About: Dogs and cats have always been special to me. Your furry family members are safe in my care. Check-ins, feedings, and medicine applications are all in my repertoire. I'm a BC native, new to the island. I'm a mortgage broker and have plenty of spare time, so pet sitting fits right into my lifestyle. I'll be there for your beloved family members when they need me. Walkings, feedings, medicine applications, pets, snuggles, and other common means of care are certainly available. I can also teach common tricks, if you have any requests.

“This is the second time I have used Vivian’s services and I couldn’t be happier! My kitties were very well taken care of and I really appreciate all the updates she provided me throughout the day. I highly recommend Vivian for your petsitting needs.”

“10 STARS!! We recommend Peggie for pet care and house sitting. Peggie is so kind and in sync with our dogs, I could not have hoped for better care. Peggie is tidy and organized, our home was perfectly cared for when we arrived home. I was nervous to leave our dogs for the first time and Peggie put my mind at ease and kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos. I appreciated her care for me in this process as well. Peggie won over our nervous dog and was greeted for pets by the end of her stay. A great accomplishment and compliment to Peggie. Peggie’s care for our dogs and rabbits was excellent. (Feeding, cleaning, walking, spending time with them, playing) Moka is a great companion to any pets you have, gentle and a ready to play! Highly recommend Moka as a play date. I have found our dog sitter for any future vacations.”

“Dominique provided a fantastic service. She stayed in my house with my two 18 month old Boston Terriers for 10 days whiIe I was in Mexico . The dogs loved her. She walked them daily and sent me photo and text updates. She left my home in perfect shape and even watered my houseplants. I would thoroughly recommend Dominique and hope to use her services next time I'm away on vacation.”

“Iona looked after our pets and home for 2 weeks. She was great; our pets were healthy and happy, our house was spotless, and she communicated regularly. It was good to be on vacation and not have to worry about what was going on back home.”

“Ress was absolutely amazing and took wonderful care of my two large dogs and home for 3 weeks! She handled my German Shepherd’s leash reactivity and separation anxiety very well and was able to adapt to help him adjust to the changes. She had great communication with us and kept us well informed and sent update pictures throughout the sit! I highly recommend and book again!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.
“We had the pleasure of having Cara look after our dog, Finn, and she was absolutely wonderful! She kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Finn looked so happy and well cared for the entire time. On top of that, we came home to a spotless house, Cara even went the extra mile and washed the linens. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thoughtful dog sitter. She truly treats your fur baby like her own!”

I was recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 28 years old and I find most of my comfort with my families dog (Dotty) who I walk everyday. I make sure she always has fresh water, plenty of attention, and opportunities for play When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, I understand like people dogs also have different personalities that all have different needs. For example, If a pet is shy or nervous, I'll give them space and let them approach me at their own pace. If they're energetic, I'll make sure they get plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged.

“Isaac was great with Hugo! This was our first house sitter experience and he was on time and had no problem with Hugo's routine. He was friendly and warm with our pup, provided photos of the day, detailed updates whenever our sleepy little guy was awake, and left the place clean. Will definitely be booking again! Thanks again :)”

Walnut Grove pet parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor went beyond our expectations and made herself available to meet our little 9 pound poodle a few times before we left for our week holiday. At first out little guy was reserved and hesitant but he was very comfortable with Taylor by the time we left and was cuddling up beside her as soon as we walked out the door. He was happy to see us on our return but Taylor is now his new favourite friend. We would not hesitate to have her look after him again and we know he would be happy to see her.

Lukas is fantastic! He took excellent care of our senior dog Lucy (as well as our house and plants). Twice now we've used Lukas as a house and dog sitter, most recently while we were away for a month. We left with confidence that all was in good hands. We returned to a happy dog and a clean house. We highly recommend Lukas to watch your home and take great care of your pets.

Samantha did a great job with our very anxious dog. Our dog was very comfortable with her and we were really comfortable leaving her with Samantha. When we returned from our holiday, Samantha had the house very clean and fresh baked cookies for us on the table. Overall very positive experience for our first time ever using a dog sitter

Kiran is a great housesitter! She looked after our two cats for 7 nights. I was a little nervous leaving them for the first time, but Kiran sent lots of updates and pictures that made it clear they were being well taken care of and feeling comfortable in her presence. Kiran left our home clean, followed all requests/instructions, and even took time to strip the bed and leave the space set up to stay cool for our return. She is very thoughtful, professional and we will definitely book her for our next trip. Thanks Kiran!
