About: Lover of all animals. Throughout my life, I’ve owned and helped care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, and even reptiles! I grew up with dogs, have dog sat for family and friends throughout my teens, and have provided casual care for friends’ dogs in my adult life. Though I haven’t had the space for a dog of my own yet, I hope to adopt someday. In the meantime, I figured pet sitting would be the next best thing! As for cats, I have cared for my own the past 9 years. I love cats just as much as dogs while understanding the behavioural differences between the two. I live in the West Shore, but commute downtown a couple of times a week for work, allowing me flexibility for drop ins and walks whether you’re in the West Shore yourself or downtown. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 3 indoor cats and caring for my grandparents German Shepherds. I fostered many dogs and cats with my roommates in University, and worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2+ years. I’ve rescued a senior dog from the SPCA (who since passed) and now have a 3.5yr Rottweiler. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can make myself available at anytime needed to provide care for your pets. A typical day with my dog consists morning potty, breakfast, long walk, indoor mental play time, supper, outside potty and more play time. It’s not uncommon to go for off-leash walks in a park. Another activity we enjoy is mental enrichment - either a mind game with treats or frozen kong. I have a condo in Westhills. There are many parks and trails nearby.
