About: Lover of all animals. Throughout my life, I’ve owned and helped care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, and even reptiles! I grew up with dogs, have dog sat for family and friends throughout my teens, and have provided casual care for friends’ dogs in my adult life. Though I haven’t had the space for a dog of my own yet, I hope to adopt someday. In the meantime, I figured pet sitting would be the next best thing! As for cats, I have cared for my own the past 9 years. I love cats just as much as dogs while understanding the behavioural differences between the two. I live in the West Shore, but commute downtown a couple of times a week for work, allowing me flexibility for drop ins and walks whether you’re in the West Shore yourself or downtown. On the weekends, my availability is very flexible and I am typically able to provide even full time care on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I have a calm and patient demeanor and always take the time to help make pets feel more comfortable. I understand how stressful it can be for pets to be separated from their people and want to provide as inclusive and stress-free of an environment possible for them while providing the utmost attentive care for their needs.

About: Ever since I was 5 we have had a dog or three in the house. I have learned from a young age how to care for, love, and properly discipline dogs to assure that they know they are loved and yet display the best behaviour possible! All while keeping them happy and healthy. I am a business owner and over the past year I have been able to step away from the front lines and do management. This gives me the time needed to spend with your dogs and make sure they are taken care of while you are away! As I cannot offer services at my home, I will assure that your home is taken care of as well as your dog. Your home will be treated as if it is mine and your dog aswell. About: I have been looking after dogs (and many other animals including cats and horses) for 15+ years as favours to friends and family, so I have a massive love for all furry creatures! I have grown up with dogs and can detect body language changes, and know how to defuse situations if they do escalate. I have worked with dogs who are other-dog reactive, and know how to cater our walks to suit their needs without additional stress. Whether you are looking to have you pup join Atlas and I at our enclosed acreage, or would like me to simply drop in to visit and break up your pup's day with a play in the yard, I'm happy to do it all. Currently on a very open schedule due to the nature of casual work, and am looking to continue building up my experience here on Rover! :) I am a casually employed person, so have multiple weeks of time off in which I can dedicate to pet-sitting! Whether you're looking for just a few days, or something more extended, I can accommodate both needs. I have a fully enclosed rural acreage with automatic button-controlled gates, and reinforced wiring along the bottom two panels of fencing. We live on a quiet street with a few school children that commute in the morning/afternoon, but otherwise, not very busy. A lovely, safe, interesting space for them to explore and enjoy.

About: ​I grew up with a rescue dog and multiple cats, and I've been around animals my whole life. I currently live with and co-trained a high energy German Shepherd/Malinois cross, so I'm very comfortable with daily exercise routines and handled her recovery after major knee surgery. I've taken on the sole care of a senior cat whose owner had to unexpectedlyleave the province for a year, I frequently sit for my relatives' cats, and have stepped in to care for a neighbour's Chihuahua when they had a medical emergency. ​I like to meet animals where they are at. cuddling the ones who want attention and giving space to the ones who need it, while figuring out their individual personalities. I work 9-5 in town, have a car, so am open to drop ins around those hours and overnight stays. I also live in a house with a fenced backyard with my good friend who is home during the day and happy to help sitting if you are looking for more full-time boarding. Depending on the service, I keep things pretty adaptable. If they are staying at my place, I make sure they get plenty of time to decompress, utilize the fenced yard, and stick to a comfortable routine. If I'm staying at your house, I respect your space and your pet's normal habits. Because I pay close attention to animal body language, I'm quick to notice subtle signs if they are feeling stressed, anxious, or unwell, and I'll adjust accordingly.
