About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 3 indoor cats and caring for my grandparents German Shepherds. I fostered many dogs and cats with my roommates in University, and worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2+ years. I’ve rescued a senior dog from the SPCA (who since passed) and now have a 3.5yr Rottweiler. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can make myself available at anytime needed to provide care for your pets. A typical day with my dog consists morning potty, breakfast, long walk, indoor mental play time, supper, outside potty and more play time. It’s not uncommon to go for off-leash walks in a park. Another activity we enjoy is mental enrichment - either a mind game with treats or frozen kong. I have a condo in Westhills. There are many parks and trails nearby. I also have a SUV I use to take the dogs on adventures to the beach, hikes, etc. As for care in your home; I like to maintain whatever schedule you have!

Sara-Maude took such wonderful care of our Bichon Frise, Minnie! From the moment we met her, we knew Minnie was in great hands. She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We haven’t left our dog with someone who isn’t family for many years and we were a bit nervous, but this disappeared after the first hour of being away. Sara-Maude took Minnie on walks, gave her lots of love and cuddles, and truly treated her as if she were her own. It was clear that Minnie was happy, comfortable, and incredibly well cared for.
