“Kelsey took very good care of my dog 🐶 she’s very kind and kept me in the loop on what my dog was up to throughout the days. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking to have her sit their fur babies! ❤️”

“Andrea was a great choice to watch Frank for the month that I traveled abroad with my family, She gave me constant updates and was able to cater to Frank's special needs (diabetes). Frank seemed really happy during his stay, so as a dog parent that made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Andrea and I will be using her services frequently in the future.”

“Even though my dog caused them a lot of trouble, Kevin&Kayla still loved my dog until the end. I'm grateful to them. They are very nice people. If they would allow me, I would like to ask them again.”

“We are so lucky to have found Criofan. Our dog had the time of his life roaming free on her fenced property, swimming and playing with other dogs. She took excellent care of Boris and we both highly recommend her and hope Boris has another opportunity to stay on “the farm” as we called it. She was very easy to work with, flexible, posy and communicative, sending us pics every day. Thank you, Criofan!!”

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my high-energy working dog! She was communicative, send awesome pictures throughout the stay, and was just wonderful in general. Thank you Michelle!”

“Louis hadn’t seen Iris for several months but once he saw her, he went crazy with excitement! I know that he is in the best care when he is with Iris and that he is super happy to spend time with her.”

“Vicki was very quick to respond and was able to accommodate our pup on short notice. Has a very large back yard for dogs to run and play, which is essential for longer boarding times. Will certainly use again. Thanks Vicki!”

“We had such a wonderful experience! Shravistha was incredibly flexible with scheduling and always so accommodating. Both she and her husband took amazing care of Alfie and treated her like she was part of their own family. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. She always replied to my messages promptly and kept me updated with photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious that Alfie was happy, comfortable, and truly well cared for. Shravistha is warm, kind, and genuinely loves dogs. Knowing Alfie was with her allowed us to completely relax while we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

“Pepper had a great stay with Anqian and Alexandre! Great communication back and forth, pictures were sent for updates, and instructions were followed promptly. Great choice for boarding!”

“Dani was great at caring for our pup Luna. From sending lots of photos to communicating as to how she was doing, we very much appreciated that level of communication and would definitely book again in the future! Thank you! :)”

“We had a wonderful experience with Michaela! Her familiarity with Frenchies immediately put my mind at ease, and it was clear she understood their unique personalities and needs. Michaela was also incredibly accommodating when we had a less than ideal schedule change and needed an early morning drop-off. We really appreciated her flexibility and kindness. Our dog was well cared for, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“We went to New Zealand for 6 weeks. Alisa looked after Lucy and sent us photos. Alisa communicated often and sent us photo’s of Lucy relaxing in the house, playing with Haiko and going on walks. If I asked any questions, Alisa responded quickly. I knew that Lucy was well looked after, and because of Alisa’s care we were never worried and could enjoy our time away. I will only use Alisa and family in future to look after Lucy. I recommend Alisa highly.”

“Heather and her family showed great care and affection to my dog! She sent updates and was thoughtful about adequate activity time and rest for my pooch recently entering her senior years :) Would definitely recommend and book Heather again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Victoria
My 2 babies spent 4 days with Christina and they had a blast! She is communicative, thoughtful, and took them on so many adventures! Every photo I could tell how happy they were, and they came back to me fully themselves, not out of sorts at all. We HIGHLY recommend and will absolutely book again if we are in the area. Thank you, Christina!

Olivia was great - I was confident that our dog, Ellie, was in good hands. I received regular images and updates to know things were going well. Ellie is very shy, and this can be tricky for sitters that don't appreciate that, but Olivia was great about understanding Ellie's needs, giving her a safe space, and getting her out of the house to nearby parks to explore.

Christy and Trevor were fantastic! They were so relaxed we felt comfortable and had great trust in them to take care of our puppy. Christy kept us in the loop the whole time sharing pictures and progress updates as our 11month old spent her first night away from us. We would certainly recommend and use them again :)

Iris did a great job with our bernedoodle. We left her with Iris for 17 days and she appeared content and well adjusted when we returned from our time away. Sona got along with Iris’ dog Ash, who is very friendly. Iris has a nice yard for the dogs to play in. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Iris. It is clear that she loves dogs and we are lucky to have found her.

I felt so comforted and safe leaving Tilly with Anqian, especially since Tilly had an unexpected surgery three weeks before Anqian took care of her. Anqian was very communicative, and sent pictures and updates. It was very evident from the pictures that Tilly was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed her time.

Our beagle had a wonderful time with Ida! And with her beautiful dog. So grateful to find Ida last minute. She gave us regular updates, and photos. They went for lots of walks and Eli really had a good time. Ida was super attentive and easy to communicate with and is a lovely human! Would highly recommend her!

My wife and I recently left our Obi with Lucas for a long weekend. It was our first foray into the world of Rover and we were not disappointed. Lucas was extremely professional from start to finish. He clearly loves animals of all types and we wouldn't hesitate using his services again.

Stacey is our go-to sitter for our corgi Valkyrie. Val has been enough times that at the most recent drop-off, she didn't even look back at us when we left haha. She always has a really good time, and my spouse and I have peace of mind knowing our dog is getting great care from someone we trust.

Madison was an absolute pleasure to work with. She kept me updated throughout my trip with regular photos and messages, which gave me such peace of mind. Her comfort and awareness of my dog's needs and medication made me feel confident that my pet was in caring, capable hands. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy my trip without worrying about my pet. I highly recommend Madison to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
