little well train dog from Mexico. Learning to train her has given me more confidence to handle other dogs. I’ve foster dogs several times and loved it. Your dog will be loved well cared for ❤️ Walks are in the morning (7am-10:30) and after 3 pm. One hour long and with or without my dogs company. Depends of the preference of the other dog. I follow the instructions that the owners leave as each dog has its own routine and it’s important to keep them on that schedule. In order to make the dog feeling stable and safe.

About: Hi there, my dog and best friend, Murphy, passed away in January, and I'm missing furry companionship and providing care. While I'm not ready for another dog of my own, I'd love to share my time and pet care skills temporarily, giving your dog a loving experience while you are away. I am experienced with all types of dogs and situations, and am able to take care of your furry family member in the way that best meets their needs. I understand separation anxiety, etc, and how difficult it can be to go away without them. I have a flexible schedule and, with enough notice, can plan to be with your dog 24/7 while you are away, so that they have constant companionship, exercise, and care. If my calendar doesn't quite have what you need dates-wise, just send me a message and I can often accommodate a bit before or after. With a pre-meet, I can learn what type of environment, activity, and care is best suited so that your dog's experience meets their needs and your expectations. Your peace of mind is my goal! I do ask for you to fill out a form about your pet's needs/personality prior to taking care of your beloved and at least 1 (ideally 2) meet and greets, so I can understand them better and ensure I'm a good match for their care:)
