About: ✨ Introductory Offer — Limited Time Special introductory rates for new clients as I get started with pet sitting! ✨ ✔️Complimentary round-trip pickup & drop-off is also available for clients in Tsawwassen and Point Roberts with bookings of 4 days or more. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From an early age, I learned to appreciate their individual personalities, respect their boundaries, and recognize when they need attention, space, exercise, or simply some quiet time. While living in South Korea, I volunteered extensively with Dasom Rescue( in Seoul, Non-Profit Organization), caring for rescued dogs from a wide range of backgrounds and with many different personalities. I also volunteered as a flight companion volunteer, helping approximately 20 rescued dogs travel from South Korea to their new families in the United States and Canada. Today, I have two dogs of my own, rescued dog from Kill Shelter in Korea, whom I truly consider part of my family. I’m attentive to their daily routines, including walks, feeding, dental care, brushing, and supplements. As a dog mom myself, I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with your babies. Our dogs are family, and choosing the right person to care for them isn’t something we take lightly. That’s why I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your dog will be treated with the same care, attention, and love that I would want for my own. ✔️ I’m home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I don’t have another job that takes me away from home. which means I can spend plenty of time with the dogs in my care and give them lots of attention throughout the day. ✔️ I also live right next to a beautiful park, so it’s easy to take dogs out for regular walks, fresh air, and potty breaks. Dogs are always kept safely leashed and supervised while we’re outside. 🐾. I can also adjust my routine to match your dog’s usual schedule as closely as possible, so they can feel comfortable and at home during their stay. 🐾❤️ ✔️I only care for one dog at a time, or a maximum of two, so , I can give each dog plenty of individual attention. ✔️ your dog does not have to share their space with a resident dog. If your dog prefers to be alone, my two dogs will stay with their dad at another house, so I can provide your dog with a peaceful, comfortable, and fully separate home environment during their stay. I’m especially careful to always know where the dogs are and to maintain a safe environment. I make sure there’s nothing within reach that they could accidentally eat or get into, and I always make sure their harnesses and leashes are secure. ✔️As a dog owner, I understand how important cleanliness is to your pet’s health and comfort. I maintain a clean, fresh, and welcoming environment, with sanitized floors, fresh bedding, and a comfortable space for every dog in my care. ✔️Dogs are always leashed and supervised outside, even for quick potty breaks. Our home is quiet and surrounded by nature, and I can provide a separate space for dogs who prefer some quiet time or need to be on their own. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s usual routine and any special instructions you provide to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. 🐾
“Ben had a great time at daycare! There was playing with other dogs, hiking, and nap time when everyone was tired. Tiana is the best at sending pics! Thanks so much for taking such good care of our boy!”

“Bee was absolutely great with Takaya! He and Vec had the run of the yard, were well-matched in energy levels, and Bee sent me lots of cute pics and videos of them playing and adoring each other.”

About: I have had cats or dogs my whole life. I’d love to make your travel easier by caring for your beloved fur babies while you are away from home. I work from home and can rearrange my schedule during the day to stop in and take your pets out for potty breaks or a quick walk or cuddles. I don’t currently have pets in my home, so if your pets overnight here, they will have my full attention. I live in Sidney very close to walking paths and parks for walks and playtime.
About: We’ve always had dogs and currently have three rescue pups of our own. Over the years we’ve cared for dogs with all kinds of personalities, from confident social butterflies to dogs that need a little more time to warm up. We know every dog is different and do our best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family while they’re with us. One of us works from home during the week, and we’re both around most weekends. That means lots of company, potty breaks, outdoor time, play, and cuddles throughout the day. We live on a fully fenced half-acre property with plenty of space to run, play, sniff, and explore. Our home is kennel-free, and dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable wherever they like. We treat every dog as if they were our own. We are certified in Level 1 Dog CPR and First Aid, and all dogs staying with us must be current on their vaccinations to help ensure a safe environment for everyone.
“Our 2 year-old dog stayed with Danielle while we visited family and we knew she was in great hands. Danielle has a great fenced area for them to run and play and she is clearly very experienced with dogs and we will readily look her up again if we need sitting in the area again in the future.”

“Sasha had a great day with Heather and Ivan. Not only did they make their home welcoming to her, they also made sure she got out for some exercise and fun! It’s much easier to walk away when you pooch walks straight into their home and starts checking things out and we were greeted warmly. I would for sure reach out To Heather again. Thanks for the positive experience and caring for Sasha.”

“My 9 month old dachshund puppy, Poppy, had an another great visit with Julia and her lovely family. We had a long day at a funeral out of town and it was too long a day to leave her. Julia was available and it worked out perfectly.”

About: I’m an experienced pet caregiver who loves keeping dogs active and engaged. I live beside Gary Point Park, so pups enjoy safe walks, fresh air, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I treat every guest like part of the family. Your dog will receive the same patience, safety, and affection that I give my own dog, Roxy. I work from home, which means your dog enjoys consistent supervision, companionship, and a calm environment instead of long hours alone. Your pet becomes part of our daily rhythm with plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. We follow a steady routine with quick pee breaks, a one‑hour walk at noon, and another one‑hour walk in the evening to keep them happy and relaxed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I maintain a calm, supervised home environment and follow each pet’s routine so they feel secure and understood. Doors stay safely closed, walks are done with secure leashes, and I choose open, safe areas around Gary Point Park and Steveston. I use gentle, positive handling and keep a predictable rhythm throughout the day, helping pets relax and feel completely at ease in my care.
“I cannot recommend Sara highly enough for dog sitting! She took care of my 6-month-old puppy, Lady, with such love and attention. From the moment we met, I could tell Sara was a true animal lover. She made Lady feel comfortable and at ease, which was especially important for such a young dog. Throughout the entire time, Sara kept me updated with adorable photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease. Lady came back home happy, healthy, and exhausted from her stay! Sara's dedication and care are unparalleled. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, Sara is the perfect choice. Lady and I are so grateful for her wonderful care and can’t wait to book her again! Thank you, Sara, for being such an amazing sitter!”

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Montague Harbour commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in BC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 84% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
