A cozy, cuddly home away from home
I've been taking care of animals since I was 12. Growing up we had cats and dogs and it was my job in the family to walk our family's dogs. I've cared for puppies (including providing puppy training) and senior dogs. I'm happy to go for multi kilometer hikes, throw frisbees/balls in a field, or just cuddle on the couch. I also have experience looking after dogs with a variety of health issues and looking after their special needs (blindness, special diets etc).

Great first experience overall! Communication was prompt and clear. I would book again and recommend Alanna to other pet parents!
Alanna and her family took wonderful care of my Ellie. It was very hard for me to leave her with someone, but they made me feel completely at ease. Alanna was very accommodating with meet and greets and kept great communication while Ellie was with her, always sending photos and updates. She truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful.
Alanna took excellent care of our older dog. She was very attentive and took care to work with our dog’s old lady quirks. She sent photos and our dog also seemed to very much enjoy hanging out with Alanna’s older pug who was very sweet. Would absolutely have Alanna watch our pup again in the future without hesitation.
Alanna was awesome and made my dog feel right at home! I got lots of pictures and plenty of updates which made me feel reassured that she was doing great!
Woody was very comfortable staying with Alanna! Alanna sent us photos and a video during the day, reporting on his activity. She had an old pug so the two old guys kept each other and Alanna company all day. Alanna was very flexible and accommodating of the day care—I recommend her totally!

Programa
I currently work from home 4 out of the 5 days and my schedule is 8-4:30. During lunch or after work I am available to go for walks or check in as needed. On the weekends I have even more freedom for longer walks/hikes and time together. I do have 3 children (aged 5-13) every other week so the dog would have to be kid friendly for those weeks. My kiddos have been raised with dogs and would be extra friends for them to play with!

I will care for the pets like they are my own. I currently have a senior pug named Hank and he spends most of his days sleeping so it would be great for him to meet new friends as well. Our daily routine would likely include letting them outside, feeding, going for walks/playing with dog toys, snuggling and unless the pet is crate trained, I would likely make them a bed for nighttime.

We'll go for walks, hikes, or play fetch in the local field/parks, I'll take them through my daily activities if I'm working from home, we'll cuddle on the couch and read or watch TV.
