About: Hi! I’m Sydney, and I’m new to Victoria but certainly not new to caring for animals! 🐾 I’ve cared for animals across Canada and abroad, including dogs, cats, horses and goats. In high school, I managed the baby barn on a goat farm, caring for around 200 baby goats, including feeding, providing vitamins and supporting those with mobility difficulties. While travelling, I’ve also cared for two dogs and three horses on a farm in Turkey, regularly walked a dog in Germany, and spent two months in Albania caring for a puppy through daily walks, feeding and socialization. In Canada, I’ve looked after dogs of all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies to senior dogs, as well as cats. I’m also a cat parent myself, and my cat is one of my favourite little companions! I genuinely LOVE animals, and it brings me so much joy to be someone pet owners can trust to care for their furry family members while they’re away. I know how important it is to find someone who treats your pets with patience, attention and love, and I want you to feel at ease knowing they’re in good hands. I had adopted her <5 weeks before Kate's walks and she is working through separation anxiety, recovering from a dog attack and learning new routines for walking, bathroom breaks and feeling safe.
