About: Hello! My name is Emily and I am an animal lover living in beautiful Sooke. I've lived in Greater Victoria for most of my life and grew up with cats and dogs. I own two black cats, and live with four of them in total! While my experience is mostly with cats and dogs, I like (almost) all animals, except for arachnids. I am comfortable doing basic grooming (brushing, nail trims) on both cats and dogs as well as driving pets for appointments or adventures. I am available for walks, drop in visits, overnight care in your home, and more. Rates are flexible and I am also open to trades for goods or services. My schedule is currently fairly open. On Wednesdays I take my grandmother out to do her errands. I currently have three dogs in my walk rotation that I take out a couple days a week. Pets are one of my favourite parts of life. My cats are what get me out of bed most mornings, and not just because they are screaming for breakfast!

About: I have not owned a cat in many years but always enjoy their company. Even the most unsocial cats seek out affection and attention for me. I have been involved with farming and farm sitting since I was a child. I work a couple of part time jobs in healthcare. My schedule for meeting with clients is flexible and can easily be worked around pet care commitments. I have walking trails and a fenced dog park in my neighbourhood. I have a spacious home and areas of my home can be closed off in order to assure a safe environment when I am not able to be around to observe the pets in my care directly.

About: Experienced cat, dog and snake sitter! I have experience with difference temperaments so shy, anxious, or high energy are no issue at all (: I’ve cared for animals with health issues including preparing and giving medications, and helping with post surgical care. I grew up with cats, dogs, lizards, and rodents and absolutely love animals! Being away at university I don’t get to spend much time with pets, but I always jump at the opportunity to pet sit for friends! I love photography as well and I’m happy to bring my camera to take some quality pics of your pets for you (: I’m currently a part time UVic student with lots of spare time to hang out with your pets! Happy to drop in or do a walk before and after my classes! I currently am not able to board animals at home, but I’m happy to do house sitting and drop in services for you and your pets (:

About: I’m lucky to have two amazing dogs in my life, Luna ( a lady of a certain age! ) she belongs to my son and when she comes to me for her “holidays” we enjoy long, leisurely walks and/or a lovely swim in the ocean! And lots of cosy, curled up on the couch time. Then there’s Molly- who is a sweet golden retriever puppy belonging to my daughter. I spent a wonderful summer with Molly in tow, at just 10 weeks old, everything was new to her and delighted her. Although our walks were short, we went often and Molly made many friends in the neighbourhood! My daughter lives in the Okanagan Valley therefore, sadly I don’t get to spend nearly enough time with “our” Molly. Having said that, I do have lots of time to spend with your precious canine! I love walking and believe I would be a great companion for your dog when you can’t be there. I will strive to walk in different areas to provide visual interest to your dog and take the utmost care of him/ her at all times. I prefer on leash walks but am more than happy to play off leash games in your back yard. If your dog requires medication, I’m quite confident with that - recently Luna needed a course of injections and I was able to do that with no problems and obviously, I can feed your dog if required. At the moment I provide 2 kitties with regular overnight care and drop in visits. One of whom is diabetic & requires daily medication. I have lots of flexibility at the moment. I can offer week day and weekend service and am happy to tailor the length/ type of walk to suit your dog. I prefer to offer one on one care to deepen my bond with your dog. I am excellent housekeeper & live “lightly” in my clients homes.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I worked with horses for five years and have spent the last three years working with and around dogs. I also raised and trained my own dog from puppyhood, who is now a government-certified service dog. That journey taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand each animal’s unique needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, focusing on their safety, comfort, and happiness while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine through walks, enrichment, training, and personalized care. I prioritize consistency, reliability, and giving every pet individual attention. I provide attentive, personalized care in every home. With parks, trails, and Beacon Hill nearby, pets enjoy safe walks, enrichment, playtime, and plenty of affection.

About: I am a young professional who loves the outdoors. I spend most of my time being very active outside. I enjoy hiking, running or long walks on the beach in all types of weather! I have always loved dogs and have spent many years being around them and caring for them. Growing up, I had dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters and guinea pigs, mice, frogs etc. I often volunteer to take friend's and familie's dogs for walks in my spare time or pet sit over longer periods of time.
