About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. Back in Brazil, I had dogs growing up, and for the past two years I’ve been the proud mom of Amelie, a Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix with the sweetest personality! Being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I love understanding their unique personalities, taking them on walks, watching them play, and just being present with them. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for friends whenever they travel, and over time I realized I had a real skill for it, that’s what inspired me to turn this into something more. I’m calm, patient, and very attentive to each dog’s needs. I’m also comfortable giving oral medication if needed. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my priorities! Pet care fits really well into my routine! I work part-time as a caregiver. Caring for others has always been part of my life, as I’m also a trained esthetician. My shifts are overnight, which gives me plenty of time during the day to care for pets, go on walks, and be fully present with them. My husband and I do this together, we both love animals and share the responsibility. On the nights I’m working, he stays with the pets, making sure they’re safe and comfortable. It’s a team effort, and we truly enjoy it! I live in an apartment, so I only host one dog at a time (plus my own sweet dog, Amelie). That way, I can give each pet the attention they deserve and ensure a calm, safe environment. I accept small to medium-sized dogs only, as I don’t have a backyard and want to make sure they feel comfortable indoors. We go on regular walks and have a peaceful routine at home. Your pet will be treated like family and always under loving supervision!

About: Dogs and cats have always been special to me. Your furry family members are safe in my care. Check-ins, feedings, and medicine applications are all in my repertoire. I'm a BC native, new to the island. I'm a mortgage broker and have plenty of spare time, so pet sitting fits right into my lifestyle. I'll be there for your beloved family members when they need me. Walkings, feedings, medicine applications, pets, snuggles, and other common means of care are certainly available. I can also teach common tricks, if you have any requests.

We have looked after over 40 dogs and cats and our reviews speak for themselves! We are looking to add furry friends to our lives and have lots of love to give. Your dog or cat will be treated like family under our care. We will take your dog out for bathroom breaks as needed and feed them according to their feeding schedule with food you provide. We are both active and will ensure your dog gets the physical activity it desires! We will communicate with you throughout and will share as many updates and photos as you desire. We are conscientious young professionals who have excellent communication and organization skills, so we will ensure your experience is hassle-free! Lauren is wrapping up her PhD program at the University of Victoria and is also a sessional instructor at the university. We both are quite flexible with commitments and are quite easily able to take your dog out for walks and potty breaks throughout the day. We both are very active and pet care fits right into our schedules. We live in a house with a fenced yard to the side and an unfenced yard out front plus a number of parks nearby. Our home is spacious and yours will get all of our love and attention! We have a very friendly cat named Severus. He is an adventurous boy and loves making friends. We have a food and water dish but we will rely on you to provide pet food and treats. We won't provide any food that isn't yours to ensure that there is no risk to your pet. We also ask that you bring any favourite toys or other items your furry friend requires to keep them comfortable during their stay :)

I was a Rover client for years and always appreciated the peace of mind it brought me. I’m excited to give back and spend time with your animals. We live in a house with a fenced yard and a dog door that can be blocked or open. I love being outside and going for walks, and I especially enjoy building trust through positive reinforcement and trick training. I’m most comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs, particularly those who walk well on leash. I’m also a nurse, which gives me a strong comfort level with administering medications , whether it’s an easy pill pocket or a more challenging situation. I’ve had experience giving medications to both cooperative and more anxious dogs, and I always approach it with patience and gentleness. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, some cuddles, or a bit of extra care, I’d love the chance to be there for them. I am a nurse with flexibility with my schedule. I have lots of free time during the day for dog walking and pet care. About: I have owned cats and dogs my whole life. I also have experience with reptiles and fish can also provide nail trims for a nominal fee, and have some experience as a veterinary assistant. I have successfully leash trained some of my family member's pets, and enjoy providing a structured environment if required. I have a lot of experience pet-sittjng in the past for family and friends. I take pride in providing safe, and enriching time with people's furry babies to minimize their stress. I currently work full-time, 4 on, 4 off. I have my schedule a year in advance, so I can book well-ahead for when I am on my days off, or on short shifts so that your furry family member is not left alone for too long. I currently have two cats that are fairly independent, but we like to structure feeding times, and ensure our boys are well-taken care of, and always safe. If we are gone for extended times, we provide gravity feeders and waterers. Many pets can have unique needs, including white noise/music during absences, crate-training, rigid adherence to diet/training, frequent/intensive exercise. These are all things I am happy to provide either in my home, or yours.
