About: A Little Something That Makes This Sanctuary Special 🌿🐾 What makes my home a little different is the kind of environment I love creating for the animals who come through our doors. With 23 years of experience caring for dogs, I’ve learned that they all have their own little personalities, needs, and ways of showing us who they are. Some love to play and explore, while others are happiest having a quiet space to relax and someone nearby to keep them company. I love finding that balance between adventure and downtime. We have a spacious property to enjoy, walks to go on, time for play, music to enjoy, and plenty of opportunities for cuddles and Khennection . And when it’s time to slow down, that’s welcome too. 💗 I’m naturally drawn to creating a calm, comfortable atmosphere where animals can settle in at their own pace. I don’t believe every dog needs the same thing. Sometimes they need a little extra play, sometimes a bit of reassurance, and sometimes just the comfort of knowing someone is there. My intention is for your dog to feel like they’ve come to visit a friend, rather than simply being dropped off somewhere while you’re away. And of course, I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved companion in someone else’s care. Their comfort, safety, and individual needs matter to me, and I’d love for you to feel at ease knowing they’re being welcomed into our home with care and affection. A little fresh air, a little play, a little peace, and a whole lot of love. That’s the kind of experience I’d love to share with your dog. 🐶💗 My schedule is pretty flexible! 🐾💗 I’m available Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM onwards. I do have morning school drop off and afternoon school pickup, but otherwise I’m home most of the day and can accommodate pet sitting into the evening. I’m also happy to offer overnight boarding when needed. I’m open to working with pet parents to find an arrangement that works best for everyone. 🌿🐶 I live on a spacious acreage with lots of room to enjoy the outdoors! My property isn’t fenced, so outdoor time is always something I’ll discuss with pet parents beforehand. For dogs who like to wander or aren’t reliable with recall, I use a leash to keep them safe, just as I do with my own pup. If your dog has excellent recall and is accustomed to being off leash, we can chat about what’s appropriate for them and their safety. Inside, my home is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lots of cozy spots to curl up and relax. We have soft blankets, comfy bean bags, and plenty of room for a good nap after a little adventure. There’s also a large patio where dogs can enjoy some fresh air while staying within a supervised space. I share my home with my Chinese Crested hairless dog, who is almost 11 years old and very quiet, independent, and happy to snooze most of the day, as well as my two gentle Sphynx cats. They’re all used to having visiting animals around, and we’ve had lovely experiences with friends bringing their dogs over. My priority is making sure every animal feels comfortable, respected, and safe in our home. I’m always happy to chat with pet parents about their dog’s personality, routines, and specific needs beforehand so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. 💗

About: With love and a sense of responsibility, I keep every little one who comes into my home safe, healthy, and happy. I currently have two dogs brought over from China: one was found in a parking lot, and the other was found at a construction site. During my trips back to China from 2022 to 2024, I organized a stray dog rescue group of about ten people, and I helped more than ten stray puppies find adoptive families. Vancouver Langley farm area, big house, big backyard, dogs have plenty of free space to move around. There are three empty rooms downstairs, and only two dogs are accepted at a time, each eating and sleeping in separate rooms, with low-density, attentive care to ensure safety and no interference with each other. No crates, no group housing, no forced socialization. Based on the dog's size and temperament, selective free roaming is allowed in the living room and other areas of the house. Another room generally accepts small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. The backyard has a large deck, half of which is covered by a rain canopy, so dogs can play on the deck on rainy days. I never leave the dog alone at home. For dogs that are used to sleeping in bed with their owners and become anxious otherwise, I will stay with the dog until it gets used to the new environment. One room has a large bed, and the other has a sofa bed. For newly arrived dogs, I will stay with them at bedtime for the first two days: first, to observe their mood; second, to build trust, help them adjust to the new home as quickly as possible, and shorten their period of anxiety. I feed them daily according to the owner’s feeding time, portion size, and other habits. I do not give extra snacks or treats and do not change the habits the dog has developed at home. They get two full hours of rest in their own rooms after meals. After meals, I wash the bowls and refresh the drinking water as needed. I observe the dog’s eating, bowel movements, mental state, and other conditions every day. If there is anything abnormal, I report it to the owner immediately. I spend a great deal of time in the backyard every day, planting flowers and tending plants, and give the dog plenty of time to play and run in the garden (I never leave the dog alone in the backyard or out of sight). I take videos and photos of the dog every day and send updates, so the owner can promptly know how the dog is doing that day and feel reassured.

About: Our family loves dogs, and we have cared for our close friends’ dogs for several weeks at a time while they were away. Although we are new to Rover, we have experience providing a loving and comfortable home for dogs we know and care about. My husband and I both grew up in homes where we always had dogs as part of our family. We also had a Labrador named Ruby, whom we loved and treated like our first daughter. Unfortunately, we lost her due to medical complications, but she will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We treat every dog that enters our home like a member of our own family. My husband, Subodh, and I both work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. We take dogs for regular morning walks and can provide additional potty and walk breaks every 2–4 hours. We especially appreciate dogs that are comfortable walking on a leash without excessive pulling, as this helps ensure enjoyable and safe walks for everyone. We love keeping pet parents connected by sharing regular photos and videos, and you are always welcome to message us while your dog is staying with us. To provide plenty of individual attention and care, we typically host only one dog at a time. We also have two children who absolutely love dogs and enjoy giving them lots of affection and attention! Our goal is to provide your dog with a safe, loving, and comfortable home away from home. My husband Subodh and I work from home. We take the dog for an early morning walk. We give the food provided by you for the dog after the walk. We are able to take dogs for short walks every 2-4 hours. We have a small fenced yard which gives a small nice open space to walk around. We have 2 kids who love dogs and can give your dog lots of love and care. Subodh and I work from home, so your dog will have lots of company.
