Full disclosure: I’m one of those annoying fretting pet parents who constantly worries about their dog so it is a big deal for me to leave him with someone else. By time our booking came around I had no qualms about leaving Toby with Jan. I wasn’t wrong because Toby thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Jan (and Earl). About: I have been taking care dogs since I was in elementary school. I brought my dog from Taiwan to Seattle then Vancouver. I also have experienced taking care of puppies. About: My family and I are owners to a three year old big lab/mastiff cross who although is a gentle giant, can also get a bit crazy so if I can handle him I think I can handle anything. I’ve had a dog my whole life and I can’t imagine life without one. I have lots of experience dog sitting with both small and big dogs and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days with them. I do have a soft spot for these breeds (and know all about the pug care: wrinkle cleaning, ear cleaning, breathing difficulties, etc). I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. This also mean I will follow any rules that the owner has set out

My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and passion for pet care comes from learning pet care from my dad who is police dog trainer. Leaving DJ for four nights while I traveled to Ottawa for work was a big step for me, as he’s a rescue dog and can be a little nervous and skittish in new situations. From the moment I dropped him off, Denise and Paul put my mind at ease. Their communication was exceptional. They sent daily photos and videos throughout the day, which reassured me that DJ was happy, relaxed, and settling in well. It was clear from every update that he was receiving lots of care, attention, and affection. Their property is wonderful, with plenty of space for dogs to explore, sniff, and play, along with a secure fenced area that gave me confidence in his safety. When I picked DJ up, he was happy, clean, well cared for, and completely relaxed. As someone who usually takes DJ everywhere with me, being apart from him isn’t easy, but Denise and Paul made the experience stress-free. In fact, I’ve already booked another stay and will have additional bookings planned later this year. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my most precious little guy!”
