About: I have always wanted to look after animals since I was a kid. My husband and I fostered rescue dogs in Alberta to help get adopted. I have also cared for a variety of small caged animals over the years. As your house sitter, I will be present in your home for the entire duration of the stay. This is great if your pup does not like to be left alone. I am able to administer simple medications if needed. I am also able to care for small caged animals in my own home and we can discuss this arrangement if you are needing this service. House/pet sitting is my priority. When you hire me, I will not need to leave your residence for other employment. This is great if your pup does not like to be left alone. I will care for your pets following the daily routine that you have already established for them. If the pets are used to a morning walk then I will take them on a morning walk if that is preferred. If your pets are happy to simply play in their yard while you are away I would be happy to do that as well. I usually like to arrange a short meet and greet prior to the first overnight stay to familiarize myself with your pets and their home.
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 12. Growing up we had cats and dogs and it was my job in the family to walk our family's dogs. I've cared for puppies (including providing puppy training) and senior dogs. I'm happy to go for multi kilometer hikes, throw frisbees/balls in a field, or just cuddle on the couch. I also have experience looking after dogs with a variety of health issues and looking after their special needs (blindness, special diets etc). I currently work from home 4 out of the 5 days and my schedule is 8-4:30. During lunch or after work I am available to go for walks or check in as needed. On the weekends I have even more freedom for longer walks/hikes and time together. I do have 3 children (aged 5-13) every other week so the dog would have to be kid friendly for those weeks. My kiddos have been raised with dogs and would be extra friends for them to play with! I will care for the pets like they are my own. I currently have a senior pug named Hank and he spends most of his days sleeping so it would be great for him to meet new friends as well. Our daily routine would likely include letting them outside, feeding, going for walks/playing with dog toys, snuggling and unless the pet is crate trained, I would likely make them a bed for nighttime.
About: I’m 55, and a lifelong pet owner. I have two dog-friendly cats Octavia & Mario, and a sweet Chihuahua girl Bellamy. Having relied on pet sitters myself, I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy, responsible, and experienced sitter. Your pet's happiness, safety, and well-being are my top priorities. Whether it's catering to the needs of a senior dog, providing training for a lively puppy, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I approach each interaction with patience, compassion, and expertise. I take pride in maintaining the daily routines of the pets I care for, ensuring stability and comfort in their environment. Whether it's a home visit, doggy day care, or overnight stay in my home, your pet will receive personalized attention and plenty of love. ______________________________________________ ** Boarding (My home) - Dogs must be good with cats and not chase them.** ** House Sitting (Your home) - My Chihuahua comes with me. She’s quiet and very well-behaved.** ______________________________________________ Taking care of pets isn't just something I do on the side – it's my full-time job. I'm dedicated to them all day, every day. From morning to night, I focus on making sure they're well-fed, exercised, and content. Playing, cuddling, and giving them attention is what I do best because it's my passion and my only priority. With your pet's well-being in mind, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space conducive to their needs. Whether it's ensuring secure fencing in my yard for outdoor play or utilizing safe and reliable equipment during walks, I take every precaution to keep your pet protected. Additionally, I adhere strictly to any dietary or medical requirements, administering medications if needed, and providing a calm and nurturing environment.
About: Always had animals growing up, dogs and cats. I have two dogs and understand how busy life can be so let me help if I can! I am a part time nurse working with people with physical and intellectual disabilities. Looking to help others with busy lives manage their pets needs. If you would like your pet crated or in a certain area in your home, this will be done. Safety is the most important. One of my dogs is crated when we are not home, however the one is left free range in our home. Each animals care is individual and important for continuity.
About: As a dog owner myself I know the responsibilities, work and love that come with owning a dog. I would be sure to treat your dog as I do my own. Walks, treats and scratches daily are a must. I have just finished my maternity leave and am currently working part time so am looking for something to keep me active and busy through the week and on occasional weekends! I have a large fenced yard with a friendly energetic pitbull / boxer mix who would love to make friends with you and your dog.
“Etienne is awesome, he took care very well of Koa and Oliver. They were so happy after the walk. You can see that he loves dogs and understand them very much. Next time we come to Tofino we will definitely book him again.”

About: Note: I´m flexible and happy to travel (in BC/AB) - longer stays preferred. I can gladly provide excellent references from other Petsitting platforms (14 petsits). Feel free to reach out - I’d be happy to chat and share more! --------- I’ve had the chance to care for several homes and beloved pets in Canada since June 2025. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling experience so far, I have already worked with 10 workaway hosts on totally different projects, each stay was a unique experience. I take pride in being gentle, reliable, and tuned in to each animal’s unique personality. In September 2025, I spent an entire month volunteering at an animal farm sanctuary, where I learned a great deal about rescued animals and those with special needs. It was a deeply enriching experience that expanded my understanding of more than ten different farm animal species. I care deeply about treating every animal with respect and love, and I always take time to understand their unique personalities and needs. I´m a work and traveller from Germany, I finished my bachelors degree in business psychology in November 2025. I'm on the way to start my own remote business, so I´m very flexible about caring for your pets. As a traveling petsitter and workaway, I adapt quickly to new environments and routines. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, cuddles, or keeping the house clean and cozy, I treat every place as if it were my own. I love creating a calm and loving environment for pets while their owners are away, and I’m always happy to help with extra tasks like watering plants or garden work. Only smoke & vapefree households.
About: I have been caring for animals in general since I was 10 years old. I love petting them and taking care of them. I also love teaching them different ways to respond to calls and, above all, taking care of them as if they were another member of the family. I’m currently working Monday to Friday until 4PM, so I can be available after this and the whole weekend also. Just let me know when and I’ll be there. I prefer to take care of them in their own space or places that they use to walk or play. I know they can stress without having theirs routine. So I can move there whenever you need.

About: I treat all animals like they are my own which includes buying them treats and toys during long term stays or consistent drop in visits. I've been taking care of pets since I was 7 years old. I love getting to know animals personalities and building a special bond with them. I am used to giving pets medicine via pills and oral syringes. It's important to me that all pets get their exercise and are reinforced for positive behaviour. My partner Joshua often helps me with pet sitting when approved by the owners :) My schedule is extremely flexible! I often teach online or in person for 3 hours. My Partner Joshua has been helping me pet sit for over two years. The rest of my work can be done remotely which gives me a lot of extra time throughout the day to walk and play with your pets. It is important to me that I follow the detailed instructions left to me. Getting to know the animals personality is important because it helps make me and the animals comfortable. I like to provide pets with a chance to sniff me when we first meet, as well as give them treats and pets to help them trust me. Spending regular time with your pets helps them develop trust. I am used to cleaning up after animal accidents. Lastly, I always leave your home cleaner than how I found it :)
About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, space, and attention I can give your dog. I work from home every day, which means your pup won’t be left alone for long periods and can enjoy multiple walks throughout the day. I have a large fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and get exercise, plus I live near great trails in Saanich and a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for long walks and outdoor time. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and previously owned a German Shepherd Malamute Husky., so I’m very comfortable handling and caring for larger breeds as well as high-energy dogs. I understand their needs for exercise, structure, and attention. I’m also happy to stick closely to your dog’s routine. Whether it’s feeding at specific times, crate training, or maintaining their normal schedule, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. You’ll also receive regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is to keep your dog happy, healthy, and well cared for until you’re back home. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and spend a lot of time outdoors. This allows me to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I usually structure the day around multiple walks, playtime in my large fenced backyard, and relaxing time indoors. I also live near great trails in Saanich and a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for safe, enjoyable walks. I’m used to following a dog’s regular routine, including feeding schedules, crate time if needed, and exercise. Because I’m home most of the day, I can keep a close eye on your dog and make sure they’re comfortable, active, and well cared for. Providing updates to owners is also part of my routine, so you’ll always know how your dog is doing while you’re away. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and part of the household. Because I work from home, your dog will get lots of attention, regular bathroom breaks, and multiple walks throughout the day. I also have a large fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and burn off energy. I like to keep dogs on their normal routine as much as possible. I follow feeding schedules, crate routines if needed, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise and rest. Living near trails and a quiet neighborhood also allows for great outdoor walks. I’ve had dogs my whole life and previously owned a German Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. My goal is to keep your dog happy, active, and relaxed while you’re away. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure their pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I’ll follow all instructions closely, keep their routine consistent, and provide regular updates so you know your pet is doing well.

About: Hello! My name is Isabella and I’m originally from Mexico. I’ve grown up in a home surrounded by dogs, which sparked my lifelong passion for caring for animals. I just graduated from Ecology at Thompson Rivers University and I’m also an active volunteer at local animal shelters. These experiences have deepened my understanding of animal behaviour and well being. I have over 7 years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter, working with a wide range of breeds—from small, energetic pups to larger, strong dogs like Labradors. My top priority is always the well-being, safety, and happiness of your pet. I love going for long walks, playing, and making sure each pet feels loved and secure in my care. I am happy to look after your dog in your home to ensure the health and safety of all animals I look after. I’m excited to meet your furry friend and promise to keep you updated with photos and videos while you're away! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine as I have all weekdays and weekend free. As a recent graduate, I am currently looking for a job so I will be home all day taking care of your furry ones. My previous experience in my Mom's dog sitting company has given me the tools to provide the best possible care of the furry pets. I provide food, fresh water, and any medications needed at appropriate times, following the given schedule to optimise the pet’s wellbeing. I also personalise the care for each pet, taking into consideration their age, health conditions, energy levels, etc. I like to keep them entertained by playing with them and taking them on walks if agreed with you first. My walks always prioritise safety, providing the best experience possible for you and your pets. Letting them take their time while smelling plants and nature is crucial to ensure they enjoy the most. I offer on leash and off leash walks depending on your personal preference.
