About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. Back in Brazil, I had dogs growing up, and for the past two years I’ve been the proud mom of Amelie, a Chihuahua and Pomeranian mix with the sweetest personality! Being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I love understanding their unique personalities, taking them on walks, watching them play, and just being present with them. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for friends whenever they travel, and over time I realized I had a real skill for it, that’s what inspired me to turn this into something more. I’m calm, patient, and very attentive to each dog’s needs. I’m also comfortable giving oral medication if needed. Your pet’s happiness and safety are my priorities! Pet care fits really well into my routine! I work part-time as a caregiver. Caring for others has always been part of my life, as I’m also a trained esthetician. My shifts are overnight, which gives me plenty of time during the day to care for pets, go on walks, and be fully present with them. My husband and I do this together, we both love animals and share the responsibility. On the nights I’m working, he stays with the pets, making sure they’re safe and comfortable. It’s a team effort, and we truly enjoy it! I live in an apartment, so I only host one dog at a time (plus my own sweet dog, Amelie). That way, I can give each pet the attention they deserve and ensure a calm, safe environment. I accept small to medium-sized dogs only, as I don’t have a backyard and want to make sure they feel comfortable indoors. We go on regular walks and have a peaceful routine at home. Your pet will be treated like family and always under loving supervision!

We have looked after over 40 dogs and cats and our reviews speak for themselves! We both are very active and pet care fits right into our schedules. We live in a house with a fenced yard to the side and an unfenced yard out front plus a number of parks nearby. Our home is spacious and yours will get all of our love and attention! We have a very friendly cat named Severus. He is an adventurous boy and loves making friends. We have a food and water dish but we will rely on you to provide pet food and treats. We won't provide any food that isn't yours to ensure that there is no risk to your pet. We also ask that you bring any favourite toys or other items your furry friend requires to keep them comfortable during their stay :)

About: I have been caring for animals in general since I was 10 years old. I love petting them and taking care of them. I also love teaching them different ways to respond to calls and, above all, taking care of them as if they were another member of the family. I’m working Monday to Friday 7-4PM, so I’d be available after this day time during week & full weekend. I work during the week, but I’m available on weekends and on my days off for walks, daycare, and boarding. For added convenience, I also offer pick-up and drop-off if needed. During those days, I structure my schedule around walks, outdoor time, play, and rest to ensure dogs in my care receive plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. Living so close to the lagoon and Royal Roads trails makes it easy to provide regular, enriching outings throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. I live just a 2-minute walk from Esquimalt Lagoon Beach and the Royal Roads trails, where I regularly take my dog, Mocha, for structured, enriching walks. I also go on trails for adventure walks. For safety, dogs are always kept leashed unless otherwise discussed and appropriate. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and supervised play. Mocha is a very friendly, well-socialized dog who adapts well to different personalities. He can be calm and respectful or playful and energetic depending on your dog’s vibe. I’m very attentive to routines and will carefully follow all of your instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walk preferences, crate training, and any special needs. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, and I aim to make them feel comfortable, secure, and at home. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 3 indoor cats and caring for my grandparents German Shepherds. I fostered many dogs and cats with my roommates in University, and worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2+ years. I’ve rescued a senior dog from the SPCA (who since passed) and now have a 3.5yr Rottweiler. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can make myself available at anytime needed to provide care for your pets. A typical day with my dog consists morning potty, breakfast, long walk, indoor mental play time, supper, outside potty and more play time. It’s not uncommon to go for off-leash walks in a park. Another activity we enjoy is mental enrichment - either a mind game with treats or frozen kong. I have a condo in Westhills. There are many parks and trails nearby. I also have a SUV I use to take the dogs on adventures to the beach, hikes, etc. As for care in your home; I like to maintain whatever schedule you have!

About: I have a beautiful, sweet kitty in my life but I need more love and I’m hoping to get it from your pets! I grew up on a hobby farm with all sorts of animals. I have experience with cats, dogs, small animals, birds, large livestock and even insects and arachnids. I have to say living in the farm has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Through my many years experience with pets I have learned to read the body language and eye contact of a variety of animals making it easier to build trust and a better connection. I’m attentive and affectionate and am confident your loved ones will be in safe in my loving hands. I work part time from home in the insurance industry but would love to eventually make Rover my fulltime career. I am able to take your pet outside to the bathroom anytime of the day and can go for mini walks on my breaks before the big adventure after work. About: I have spent most of my childhood into early 20s rescuing dogs and either rehoming or keeping them for their full life span. I can care for your dog like they are my own! I love getting outside any chance I can get and typically work my regular job in the evenings so this provides a great morning routine for dogs whos owners typically work early mornings and through the day. I care for pets by using positive reinforcement when learning new skills and providing lots of attention and time outside so they do not develop bad behaviours in the home or in public.

I am great at following direction on your training cues and guidelines. I will love your animal as you do. I am looking to fill my schedule to accommodate your holidays, I work 830-3 till end of June then off for the summer months, before continuing my Monday to Friday job. I will offer care at pets home, and follow the owners rules of picking up after them and caring for your animal as the owner does.

“We had a last minute request for drop-in sessions for my brother’s Big Bully Baby, Benny. My brother was away snowboarding and Benny was staying with my father, but was just too much dog for my father to exercise as he is having health problems. I’m on the mainland and couldn’t help out but luckily found Emma here, and she was able to go out and walk Benny and play with him two days in a row to get Benny out in the fresh air and get some energy out of him. She really saved the day and Benny loved his time with her. I wasn’t sure if I would find someone comfortable with Benny’s size and breed (even though he’s a big softie) so to have her come play and be comfortable with him was an extra blessing.
