About: I am a BC certified Service Dog trainer with over 12 years experience. I am available to share my calm and loving time with your beloved animal companion either in my home or in yours as a house sitter. I am retired with very few demands on my time. I train only one (full-time, live-in) service dog at a time so my hours are completely flexible. NOTE: MY CURRENT SERVICE DOG-IN-TRAINING IS ABOUT TO GO ON TO ADVANCED TRAINING/PLACEMENT. I WILL BE RECEIVING A NEW PUPPY AND SO WILL BE UNAVAILABLE AT LEAST UNTIL ITS 17 WEEK VACCINATION, AND PERHAPS LONGER. SEE YOU IN JULY. Safety first! I've seen her many times with dogs and trust her completely, so we arranged 'dog walk trades' where we would take turns with each others' dogs, thus allowing for longer walks for the dogs... My pup always came home very happy! There's not that many people I trust to take care of my dog, but she is certainly one of them, and I have no doubt that she will devote the same love and care into any pet, no matter how long she's known them.”

About: I have taken care of not only my own animals, as I grew up on a farm, but neighbours, and friends over the years. I have cared for all types of animals and have owned dogs, cats and horses. I have animal first aid, am a retired hygienist so can do injections. Available starting November 2023, I am open to travel on Vancouver Island to any location. Currently booked from December 10th to 22nd, but available for the rest of December 2023. I am interested in providing care in your home only. I own a jeep so have transportation which can accommodate all sizes of dogs if required. If you require dog walking, I am an active senior and work out at the gym regularly so will be able to keep up with your dog if they are very energetic.
