About: I had a large dog for 12 plus years. I love how active and different all dogs are. Their fun personality speaks volumes about each breed! I have a very flexible work day. I also work a 5 minute walk from home so it is easy to check in with pets. I'm off on weekends and early on Fridays for outdoor adventures. I have a fenced yard for day time play. I live I'm a beautiful walkable neighborhood for more adventures. There are no Pets here to make your pet feel more comfortable
About: My experience over the years with dogs has been with a variety of different breeds, ages and behaviors. I volunteered fostering dogs at the Victoria Humane Society in 2022 where I gained a lot of experience with different temperaments and ages/mixed breeds. The highlight of my experience was working for Island Miniature Schnauzers outside of Sooke in 2016 for 8 months. My duties were: Home Life training for adopted puppies. This provided the new owners one week of me training the puppy at my home. This included walking on leash for the first time, crate training, schedule for house training, socializing with other dogs and people to name a few.. I provided video and pictures to the new owners to keep them up to date on progress. I also took older Shnauzers who were used to farm life and adapted them to urban life by going on leashed walks, greeting new dogs and people. I also learned to groom puppies and older dogs as well. You can see in all my photo's with the Schnauzer puppies and dogs that I trained while working for IMS. Over the years I have taken care of friends/family dogs and cats at their home. I treat all animals like my very own. I massage them, comfort them them and just love them up! I have a nice sized backyard that is fully fenced for play. There are many trails, beaches and lakes that we go on each day. Depending on your dogs level of care, adjusting the cost is a flexibility I offer. I am retired and am home most of the day while caring for your pet. We walk once or 2x a day and I have a nice sized backyard. Games and training time are incorporated into our day. I aim to make it as balanced and fun as possible. I offer 2 walks a day. There are many places to walk close to my home & the galloping goose trail is behind my gate. My backyard is a good size for running and zoomies. Naps and downtime are a must for a happy healthy dog. The dogs sleep with me unless they need to be in a crate.

Dexter (he's the golden Horgi in her pictures) took to her, her two little fur babies, and her inviting home right away. From his first stay, he jumps out of the car and runs right for her door. Jena is flexible, compassionate, and I feel completely comfortable knowing Dexter is getting the best of care. About: I grew up with both cats and dogs and had two of my own when I moved out of the house. My first dog was a challenge, needed consistent and positive reinforcement to be properly socialized but was an amazing fellow eventually passing from bone cancer. My last dog lived to the ripe old age of 14, needing special care his last few years. I miss them both dearly, both were about 85 pounds each. My friend and I volunteered at Soi Dog Dog Rescue in Thailand this year, walking and caring for small and large dogs. It was a great experience, some of these dogs are absolutely terrified and just need someone to care and give them some love while they are trained and socialized to hopefully become adopted. A life-changing experience in patience and training some very non-social dogs. I work three days a week from home, two in the office but can bring my friends to work with me. Love walking so if I am caring for your dog they will get lots of exercise! I have a fenced yard on a quiet street, all pets have free reign of the house. Trail not too far from me that I like to walk, hopefully someone will join me!

Wowie where do I start! Lucy and John are just all around amazing humans. They're very communicative, flexible, kind hearted and sooo caring. Jules and Cody are an absolute delight. They took amazing care of my pup Ki, paid close attention to details, ensured he was safe and comfortable throughout the entire day and treated him to lots of walks and playtime. Flora watched Pinon during the day when we went on a fishing trip. She took great care of him, was attentive to our requests, and treated him like her own. Her flexibility and great communication made it easy to trust her. He was so excited whenever he saw her, and that makes all the difference. Alanna took excellent care of our older dog. She was very attentive and took care to work with our dog’s old lady quirks.
