“This was our first time using Rover. Connecting with Carys to provide care for our two cats was a great experience for us. We found her to be very communicative, kind and punctual. We really appreciated the pictures and updates that she sent us to let us know how things were going. We would highly recommend Carys for anybody looking for care for their animals.”

“So grateful that Shelley was available for me to fly out for my mom's funeral, I didn't have to worry about anything. It was our first time together, I'm sure kitties will see her again. She gave the "problem child" the extra attention he needed.”

“Jillian is such a sweetheart, and my girl Roxy really seems to like her. She stayed with Roxy while my partner and I went out for dinner as Roxy has separation anxiety and Roxy was chill and slept while we were gone! Would recommend Jillian to anyone!”

“We had a last minute request for drop-in sessions for my brother’s Big Bully Baby, Benny. My brother was away snowboarding and Benny was staying with my father, but was just too much dog for my father to exercise as he is having health problems. I’m on the mainland and couldn’t help out but luckily found Emma here, and she was able to go out and walk Benny and play with him two days in a row to get Benny out in the fresh air and get some energy out of him. She really saved the day and Benny loved his time with her. I wasn’t sure if I would find someone comfortable with Benny’s size and breed (even though he’s a big softie) so to have her come play and be comfortable with him was an extra blessing. Thank you so much!!”

About: Hey cute dogs and responsible dog owners! I am a german dog trainer and I miss working with dogs so much! Since I am here in Canada, I work part-time from home and unfortunately I am not allowed to have an own dog, where I live. For the past 8 years I worked with more than 45 dogs and I fostered more than 30 dogs in my own home in Germany (mostly rescues). I used to worked with three german animal protection associations as well. My specialties are: - leash pulling issues - creating a better bond and relationship between dog and owner - behavior in general - issues at home I can´t wait to meet you and your dog! I work part-time in my own business at home, so I am able to organize my own times, when I work. But ideal is after 11:30 am. I know, how to read dogs. I work with dogs all my life, even as a kid, I worked with dogs at german dog parks. I was the youngest trainer in my town, who ever worked with dogs. And mostly, I often like dogs better than humans - to be honest. Dogs are just amazing. I will always take care about the safety of the animal, that - for me - is job one. Also I won´t give anything to the pet (treats, toys), that I haven´t talked through with the owner beforehand.

This means I will be multi tasking between computer work and phone calls, while also ensuring your animals are loved and cared for like they were my own by providing them care, feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks. Please provide parking and a WIFI password on the counter as I require internet access to work from home. Thank you! :) Drop Ins and Walks only offerred Mon-Fri after 5pm, and Weekends anytime. **Not offering care in my home at this time. House sitting and walks are done for ONE household at a time, for safety purposes. “We chose Sarah because of her very positive reviews. There was even a review that stated she sprawled out on thin ice to save a dog from drowning. After Sarah took care of our two cats ,I totally believe that. Sarah was given the difficult task of injecting our 16 year old cat with insulin. Unfortunately, our cat was not cooperating, Sarah contacted us immediately. Her concern for Sox was obvious. She stayed until the situation was resolved. Dependability is the cornerstone of a person who should act as a rover sitter. Based on that, we will definitely have Sarah sit for our cats again.”

The median cost per visit for cat sitting in North Saanich is $25

Shelley was great for checking in on Owen & Lewis. She clearly has the 'cat touch', as she is very calm & patient with them. Thank you Shelley for helping us out (especially so last minute) - the boys will definitely be excited to have you again in the future :)

Helen is amazing! She really helped us out with pet-sitting our cat when in a tight spot and on short notice. I definitely felt confident Koi was in good hands while we were gone. I almost think Koi was a little disappointed when we returned home, hoping we were Helen instead 😅 thanks so much again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
