Excited to get to know your pup!
We had Misty, a rescue pup, for 10 years and she crossed that rainbow bridge in 2022. Since then I've been petsitting dogs with a couple of regulars including the border collie in my profile pic. I have experience with both high energy to senior dogs...and with a variety of temperaments. I've also petsat cats and lived with cats for a couple of years.

Schedule
I work remotely and can be flexible with my schedule to meet your pup's needs. The only thing I couldn't do is take care of a puppy...I have experience and because of that, I know they will constantly need to be watched and taken outside...which wouldn't be suitable for getting work done. I work Monday to Thursday and a little on Fridays. Please note - I will be out of town from May to August (for an annual petsit I have in Scotland). I'm open to a weekly arrangement but we will have to pause it by the end of April...until September.

Safety, trust & environment
I can be flexible to whatever your rules are with your fur baby to maintain consistency. When going on walks, I will keep your pup on a leash just to be on the safe side.
A typical day
I can adapt to what your fur baby is used to. If they like to play we can play...or if they need a longer walk, I can do that as well! I'll try to keep some level of consistency, so let me know what they need and I'm happy to adjust! I do work remote and there may be times that I have calls.

- At the moment I can't take on a puppy because I work (from home) during the day and will not be able to give them my undivided attention. What is their normal schedule like? Are they good walking with a leash? How are they with other dogs? I have experience with a retriever that's about 30kg (66lbs) and he is about the max I can handle if they tend to pull while on a leash. There are some exceptions such as bulldogs that are low to the ground are typically okay.
