About: I may not have a dog of my own, but I treat my landlady’s pup like family - playtime, care, and cuddles included! I respect routines, instructions, and your pet’s unique needs. This summer, I’m available every Monday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturdays from 9:00 Am to 8:00 PM. I’d love to be your dog’s new favorite buddy! I keep the area clean and safe. I remove things and food that can hurt the pet. I close doors or gates, follow their routine, and watch them carefully.
About: I have 4 dogs at home that vary from small to medium. 2 are seniors, so I know how to be patient with them. The others are younger so I know how to tire them out when they have tons of energy. I’m a full-time student so weekends work best for me, but I am available on Mondays After 2:30pm and on Thursdays! I’m not a fan of late night walks just for my own safety. I don’t let my own dogs off leash, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it with yours. I know when to keep a dog close to me when walking on narrow paths/crossing streets etc. If there is anything I must know about your pups before committing to the care of them I’d absolutely appreciate it!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my family my whole life—my adoration of dogs and other pets is a big part of who I am. I have experience taking care of family-friend’s pets, with a minimum of 1 long walk or 2 short walks per day rain or shine. Several pets I have taken care of in the past have had dietary restrictions, so that is a request I can confidently accommodate. I find that all pets (even the shy ones) enjoy my presence and I take great pride in understanding their temperament and needs. While my experience with puppies and senior dogs is minimal, I am constantly learning new things volunteering at the SPCA. I am currently working part-time on Friday and Saturday nights, but otherwise I have an open schedule! If you are located close to my work, I can always drop by on my break and let your pet out for some air. There are many parks nearby that I can take your dog to! I also have a fenced back yard, but do not currently own a crate. I am happy to supply enrichment activities and toys though! In my clients homes, I care for your dog just as you would, as I find new routines can sometimes cause further stress to your pet. I also take pride in my cleanliness and will leave your home as clean as I arrived.

“Mell isn’t just a pet sitter—she’s the person you hope exists when you have to leave your fur baby behind. My cat Max, who is incredibly loving with me but definitely has “selective affection” for others, adopted Mell—and right away too! That is not something Max does usually. Max curled up in Mell’s lap, loved playtime together and basically decided Mell was part of the family. Max honestly acted like Mell was me when I was out of town and that was the BEST feeling ever. It made it so much easier for me to enjoy time away knowing my cat wasn’t just being looked after—she was being loved. And not the “feed her and clean the litter box” kind of love (though yes, Mell is so good with all of that with care and consistency)—but the real, thoughtful, warm kind. Cuddles, attention, playtime, and even little updates and photos that made me feel totally at peace. Mell is trustworthy, kind, intuitive, and has this natural, grounded energy that animals are just drawn to. Also, the dogs in the house that I lived with LOVED Mell more than words can even describe.
