About: I have had animals both cats and dogs my entire life. I am able to do some manners and follow normal sit stay heel guidelines and medicate. I have experience with subcutaneous injections as well( insulin and vitamins). I will love your animals as my own. I work afternoons between 4-8 and weekends 1-8. I will have plenty of time to spend with them walking playing and feeding ensuring they have been taken care of. They will be walked, played with and cuddled. I will follow your directions and am able to medicate and follow complex care plans. I have had both large and small dogs. In addition I have had reactive dogs so can understand and manage there needs safely.

About: I have had animals my entire life and have been extremely involved in training and ensuring they get the best care possible! I have done a lot of dog training in reactivity, separation anxiety, and use positive reinforcement to ensure that the relationship between me and my pet(s) is built on love and trust. With every new pet, I let them approach me and I build a foundation of trust so that obedience is not something forced but given! I work part time but I have blocked out those days so that it won’t interfere, but other wise I work 7 hour shifts so if your pet is staying when I am working, they would have to be comfortable being home alone for those hours I care for my pets by using positive reinforcement and consistency. Consistency is key and is very beneficial for ensuring my pets can succeed in all aspects of their lives. I understand dog body language and know when to approach, let them be, or let them come to me. It’s about listening to boundaries, just like with us humans!

About: I grew up with lots of dogs, and bunnies too. I have cared for dogs my whole life as my mom took in strays. I am very attentive and personable with animals and they can sense that. I believe exercise is really important for an animals wellbeing. Also, dogs need lots of attention and social interaction so that they can thrive in their families and with other dogs. About: Hello, we’re Karly and Brent. We offer a safe and welcoming home environment for dogs, in our ground-level suite with direct, walk-out access to a fully fenced backyard, which allows us to have exclusive door-to-yard access for seamless potty breaks and supervised playtime. We are conveniently located just five minutes from Thetis Lake and Mill Hill, providing excellent opportunities for outdoor activity and exploration. Animals have always been an important part of our lives. Karly grew up with a loyal yellow Labrador, and Brent was raised in a home filled with beloved family pets. Today, we share our home with Ace, our beautiful five-year-old Goldendoodle. We have dedicated significant time to his training and development. Ace is a well-behaved and very social. He loves all other dogs and animals. We both work from home Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which allows us to provide consistent supervision and companionship. Each morning we go for a 30 to 45 minute walk and in the evenings we prioritize walking ace for 1 to 2 hours. On weekends, we spend much of our time exploring the mountains and trails of Vancouver Island, often seeking out new local hikes. We truly enjoy welcoming other dogs into our home. Socialization, regular exercise, and individualized care are priorities for us. Our goal is to ensure that every dog in our care feels safe, relaxed, well-exercised, and completely at home. I am currently working full time 8:15 to 4:30pm with a flex day every other Monday. I am available in the mornings before work or the evenings after work as well as on Flex-Mondays, and Saturday and Sunday all day. We live in a beautiful 2 bedroom garden suite in the lower half of a home we own with our family. Our home has full walk out access to a fenced backyard. We are also a 5 minute walk to the Thetis lake and Mill Hill, and a 5 minute drive to a dog a park.
