Anna Maria did another excellent job caring for our cats while we were away. She is reliable, caring, and attentive to their needs, including special feeding and medication routines. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our cats are in such capable hands. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and everything was in perfect order. This is the second time we have entrusted our cats to Anna Maria, and once again she exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Anna Maria to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.

Jennifer is absolutely amazing and most definitely a cat whisperer! Our dear cat is very nervous and shy but Jennifer had her feeling so safe and comfortable. Jennifer was able to offer such generous care and updates to us, navigate our cat's medication and made sure she was safe during a heat wave! Above all Jennifer is simply a kind and thoughtful person and we are very grateful to have had her to look after our cat. I cannot recommend Jennifer highly enough!

Lauren provided me with daily updates on how Pigeon was doing, which was wonderful and put my mind at ease. Lauren was professional, kind and my cat loved her! About: I've always been around dogs all my life, I can barely think of a time when I wasn't sharing a space with a dog of some kind. I've spent time traveling and house/farm sitting for a variety of people with all kinds of animals, and always enjoy taking care of someone's beloved dog. I would say I have a natural connection to animals in general, and dogs tend to behave well with me without the need of raising my voice or energy to get them to listen. I love going for walks and hikes with adventurous dogs or just hanging out with a senior dog that just wants to relax or only wants short walks for fresh air. I work part time so just give me notice and complete information about what you need and I can be fairly flexible with my schedule! I'm a trustworthy and tidy person who respects others space and is willing to accommodate any specific request of clients with regards to how they would like their pets taken care of.

About: Hey all you Pet Parents! Leaving your babies with someone you don't know can be terrifying, and to be honest, I was never able to leave my baby in a daycare - So I totally know what you are feeling right now! I will make sure they know how much they are loved, and I will always send pictures and updates to put your mind at ease! Each and every fur baby is the most special, and I always make sure they know that. My name is Hanna and animals are truly my life. I have spent my entire life spending as much time as possible with ALL types of animals. For me, growing up it was Dogs and Horses... Not only was I completely obsessed - but I was also the neighbourhood dog walker/babysitter. We lived in a fairly safe area, and most people would let their dogs have free roam. That being said, if they ever couldn't find their dogs, they were usually hanging out with 5 year old me, in my yard, or my bed. I began volunteering part time in barns and stables at the age of 7 years old. Every weekend I was taking care of all the barnyard animals, sheep, pregnant cats, injured ducks, birthing cows, nursing horses - you name it. During this time I also volunteered at the local SPCA, playing and brushing all the animals, and walking the dogs. As I grew older, I became the go-to in my neighbourhood whenever pets needed extra attention. I had two dogs on my street alone that needed regular medical support, and their owners weren't fully comfortable administering medication. One needed regular insulin injections, and one had part time subcutaneous pain management, that turned into full-time geriatric support I would help with. I was also the go-to when they couldn't take their babies on vacation with them, both in my parents house (Sorry Mom and Dad) and at their owners home. At the age of 13 I was on payroll with an elite Hunter/Jumper barn. I was part of a team that cared for 27 high performance show horses, with the most expensive horse in the barn being worth 1.2 million dollars (He happened to also be the best cuddler.) I stayed with this stable all through the rest of grade school until I went to Pharmacy school. Working with this team is still, to this day, the best working experience I have had in my life. Currently, I have the most wonderful Staffy mix, and he is truly my "soul dog". He is 8 years old and the biggest sweety pie ever, my Mother calls him "the marshmallow". We have recently signed up to be volunteers with St. John's, so that we can visit patients and eventually students who could use a dose of happiness. He loves other dogs, and kids, or anyone that will talk to him - and he will gladly share me with anyone we have in our home. I have both the passion, and the experience to give your babies not only the love they deserve, but also the care that they need while you are away, either at work or on vacation. If you have any questions at all, please reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Take Care xo I own my own business so I am very flexible with time, and absolutely love being able to switch gears, get some fresh air with the dogs and give my brain a break! I am extremely professional and will follow your directions for how you’d like your dog (and me) to behave in the home - consistency is important! I have had multiple clients give me their keys or door codes to come and go with absolutely no concerns, I’m only there for your pets! My home has a very large fenced yard where your pet can safely explore to their hearts content. I am very comfortable with all animals, and am able to uphold any training regimens you may have (including e-collars, alternative collars etc)

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
