About: I’m Kim, a lifelong dog lover who has never known a home without a dog—until recently, when we said goodbye to our sweet girl, June, at 11 years old. Our home feels a little quieter these days, and we have so much love, care, and attention to give to other dogs. Caring for dogs is something I've done my entire life. I have experience with training, daily routines, and working with dogs with a variety of temperaments. I’m also very comfortable caring for senior dogs and those who need medication, extra patience, or a gentler pace. I volunteered as a dog handler with the Oregon Humane Society, where I completed their training and education program. That experience gave me a strong understanding of dog behavior, safety, and how to make dogs feel secure and supported in new environments. Our home is loving and family-oriented. My kids are gentle, respectful, and have grown up around dogs—they understand how to give them space, affection, and kindness. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just curling up somewhere cozy, we’ll make sure they feel safe and right at home. I’m a stay-at-home parent, and my husband also works from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone. There’s almost always someone here to provide attention, supervision, and companionship. Our schedule is flexible, and we’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and any special care needs to help them feel right at home. Our home is calm, clean, and supervised, and your dog will rarely be left alone. We have fenced yard but love to go in walks in the trails in our Royal Bay neighborhood. I focus on a safe, low-stress environment where your dog feels secure and loved.
