Understood special request and conditions for each dog.Walked dogs outdoors in all weather conditions (anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours at a time). Refreshed water, wiped paws and gave treats. I am very flexible with my schedule pretty much any days works for me. Just make sure to give me a day for cancellation . I allow pets on my bed or furnitures and I will make sure the are safe and if you require I will walk them the next morning

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. I know the signs and symptoms of anxiety and heat stress. I adjust care to alleviate this. I follow instructions and routines. I like to send pictures of animals to owners so they don’t worry. About: My experience with pet care has roots in my childhood with two dogs. Friends, family, and Rover clients count on me to care for their fur babies while they vacation. I am comfortable with commands and recall techniques as well as medications and special needs. I will be in Vancouver for some time this spring and summer. I have a flexible schedule that enables me to make time tor commitments. I am very cautious in pet owner’s homes. Making sure to close gates, not leave food unattended and mindful of other hazards. About: Hi! I’m Jenny! 🌻 I’ve been professionally dog sitting and walking for 8 years now. I have 20 years experience taking care of dogs and cats. I love the playful energy that they bring into people’s lives. While living in North Vancouver, I have dog/house sat for over a 75 different families and had amazing experiences. Some of the dog owners even call me “Aunty Jenny”! I’m Head of Creative Partnerships and work in the retreat industry. So my hours are flexible and I can work wherever there is wifi! I also am a plant and garden lover and will ensure that any greenery be taken care of! Rest assured, your plants, place and pets will be safe and happy with me! “Kate is wonderful with our senior dog. We love that she often cares for other dogs at the same time so he gets to socialize with a pack. He’s an SPCA rescue and sometimes exhibits major anxiety (whimpering, fear aggression) if he is uncomfortable but we have never seen that behaviour at Kate’s house. We know that between Kate, her family, and the other dogs, he isn’t lonely when we’re away. He’s always happy to go to her when we drop him off. When we pick him up, he is happy to see us but not rushing away either which is a great sign. Thank you Kate!”
About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I have two dogs back home and one dog here in Canada. I walk and run with them three times a day. I also feed them and play with them using toys. I took a lot of lessons after having my dogs, including their behaviors, the best ways to take care of them and the symptoms of them being sick. I love animals so much that my mom said I couldn’t sleep without my dog staying under my bed. I have tons of treats and toys at home. My partner has his own photo studio in Richmond that he can bring dogs to the space and engage with them during the day if you are up for it. Fenced yard, crate available, can feed raw, freeze dried, or kibble/can. Our own dog is eating raw and I have extensive knowledge about this diet!

“Walter and Angela were the perfect sitters for my dog Wanda. Before my vacation, I was so anxious because it was my first time leaving Wanda with someone new; however, as soon as I met them, I felt so much more at ease because of their warmth and great dog management skills. Wanda liked them right away too, which is not always the case for when she meets new people. Wanda was given lots of love and attention, long walks along the river by their home, and playtime, and when I came back 5 days later to pick her up, she was in no hurry to leave! Wanda was glued to Walter and gave him lots of kisses - he played ball and tug of war with her in the yard too. I also received lovely text messages and photos to let me know how she was doing. They also have a lovely home with a nice fenced in yard so its a perfect place for dogs. I'm so grateful that I met them and would like to use them again for future dog care services.”
