“My 2 yr old shih tzu/maltese spent 2 days / 1 night with Lisa. My pup had never been away from home. Lisa was over the top wonderful!! She sent photos/videos the whole time she looked after my pup. She even sent messages to put my mind at ease. My pup definitely sensed the love and care from Lisa. I was completely amazed at how relaxed my pup was. I will highly recommend Lisa to my friends who are looking for someone loving trustworthy!! I can’t thank you enough Lisa for taking care of my pup and making her feel at home. I look forward to seeing you again!! :)”

“Shari and Richard gave my high-energy JRT a great fun-filled weekend! She enjoyed the special attention and big beautiful back yard. Will definitely be rebooking with them in the future.”

“My dog Oly is a sketchy dog but she was happy under Chelsea's care. She had some playmate, it felt like I was dropping my child off at the daycare. Ready to play! Chelsea clipped Oly's nail for me too. Thanks for the extra attention.”

“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“Deborah/Mark- were excellent with Texas and had great communication with me through the entire stay. Lots of walks and play time with taking Texas to the dog park several times. The home was very clean and homely.”

“Connie was absolutely incredible with our dog, Buddy! From the moment we met her, we knew he was in loving and caring hands. Buddy adores both Connie and her husband, and it was so heartwarming to see how much love and affection they gave him during his stay. She sent us daily photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Honestly, Buddy looked so happy and comfortable that sometimes it seemed like he would have happily stayed with them instead of coming home! Knowing that Buddy was being cared for with such kindness allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our time away without worrying. Connie treated him like family, and that means everything to us. We are incredibly grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving, and attentive sitter. Thank you, Connie, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“Wei and Long went above and beyond to take care of our dog, even losing sleep to take care of him when sick, I would highly recommend them and will book with them again in the future”

“Bella stayed with Heather second time now. I can really tell that Bella enjoys her stay - second time she has recognized Heather and was so happy to see her dog as well!”

“I can’t recommend April enough! She did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Teddy, while I was away. Teddy can be a bit particular, but April was so patient, attentive, and caring. She kept me updated with messages and pictures, which gave me peace of mind. When I came back, Teddy was happy, well-fed, and clearly had a great time. If you’re looking for someone responsible and loving to take care of your pup, April is the best choice! I’ll definitely be booking with her again, thank you for making me feel at ease.”

“Randona was amazing with our dog. He had the best time with her and came back happy and satisfied. Lots of great updates and pics were supplied during our dog’s stay and you can tell that Randona really cares about the dogs she watches. 10/10 would rebook.”

“Melanie was absolutely amazing 😻 My dog loved her right away, she took her for amazing walks and took the best pictures ever 🤩. For sure I will book her again in the future. I really recommend her if you want someone that loves animals! Thanks Melanie for taking care of Marti!”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“amazing!! first time Rover users who have an anxious dog and Sheena exceeded our expectations. will definitely be using her again. thank you Sheena for loving our dog the way we do! ❤️”

“Walter and Angela were great with my 4 year old dog. When I picked my dog up she was happy and tired out. I boarded my girl with them for 2 nights. Walter went out of his way to take my pup on adventures around the neighborhood, and to play her favorite game (chase and fetch). Walter sent a lovely video of my dog enjoying the safety of their super nice enclosed backyard while they played chase. He was also very responsive to my texts. My pup got so much love and attention while she stayed there. I will book with Walter again.”

“Rachael was absolutely wonderful! She loved and cared for Charlie like he was her own and sent us lots of fun videos and pictures of him enjoying his time with her. I would highly recommend her. :)”
About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Sheila is fantastic. Ruby, a full of energy slightly anxious three year old Shih Tzu, was so completely contented when I picked her up after a full week with Sheila. She understands and “knows” dogs. I highly recommend Sheila and expect to ask her to care for Ruby again.”

“Heather and her daughter were absolutely amazing with our small dog Max . I felt he was in the very best hands . I had regular pictures of Max. Max was never left alone . He always had companionship and love . Her dog was very gentle and played with Max very well ! They became best friends. He even came home with a new toy ! We will absolutely be using Heather again for all our dog sitting needs ! Highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Langley
This was the second time we booked with Brooklyn and Nicole. Our pup stayed with them for nearly 2 weeks and it was such a blessing being able to relax on our vacation and not worry about her. We got numerous daily updates and they were always quick to respond. Thanks again 🙏🏼☺️

Brooklyn and Nicole were absolutely amazing! My dog came back tired and so happy — he has separation anxiety but they made him feel so safe and he looked like the happiest dog in the world when they sent me photo updates throughout the day. I would 100% recommend them if you’re in the area! A very positive experience all around. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
