I'm a BC native, new to the island. I'm a mortgage broker and have plenty of spare time, so pet sitting fits right into my lifestyle. I'll be there for your beloved family members when they need me. About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and passion for pet care comes from learning pet care from my dad who is police dog trainer. I currently work from home it's a flexible job so l would have plenty time for the pet. Also I would love to go out on walks. “We hired Tamara to dog sit our puppy on our wedding night. Our dog had just sustained a foot injury and was bandaged up from the vet. On top of that he is a diabetic dog and requires daily insulin injections so we needed someone to take care of him at our wedding venue. Tamara did such an amazing job caring for todo on our big day, allowing us to soak in the night and relax. Every time we came to check in on him he looked so happy and calm. My schedule is currently pretty open, I have experience living at home with pets and just dropping in. I am very go with the flow and can make lots work! About: I am pretty good with dogs. I love to walk and play around with them. I am very flexible with my hours I really love and enjoy morning walks with dogs. I think it's very relaxing to start your day doing with something you love. Record anything wrong with the dog, such as coughing, bloody stools, cuts, etc. Managed schedule via phone, email, and text message. Maintain a healthy and loving relationship with the animals. Work independently in creating an efficient daily route and schedule. Picked up and dropped off dogs to and from their homes. Understood special request and conditions for each dog.Walked dogs outdoors in all weather conditions (anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours at a time). Refreshed water, wiped paws and gave treats. I am very flexible with my schedule pretty much any days works for me. Just make sure to give me a day for cancellation . I allow pets on my bed or furnitures and I will make sure the are safe and if you require I will walk them the next morning

About: Experienced cat, dog and snake sitter! I have experience with difference temperaments so shy, anxious, or high energy are no issue at all (: I’ve cared for animals with health issues including preparing and giving medications, and helping with post surgical care. I grew up with cats, dogs, lizards, and rodents and absolutely love animals! Being away at university I don’t get to spend much time with pets, but I always jump at the opportunity to pet sit for friends! I only have one course in this semester. Therefore, I have enough time and patience to take care of the dog and cat. Safety is my top priority. I keep dogs on leash during walks unless in a secure enclosed area. I never introduce pets to other animals without permission. I follow all feeding and medication instructions, monitor behavior, and keep clean water available. In the client’s home, I make sure doors and windows are secure and respect house rules. I send regular updates so owners feel confident and informed.

I love adventure and outdoors. I also have a Roommate while she's working and away I care for her 3 kitties as well, I feed, maintain litter, and play with them. About: I grew up looking after fantail doves, and since becoming a business owner and digital nomad in 2024, I've loved petsitting for many animals across the world. From dogs to cats to goats to goldfish, I've loved learning who they are, supporting them in their homes and having a fun & rewarding time with them in the process! I work remotely in my own business, which allows me to live flexibly and support your pets with the routine and life they're used to whilst you're away. About: I've been caring for dogs my whole life. When my family adopted a grey wolf / German shepherd mix, she became my guardian and best friend (see second photo). I love larger breeds (although teensy lil scaredy dogs are a speciality of mine, too!). I'm the perfect mix of loving and clear, dogs know who's boss. 😎 I am a graphic designer and dance instructor. I work from home most days, sometimes in the evenings and occasionally travel for larger events. My schedule is a bit all over the place, but I'm generally home M-F 9-5. I live in a medium sized apartment with no other pets. We have a large, unfenced yard, and live one block from a dog park. There is room for a crate, but it's my preference to have dogs free roam around with me.
