Dependable,loving care for your pet

Hi there. I have cared for and loved family pets for more years than I can remember. My last family pet was Watson and he was with us approximately 17 years. I was his devoted owner whom he loved to protect and enjoy fun adventurous walks with. I will care for your pet to ensure he/she enjoys their safe outdoor experiences. I am a retired elementary school secretary who enjoys being outside every day. I usually walk 4-10 km 4-5 times a week in good weather. I also enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding in the waters of the Lower Mainland. Cycling is another activity that gets me outside in our beautiful communities. Our four grandchildren visit occasionally and they all have their well loved dogs in their homes as well. I look forward to getting to know your dog and provide a safe outdoor experience for him/her and to give you a peace of mind knowing they are well cared for. (On a side note, I am usually out of the country for the winter, December to March, enjoying warmer weather)

Audrey came and spent time with our timid 10 month old puppy, Violet. Violet although a bit shy at first was won over by Audrey’s gentle patience. We look forward to using Audrey’s services in the future.

We honestly don’t know what kind of magic Audrey has, but Tucker absolutely loves her. She’s officially been accepted into Tucker’s very exclusive inner circle. If you know Tucker, you know what a big deal that is. He’s a sweet dog, but he’s also an anxious, suspicious little old dachshund who generally isn’t interested in making new (or any…) friends. Somehow Audrey has gone from “stranger danger” to getting kisses, pets-on-demand, and couch cuddles. Every time she sends us updates, my partner and I just stare at each other like, “…who is this dog?” She’s incredibly patient with him and always respectful of his needs and limitations, even when it means spending a day hanging out with a couch potato instead of doing anything remotely exciting. As Tucker gets older and deals with more age-related health issues that limit what he’s able to do for activity, that means so much to us. We trust Audrey completely with our little old man, and Tucker very clearly does too. Honestly, that’s the highest compliment we can give. We’re so grateful we found her!

Audrey pet sat for us for 17 days and she did a truly outstanding job. We had never left Rory with someone we did not know before so we were naturally very concerned, but we couldn’t have been happier with the care he received. Rory is an older dog with a myriad of health issues and a complicated medication schedule. Audrey handled this challenge easily, with calmness and confidence. She eased the stress and the anxiety we felt over leaving Rory for this extended time period. She kept in close contact with us and sent many reassuring updates and photos and videos of Rory. What we saw was a happy, relaxed little boy who was in very capable hands. He looked great, obviously happy and very comfortable with Audrey. I would not hesitate in recommending her to others. Audrey is very reliable, very capable and caring, everything you would want in a person you would entrust to care for your pet.

First time having a pet sitter and I was nervous as one of my dogs is very anxious. Audrey was amazing with them. Both dogs were very comfortable with her. I highly recommend Audrey.

We’d be lost without Audrey! Our Tucker likes her so much, and she’s so patient and kind and easygoing - that’s his type of people (he’s a cranky lil’ old guy at this phase of his life)
