About: As an only child, my pets were the closest things I had to siblings. I grew up with Rottweilers and pugs, and siamese cats! I do have a soft spot for these breeds (and know all about the pug care: wrinkle cleaning, ear cleaning, breathing difficulties, etc). My pets were sometimes treated better than I was, which I now have a deep appreciation for. Animals are a gift to us- they deserve to be treated as such! I am a stay at home mom, so I am available any hour of the day Monday to Sunday! I am flexible and willing to work my schedule around you and your pets. Growing up, my dogs were my babies. I believe pets need to be given lots of love, affection, and attention. We are eager and excited to welcome your pet into our home! We will welcome them with love, care and cuddles. About: I’ve loved and lived with dogs and cats my entire life and can’t imagine a home without animals. As a longtime healthcare professional and nurse, caregiving comes naturally to me, and I’m attentive to the subtle changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and comfort that can tell us how an animal is doing. Since then, I’ve had 3 dogs, all of whom lived into old age ❤️ So I have lots of hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life, including seniors who need a little extra patience and TLC. While dachshunds have my heart, I’m also very comfortable with larger dogs, different breeds and energy levels. I work from home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention, walks, backyard playtime and cuddles throughout the day. I’m also comfortable with feeding routines, basic grooming and administering medications. Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog like family and send you plenty of photo updates along the way! 🐶❤️ I work from home full-time in marketing, so I’m home and available throughout the day! Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and I have lots of flexibility for playtime, cuddles, feeding, walks, bathroom breaks and whatever their normal routine requires. Pet interruptions during my workday are always welcome ❤️ My schedule is very flexible, including weekdays and weekends, so I can adapt to your pet’s existing routine rather than making them adapt to mine. I want your pet to feel like they’re having their own little vacation while you’re away! Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day to supervise, play and make sure they’re comfortable and safe. My home has plenty of space as well as a private, fenced outdoor backyard where dogs can safely get outside, play and enjoy some fresh air. We’re also only about 7 minutes from a dog park, so if your dog enjoys socializing and you’re comfortable with it, we have that option too. I’m very clean, organized and attentive, and I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, sleeping and care routines as closely as possible.
