About: Hello! I’ve been taking care of dogs and pets my whole life, i’ve always had a dog and absolutely love them. I’m from a family of dog breeders and a grandma who loves showing dogs :) I’m very experienced with reactive dogs and various training methods, I do as much training with my dog as I can :) We do training separately and with a licensed trainer. I’m knowledgeable on training tools and triggers to dogs, and will do my best to make your dog as comfortable as possible while following your training method of choice :) I also have a lot of experience feeding various types of dog food, such as kibble/kibble toppers, freeze-dried, dehydrated & raw! My job allows me to know a lot about pet & dog nutrition and how to feed safely. I work part time at a pet store, pet care is my day to day work :) On my days off I spend Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday relaxing with my dog, going on walks, and doing training. My schedule is currently available for Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, and late night walks after 8pm on any other day. I would love to come check in on your dog or stay with them for the night, I’d love a schedule on what you expect me to do with your dog daily at your house, and am more than happy to do hourly walks & lots of playtime or whatever you see fit for your pet.

About: I'm just a big dork for animals. I have had plenty of different pets and rescues throughout my life living in rural Ontario, including raccoons, cats, a pig, rats, turtles and dogs. This cultivated a love for all animals but especially dogs. I have experience with puppies as well as senior pooches and understand the patience and compassion required to care for your fur babies. I currently have a rambunctious 5 year old mini labradoodle who is my whole heart. We would love company on our long neighborhood walks. I'm available most afternoons after 3 and all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My schedule is fairly flexible so I am happy to work around yours whenever possible. I have a small fenced front and back yard. I have a 5 year labradoodle, who lives here full time and a senior chaweeni who is a recurring character (over a few times a week). We go for walks often and to a fenced dog park every afternoon to socialize. I have a crate at home but my dog, Remy, tends to sleep on the couch or his bed on the floor.

“Since moving to the Island I have struggled to find a reliable dog-sitter for my French Bulldog, Nim. The kennels never offer enough 1-on-1 time that my "higher maintenance" Nim needs. A friend recommended Kristin to me because she also has a high energy smaller dog, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it's worked out so far! Kristin has made herself available for last minute dog-sitting at my apartment over long weekends, or the odd dog walk in the afternoon when I'm unable to leave work. I've trusted her enough to leave her a key to my place, and Nim clearly looks forward to his visits with Kristin :) I can't recommend Kristin enough to anyone who needs a responsible dog watcher for extended periods of time, or for shorter outings when the day just gets away from you. Nim also gives 4 paws out of 4!!!”
