I would appreciate knowing as much as possible about your pets ahead of time. What is their personality like? Any special needs they have? What’s important to them and what is important to their pet parents? What is important for the schedule, etc?
A typical day
If I’m taking care of dogs and they are healthy and capable, I definitely make sure they get exercise. So going for walks, letting them run around if appropriate, and playing fetch, etc. If they’re not able to exercise like that, I make sure that we do what they’re capable of doing and give them lots of affection. Likewise, for cats, I will talk to them, pet them and give them as much affection as they like.

She was calm and didn't get the dogs all wound up with baby talk. Her voice with them was steady and assured. Dudley and Daisy obviously had a great time with her on their walk. They were tired and happy. Karen really is a joy!
