About: I grew up with lots of dogs, and bunnies too. I have cared for dogs my whole life as my mom took in strays. I am very attentive and personable with animals and they can sense that. I believe exercise is really important for an animals wellbeing. Also, dogs need lots of attention and social interaction so that they can thrive in their families and with other dogs. I'm in great shape so I can keep up with the gentle giants! I am also a proud mom so I am very nurturing and attentive to others needs. I'm really excited to meet some furry pals. About: I have spent most of my childhood into early 20s rescuing dogs and either rehoming or keeping them for their full life span. I can care for your dog like they are my own! I love getting outside any chance I can get and typically work my regular job in the evenings so this provides a great morning routine for dogs whos owners typically work early mornings and through the day. I care for pets by using positive reinforcement when learning new skills and providing lots of attention and time outside so they do not develop bad behaviours in the home or in public.

About: I love animals and have lots of experience with dogs. I have owned Chihuahuas, Havanese, Poodles, and a Doberman. I love training dogs (no formal experience just as a hobby) and making sure they stay stimulated and entertained with toys and activities. I am comfortable with puppies and also senior dogs. I am a very active person and love going on long walks no matter the weather. I am currently going to school and travel for work part time. When I am here I am flexible most week days. I also have some availability on the weekend as well. My home has yard space and is close to parks for walking. I am also happy to care for pets at a clients home if needed.

About: Lover of all animals. Throughout my life, I’ve owned and helped care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, and even reptiles! I grew up with dogs, have dog sat for family and friends throughout my teens, and have provided casual care for friends’ dogs in my adult life. Though I haven’t had the space for a dog of my own yet, I hope to adopt someday. In the meantime, I figured pet sitting would be the next best thing! As for cats, I have cared for my own the past 9 years. I love cats just as much as dogs while understanding the behavioural differences between the two. I live in the West Shore, but commute downtown a couple of times a week for work, allowing me flexibility for drop ins and walks whether you’re in the West Shore yourself or downtown. On the weekends, my availability is very flexible and I am typically able to provide even full time care on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I have a calm and patient demeanor and always take the time to help make pets feel more comfortable. I understand how stressful it can be for pets to be separated from their people and want to provide as inclusive and stress-free of an environment possible for them while providing the utmost attentive care for their needs.

About: I adopted my cat Bruma when I was 18. She’s sweet, independent, and has taught me the importance of respecting each pet’s unique personality and boundaries. Years later, I welcomed Nala, a very well-behaved husky. I personally trained her to be calm, quiet, and to give her paw and do high fives — it’s been a joyful and rewarding journey. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently live with both Bruma and Nala, so I understand the dynamics of multi-pet households and how to meet individual needs with love and attention. Whether your pet thrives on affection, structure, or quiet companionship, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I just wanted to clarify that my husband is not assisting me with pet care during any service periods. I am the only person responsible for the pets in my care, and there will be no transfer of custody, care, or control to anyone else. Pet care is naturally part of my daily routine. I start and end each day spending quality time with my own pets, which includes feeding, walks, playtime, and quiet companionship. I organize my schedule to make sure I can give each animal the attention they need, whether it is a morning walk, a midday check-in, or an evening cuddle session. I also have the support of my husband when he is not working, which allows us to provide even more care and love to the pets we look after. Taking care of animals is not something I just fit into my day; it is part of how I live my life every day. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my client's home. At home, we maintain a calm and pet-friendly environment with secure spaces where animals can relax, play, or enjoy quiet time depending on their needs. Our cat and dog are both friendly and well-behaved, and we always make sure any new pet feels welcome and safe. If I am caring for a pet in their own home, I closely follow the owner's routines and instructions to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible for the animal. I’m an intuitive energy ( Reiki Master ) healer which allows me to connect and understand your dog’s needs at a deeper level. I also have many years of teaching and practicing first aid under my belt, as well as 11years of caring for my first dog Charlie. For overnight / daycare : we live in a coach house in Langford BC - a close drive to Royal Oak Beach. It’s such a beautiful, safe neighbourhood to explore and go for walks. Sooke Hills Wilderness Park is just 3mins away. Note there is a set of stairs leading up to my living space so for those dogs that can’t do stairs I might not be a good fit. I am available to sit at your home though if it’s easier. I’m currently working from home writing my film. My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time for play and walks. Your pet is always my first priority though and I will customize my days around their schedule and care. Dogs are always leashed and well cared for when out for walks. I don’t have a yard or anywhere they can escape from. Their safety will always be my first priority.

We are looking to add furry friends to our lives and have lots of love to give. Your dog or cat will be treated like family under our care. We will take your dog out for bathroom breaks as needed and feed them according to their feeding schedule with food you provide. We have a food and water dish but we will rely on you to provide pet food and treats. We won't provide any food that isn't yours to ensure that there is no risk to your pet. We also ask that you bring any favourite toys or other items your furry friend requires to keep them comfortable during their stay :)

About: I want to take care of your pup because I adobe dogs, as much as I want to have a second one but I can't right now ( I have a 60lbs standard poodle). The best way is to become a pet sitter so I can have a temporary second dog and Reggie can make new friends. Besides Reggie, I also grew up in a family that always own dogs. My first dog was a black lab. He passed when I was 10. After, my mom adopted 3 Pomeranians and a Jack Russell at once. I can say I am capable of taking care of both small and large breeds. I just recently graduated from university. I want to take a break after many years in school, I only work part time so I can spend more time with my pup. I am usually home most of the time. I live in the apartment. However, there are many trails around my place, and a Soccer field is 2 mins walk. I will make sure you pup get enough exercise and walks.

I have been reliable for walking and taking care of many friends and families dogs/cats and always make sure they get all the love! I’m also available on weekends for any boarding or walks to make sure your pet is always well taken care of! I have a fenced yard as well as a very friendly senior yorkie. About: Hi there! I am a mom to two girls ages 2 and 4. They are absolutely obsessed with both cats and dogs. I don’t feel quite ready for the commitment for a third “child” while they are still so young. We thought Rover would be the perfect fit to “scratch their itch” until we are ready for our own pet. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and have helped my mom and sisters look after their dogs on a regular basis. I’ve also looked after neighbours pets while they’ve been on vacation. My girls have been exposed to lots of cats and dogs and are extremely gentle. We would give preference to boarding a cat/dog who comes from a family with kids. I am a stay-at-home mom with two little girls. We mainly stay close to home but like to get out for walks. My husband also works from home so your dog/cat will be well cared for and rarely be left alone. Our home in a clean and hygienic space. We have a fully fenced yard with a very high gate. Both of my kids are extremely gentle with other animals and love to give snuggles. I can provide regular check-ins and updates if desired for peace of mind.

About: I have been a huge dog lover since I was very young and have always had a dog of my own until recently when my dog passed away at 17 years of age . I truly miss the companionship and would be thrilled to help you care for your fur baby when you are unable to ! I currently work from home most days of the week and live beside the gorgeous gorge park . I an active and looking to get out for some lovely walks with any type of dog , leisure walks , runs , hikes or swims ! I have a calm and relaxing home with a cat who adores other dogs , I can easily keep them separated if I need to. I live beside the gorge park which is perfect for dog walking ; I have an suv if i need to travel to you or go for a car ride with the pup !

About: I have grown up with pets since I was a baby. I had a cat when I was younger and currently have two golden retrievers in the house. I absolutely adore animals and I love to interact with them either through play or just giving them love and attention. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed and look after their pets when they have been away and I have always enjoyed getting to take care and spend time with them. I am comfortable with pets of any size and will always make sure I know everything I possibly can when taking care of your family member. During the summer, I will be working part-time so I will need at least 1 day's notice to check my schedule. However, my schedule will be pretty flexible.
