We’ve just moved to the city from a remote area, our dog Suka is having a difficult time adjusting to the sights, smells and sounds, but Eunice is doing great work with her. About: I love spending time with animals and caring for pets brings me true joy. Back home, my husband and I have a lively team of five mischiefs: three senior dogs, one young dog, and a cat. Although we couldn’t bring them with us when we moved to Canada, they are in great hands with our family. My husband and I are here to provide love and care to your furry companions as to our own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or providing care, We’ll ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I am working part time and can choose my own schedule for taking care of your pets. I am available every day except for some specific days. Sometimes I’ll be taking care of your pet together with my husband, as we both enjoy spending time with dogs and cats. Feel free to ask and get to know us:) I provide care for pets in the comfort of their own home, ensuring they feel safe and secure in their familiar environment. My services include: • Feeding and Fresh Water: Making sure your pet stays nourished and hydrated according to their regular schedule. • Exercise and Playtime: Engaging in walks, play sessions, or other activities to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. • Litter Box and Clean-Up: Keeping their living space clean by managing litter boxes or cleaning up any accidents. • Medication Administration: If your pet requires medication, I can administer it responsibly and as directed. • Companionship and Comfort: Spending quality time with your pet to reduce loneliness and ensure they feel loved while you’re away. • Routine Maintenance: Ensuring their bedding, toys, and feeding areas are tidy and in good condition. • Safety Checks: Monitoring your pet’s well-being and ensuring their environment remains hazard-free.

5. Nina D.

“I've been friends with Nina for over 3 years now. We met at the dog park across the street from our house. Nina and I share the love of animals especially dogs. She watches my dog Maxine a 4 year old Boston Terrier anytime I need doggy sitting. Max loves Nina and is always lavishing her with kisses. Nina would be a perfect candidate for dog sitting for Rover. She is a very caring, responsible and trusting individual. If there is any more information i can supply you with just let me know :) Thanks!”

The second time she came to my home she looked after the 2 Jack Russel brothers and 2 new Doberman sisters. She is an excellent pet/home sitter. She will clean up the house and walk the pets if required. She is responsible and trust-worthy (bondable) and I would highly recommend her services to anyone.”

12. Jen & Graeme W.
About: Loving and caring family home in Steveston! My husband and I have been dog owners for the last 18 years to a wonderful pup who just recently passed away. We miss him dearly and are looking for a little furry love back in our home! We raised our dog for 18 years as well as have grown up with dogs our whole lives. Our home has a large, fully fenced yard with locking gate and we are a 5-minute walk from a park and dog-park. In case of emergencies we live 2 minutes from our family vet. Our 8 year-old son is full of energy for those pups looking to play and run or just chill and snuggle. They will be walked twice a day and will never be left alone for more than 2-4 hours at a time. We are also happy to take your dog with us to the beach or on other outings if you are comfortable with that. The main care for your pet will be provided by myself as well as my husband Graeme. We can assure you that your pet will be loved and taken care of as if it were our own. What we require: - fully potty trained (unless a puppy) - ZERO aggression towards children - all food and medication schedules written out in detail - dog’s own bed, leash and poop bags provided. Currently my husband works from home 3 days a week and I am a teacher and will be at home all day during the months of July and August. Twice daily walks provided with additional outside time in our backyard and lots of play and cuddles! We currently have no pets of our own and have a home with a large, fully fenced yard with high fence and locked gate. Dogs are welcome to sleep downstairs in our living room or with us in our room. Lots of love and pets for your family poochz

16. Kelsey S.
About: I’m basically a dog’s personal assistant—walking, cuddling, and managing their snack schedules like a pro! I love them all, from the youngies to the oldies (like my boy). Throughout the years I've seen a bit of everything! As a nursing student, pet care is my stress relief! I can balance my studies with dog walks, puppy playtime, and some quiet cuddles with senior dogs. Plus, I get to practice patience and care, which is basically nursing 101 with fur! I can be available when needed :) For client homes, I keep everything as close to their routine as possible. I stick to feeding times, play sessions, and even monitor their favourite TV shows (I swear, dogs have a favourite channel!). Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or playtime, I treat every pet like they’re my own—because they are, just for a little while!

17. Katrina E.

19. Morvena M.

“Super reliable and so kind to our kitties - including our shy one who takes a few days to appear. I never worry about them while we’re gone - Morvena does a great job. Grateful!”

About: Hi There, I discovered house sitting by moving on Salt Spring Island in 2010, British Columbia, Canada. Since then, I have house sit 20 times in winter and summer, I have worked with many cats, dogs like German Sherperd, Labrador, Teacup Poodles, Springer Spaniels, Braque and farm animals like chicken, goat, sheep. I have lived on a Organic Horse's Farm too. In 2000, I was a walker for a braque breeds in Eastbourne, Britain. We were going at the Seven Sisters for walking on the beaches and on the hill. Since, I always appreciate all the moment walking with a dog. In 2012, I have started housesitting by inviting my parents to the housing guess Cusheon Cove B&B on Salt Spring. We went many times hiking Mount Maxwell, Ruckle Provincial Park and Reginald Hill regularly as much as going at the beach of Burgoyne Bay. Sometime too with my landlord Labrador. That's how my journey of house sitter began. In 2017, I have been every day and more than once a day for walking, running and swimming adventures with my mother dog and Cedar to Conroy Pit Park, David Bartley Park and Bruce Pit Park south of Ottawa. Good to let the two dogs socialised with hundred of other unleashed dogs. Amazing Parks of multiple scenery. I am thankful to Lori Ann to gave me the chance to enjoy the suburb of Ottawa. Non-smoker, driver’s licence and a 2012 criminal record check for Marine Search and Rescue Salt Spring Island, BC, which I joined to spend time on Sun Shine Coast Waters. And got a 2021 criminal record check from Les Autobus la Montréalaise at my job as a School bus driver. My previous education in Québec is BAC in Linguistic, DEC in international administrative and gardening DEP. Recently, I have been school bus driver in Quebec and a family helper between 2016 to 2021. I am comfortable doing property watching, mail collecting, and light landscaping. Further, I have personal transportation available. I have extensive experience and hope to continue on that field. I am reestablishing to SSI this June 2022. Cordialement, Nadine Shoot me a message and I should reply shortly. ———————————————————————————— My work is house sitter, I have plenty of time during the day to take care at your love one.
