About: Growing up on a farm, I developed a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds. I've lived with cats my entire life, and my extended family always had dogs—so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for both. Whether it was feeding, bathing, or taking dogs on long walks during family gatherings, I’ve always been the go-to pet helper. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to keeping pets happy and healthy. I monitor water bowls daily, provide fresh water, and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise—whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a long hike to leave them happily tuckered out. I work a hybrid 8-4 schedule, so days I WFH can be worked in your space (if wanted) or I can come by on lunch breaks and after work. I am free after 5pm on days in office. On Friday's after 5pm and open all day on weekends and am more than welcome to staying to play and take outside In my own space, we have a balcony that my cat loves going outside on. While Bean does not have any harness training, I did put up garden fence edging to block her in so she cannot stick herself under the balcony. When she goes outside, I also go outside to ensure no funny business happens. My cat back home in Ontario with my parents (who is in my photo) was harness trained as we got her at 10 weeks. Gucci was harness trained as she was so small and wanted to always come outside, she wore a snag-free collar with a bell because she was so quiet. When she did come outside, we literally put a stake in the ground and put her leash around it so she could only go in a circle. as she got older we let her explore with us outside until we trusted her without the harness. Now that she's old, she just comes outside and lays in the sun but always has someone there to watch her as she still is a cat and has a love of thinking the grass is greener everywhere else.
“I cannot say enough amazing things about Amy. She is the sweetest with my kitty cat and always sends me pictures and video updates. Amy is just lovely and would absolutely recommend her 10/10 every time!!! Thank you Amy ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Hope has a unique gift with animals where they feel relaxed with her. Our cat was instantly taken by her care and kindness to him. We are incredibly lucky to have Hope’s support to provide such good care to all our pets. 😻”

“Airan is FANTASTIC!! SO good with our dog!! Also a lovely person to chat with and knows a lot about dogs/ animal behaviours. I do recommend her services and I will continue to use her as our preferred rover.”

“Sarah continues to care for our senior Airedale, Zeiss, regularly and so thoughtfully. We know he is looked after so well when we’re gone for long hours! Sarah always sends lots of pictures about their time together too, which is a nice bonus!”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets for friends and neighbors. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit dog walks in throughout the day. I’m typically available on weekdays, with some evening and weekend availability as well. I do my best to accommodate your dog’s routine and keep things consistent for them. I care for every pet as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety and comfort. “Our cat is healthy, happy, and cheerful. Kaitlyn is kind, communicative, and amazing with our elderly and medicine requiring cat. We’re repeating clients of Kaitlyn and don’t intend to stop.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with our cat sitter. She was incredibly communicative, attentive, and took amazing care of our cats. She even managed to win over our most shy kitty on her very last visit — no small feat! We would absolutely be happy to book her again and highly recommend her to others.”

“This was my second time booking with Chantelle, and once again everything was fantastic! She took wonderful care of the boys, kept me updated, and gave me complete peace of mind while we were away. It's such a relief knowing they're in such caring and reliable hands. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and have years of experience helping my partner with dog-sitting. I’m patient, reliable, and love spending time with all kinds of dogs — from energetic puppies to calm seniors. I offer in-home dog sitting, dog boarding at your place or mine, and daily walks. Whether your pup needs playtime, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I currently work full-time from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, so I can care for dogs who are comfortable being alone during that time. I’m fully available on weekends to spend the whole day with them. My partner, does dog-sitting full time and is available several days a week to help care for your pups if needed. She usually walks the pups on the days that I am working. 🌿 A calm and safe environment for your pups I have a fenced yard where dogs can stretch their legs safely, but I also love going for walks several times a day so they can explore and get plenty of exercise. The atmosphere at home is calm and caring — perfect for dogs who like to feel comfortable and relaxed. If your dog is used to being in a crate, that’s totally fine too — I’m happy to follow their routine so they feel right at home. 🐾

Michelle took great care of our cats — her check-ins were on time, and our cats were so at ease with her. Really appreciated her care, especially with our cats who have special needs. We were able to relax while we were away, knowing our cats were well taken care of.

Wonderful experience with Jane’s drop in visits for our little feline family. She clearly cares for animals, taking the time to earn their trust, and made sure they were comfortable and well taken care of. Great communication. Would happily and unreservedly recommend.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my pet-sitting experience with Danielle! She took such great care of my cat while I was on vacation - I did not worry about him for even a second! She provided excellent communication through texts, pictures, and videos. She took the time to answer my questions and was flexible to meet with us before booking. It was clear my cat trusted and adored her! I will 100% use Danielle’s services in the future. Thank you so much, Danielle!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
