About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“April and her husband are lovely and we felt so safe and secure leaving our little pup with them for a week while we were away. They had a wonderful home, amazing energy, a large backyard, and only took one dog at a time, so we knew our Pippin would be given lots of love and attention while we were away and missing us. I would recommend April And her husband to everyone and anyone and will definitely Be reaching out to them again in the future - they have become Pippin’s unofficial new grandparents :) thank you both again!!”

“This was our pups first time staying out of our home and we were a bit worried as one of our pups has health issues. Kris kept us updated during the week we were away and everything went well...no epileptic seizures! Thank you Kris! We hope to use you in the future now that our pups know you.”

“My dog was so Happy, and she seems better behaved at the park, she plays with other dogs which she never did before. We are so happy, I feel like her anxiety is gone about other dogs. Chelsea is now our go to for a dog sitter. We are so happy with our dogs experience! Thank you Chelsea”

“Catherine and her husband were great. I was worried my dog would not adjust as he has not had any nights without. They made him so comfortable that it felt to me that he felt that was his second home. I got updates regularly and pictures. Bella was really great too. Made Gizmo feel right at home. I will book again with Catherine”

“Bella (my puppy) had the best experience staying with Heather. She had been walked several times a day, had been taken to dog park to run around and play/socialize. Had best time playing with Sogeum (Heather’s dog) Everyday I was getting several updates on how Bella is doing with pictures and videos. Would highly recommend Heather as dog sitter and look forward to have Bella staying again.”

“We were very impressed with Leslie. She is wonderful with animals of all kinds. My dogs came home healthy and happy. We will ask Leslie to care for our boys in the spring when we take our next trip.”

“We left our dog for four nights with Daisy and Paul. Xena had the time of her life ! Daily updates and pictures reassured us that our dog was well looked after. Any concerns that came up where shared with us. They provided great interactive play time for the dogs. Definitely a great environment for dogs. I highly recommend Daisy and Paul!”

“Hilary eased my stress of leaving my fur babies while I had to leave on a work trip. She sent me photos each day and notes to ensure all their needs were met. About: I have a deep love for animals and for treating them with love and respect. I am patient, kind, and fun. Growing up, we had many kittens and puppies that we raised and nurtured to be fine adult cats and dogs. I’m currently transitioning from a high pressure corporate career to a more relaxed and peaceful phase and have lots of time available for pet sitting, walking and checking in. I’m available most days and evenings, including weekends. I can care for pets in their homes, I am conscientious of what pet parents require. I appreciate clear communication. I’m also happy to care for elderly pets or those who require special attention.
“Ran was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure Mango was happy and comfortable! Ran was able to give oral medication successfully and made sure Mango was well fed.”

“Merran is such a caring pet sitter would highly recommend. Our cat has been having skin issues that flared up when we were gone, Merran recognized it timely and went above and beyond to buy topical cream to relieve our cats itching. Very trustworthy person, will book her for future trips if she is available!”

“Nikki is so lovely, communication is fantastic, lots of pictures, keeps everything nice and clean. Highly recommend her to take care of your fur baby. She is the only kitty sitter I book :)”

“Darlee took amazing care of our home and cats while we were away. Both cats are seniors and need frequent wet food feedings as well as one is diabetic and needs oral medication at set times. They are very needy needing lots of attention and when we got home they seemed perky and happy. She took great care of them, communicated well, and left the home in a very clean shape even putting her bedding in washer before she left. We were very impressed.”

“Dominique provided drop in visits for our cat while we were away and we would definitely recommend her. She is reliable, quick to respond, and respected our cat’s needs.”

About: Cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for cats of all personalities and breeds, from Siamese to orange tabbies, long-haired cats, and everything in between. I have hands-on experience with cats who require special diets and food restrictions, as well as those with medical needs such as asthma. I’ve also cared for senior cats who need extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I understand how sensitive cats can be to change, and my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away — the same level of care I expect for my own cats.

“This is not the first time we’ve booked Natalie’s services, and as always, we’re pleased with the care she provides for our cats. They clearly adore her! Highly recommend Natalie to all pet owners, your pets will be in very good hands!”

“This was my first time using rover & leaving my babies in the care of anyone other than close friends or family. Trish made me feel at ease with her kind care, close attention, and thorough communication. My Henry is anxious with strangers but he quickly warmed up to Trish. Super happy and will book with Trish when she’s available!”

About: ***I am currently not accepting requests for high strength/energy breeds including pitbulls, german shepherds or huskies. Thank you for your understanding! I am extremely passionate about animal care and have grown up with dogs my entire life, as as well as a variety of other pets. Being around animals is something that comes to me naturally! Over the years I have undergone hands-on experiences pet sitting for friends and family around the Lower Mainland; this include caring for young puppies who require extra attention and patience. I am extremely organized, attentive and adaptable with every animal I care for. Every pet has different needs depending on their personality and routine, and I make an effort to adapt my care in a way that is shaped to them; this might mean sticking to a schedule, reinforcing basic training and boundaries, or helping your pet express their extra energy in a safe way. In addition to pet care, I have over five years of babysitting experience that has taught me to be reliable, communicative, and detail oriented. I ensure owners feel at ease with their pet in my care by providing regular updates and being responsive. I pride myself in treating every pet like they are my own fur baby! As a student taking online courses, I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking and check-ins most weekdays and weekends and can pet sit most nights and weekends. Please check my calender to see my most recent availability! My priority is to accommodate you and your pet’s needs! In your home, I focus on ensuring that their routine is as normal and stress-free as possible, whether this be a regurlarily scheduled walk or a hyperspecific bedtime routine. I am also an extremely organized and tidy person, and I will ensure that I leave your house in spotless condition. For walking services, I am open to exploring local neighbourhoods or driving down to nearby hiking paths depending on how adventurous your little buddy is feeling. Safety is always my priority when it comes to walking; I pay close attention to dog energy levels, behaviors, and comfort levels around other animals and in various environments. I ensure that leashes, harnesses and collars are always secure and comfortable, and maintain a pace appropriate for your dog's needs.
“We are using cat sitter first time. Lana is the very responsible and organized person. She did a great job and we are very happy with her. We will choose her when we need her help. Thanks Lana Michelle & SK Lee”

“Viktoriia was a wonderful addition to our household while we were away. Milo, our cat, did so well under her attention. She was respectful, communicative, punctual and left our home spotless. I really appreciated every few days getting an update and photo of Milo on what he might have been up to that day. I will certainly be booking Viktoriia again. Having peace of mind everything will be ok when you are away was a gamechanger for us.”

“As first time users of Rover, we were pleased that Deborah and Mark immediately accepted our request to take care of Harper, our Golden Retriever, in their home for four hours while we attended a family event. Harper settled right away in their home and fenced backyard, and we felt comfortable leaving him in their care. We were pleased with photos they sent to us during his stay. We would gladly rebook with Deborah & Mark in the future and recommend them to others.”

“Our dog Tango had a great time at Lu’s for daycare. He immediately got excited to meet Lu and run in the backyard. He played with other dogs so much that when we took him home, he slept through his dinner time. Everything looked safe and clean for dogs. Lu took care to introduce the dogs to each other gradually and keep them separate until we knew they would get along. We will be back !”

“Thank you so much Heather for taking such good care of Mia! She has a separation anxiety and I had to leave her at someone's place for the first time. I was worried but she told me 'Dont say goodbye and just leave normally. She will be fine.' and I knew she was in a good hand. She looked after my dog so well throughout the day. My dog can also be anxious around other dogs but her pup also knew it and kept a comfortable distance for Mia while still very friendly to her. She also communicated well with me with photos and updates which I appreciate. I highly recommend her for any dogs that requires loving warm place to stay!”

Choco has severe separation anxiety, and Kruti stayed along with Choco all the time. We will book another visit with her for sure in the future.”

“We know she really cares for Kala, and she was very gracious when we asked if she could sit for Kala until 10:30p instead of 10p, since the play we were attending would go longer than we thought.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have 16 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with dogs, horses, bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters, so understanding animal behavior and care has always come naturally to me. I have a ton of patience, attentiveness, and ability to build trust with animals quickly. I also personally trained my own family dogs (golden retriever and American Eskimo Spitz), which gave me experience with reinforcing good behaviours, maintaining routines, leash walking, crate training, and understanding the importance of consistency and positive reinforcement. I know every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and needs, and I genuinely take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and anxious, I adapt to what makes them happiest and most relaxed. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets in my care get lots of supervision, companionship, playtime, cuddles, and attention, not just quick check-ins. I treat every animal like they’re part of the family and care for them the same way I’d want someone to care for my own pets. I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home as a university student currently off for the summer. This allows me to provide pets with lots of attention, supervision, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m available for daytime care and overnight boarding, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine to help them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have years of experience caring for animals, not only my own pets, but also pet sitting and caring for the pets of friends, family and clients over the years. I have looked after animals with different personalities, routines, and energy levels, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and attentiveness are when caring for someone’s pet. I live in a clean, pet-friendly townhouse with a front yard, and pets in my care are welcome to freely roam around the home and make themselves comfortable. They are absolutely allowed on the furniture because I want them to feel as relaxed, loved, and at home as possible during their stay. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive lots of supervision, companionship, playtime, cuddles, and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I am also a very active and routine-oriented person, so walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, and playtime are always kept consistent and reliable. Since I already enjoy going on walks daily myself, your dog will get plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and stimulation. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and comfort level to help them feel safe and stress-free while away from home. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more calm and cuddly, I will make sure they receive patient, loving, and attentive care every step of the way. For daycare and overnight boarding, I ask owners to provide food, treats, leash/harness, medications (if needed), and any comfort items like toys or blankets to help their pets settle in comfortably.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.

About: What sets me apart is my calm, consistent approach with animals. I focus on making dogs feel safe, relaxed, and understood on their walks. I’m reliable with routines and pay attention to each dog’s pace and behaviour, rather than rushing or treating walks as a quick task. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I currently have flexibility on certain days of the week, especially Thursdays and some flexible hours in between. I plan my availability carefully so I can be consistent and reliable for scheduled walks. I provide pet care in the client’s home by following their routines closely and making sure their pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. For dog walking, I focus on safe, consistent walks tailored to the dog’s energy level and needs. I respect each home and treat it with care and professionalism.
“Dominique has been fantastic with our new puppy. She's been walking our pup throughout the week for a couple weeks and gives us updates and photos every time. She is promp and is always accommodating to changes.”

About: Hi, I’m Emaan - a lifelong animal lover! I have grown up around pets and currently have four rescue cats of my own. Although I haven't owned dogs myself, I am willing to provide reliable care for your pets based on your specific house rules and routines. I am a quick learner when it comes to your pet’s feeding schedules, walking routines, giving meds, and can ensure they feels safe, loved and cared for in their own environment. 😄 As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I am available all days of the week for in-home check-ins or visits and can coordinate what time(s) work best for you and your pet. I provide care in the comfort of your home, ensuring your pets remain in an stress-free and familiar environment while you are away. I will follow specific schedules and set routines and provide a whole lot of love!
About: I never ask clients to leave a review. I feel like the reviews that I receive are far more genuine and authentic when owners feel inclined to leave feedback on their own. It makes the reviews that I do receive far more meaningful to me and hopefully if you are considering reaching out to me for a booking you can read for yourself about all the happy owners I have worked with over the last few years. I do my best to make sure that all the dogs and cats I have looked after feel safe, happy and content while with me. I like to try and be their home away from home ❤️. If I’ve done that, then I have had a successful booking; for the owner/family and their pet. I grew up with all kinds of pets and feel comfortable and happy around animals. Dogs in particular bring me immense joy. The love and loyalty they give unconditionally sets them apart in my opinion. Besides growing up with pets, as an adult I have raised 2 dogs from a puppy and trained them into adulthood. I have also experienced looking after senior dogs and all that this entails. Currently I have my own small to medium-sized dog at home, she will be a companion to your dog when staying with us. She is super friendly and outgoing. My son and daughter are both in their late teens and are very responsible and each has taken dog training classes. Between the 3 of us, we think we offer a loving, caring home, filled with belly rubs, several walks a day (or one long one!) and maybe a few treats here and there (if allowed). I have had many repeat customers because when a pet returns home after their stay with me they are happy and healthy and owners can see that they have been well looked after. I have enjoyed the trusted relationships I have built with the dog owners I have met and worked with as well as their furry family members! I currently work primarily from home. When I do go into the office, it's only for 1 - 2 days a week for approx. 4 - 6 hours. I have one child in university who lives at home currently and her schedule is such that she is home on the days that I may go into the office. So your pet will never be left alone. My son is also home in the evenings and on the weekends and is happy to help play, walk or support the dog/cat in any way that he can. I can pet-sit and do overnights anytime. I would prefer to have at least 3 days notice that you are wanting to book a stay though so I can plan accordingly. I am mostly a homebody and I love to go for long walks and hikes especially on the weekends when I have more time. Most days I usually take my dog for a walk in the morning for approx. 1 hour and then I usually take her out in the evening for approx. 1 hour walk. If your dog is up for it, they are more than welcome to join us. Throughout the day depending on the energy level of your dog I can also take several breaks to play with your furry friend. I have a large variety of pet toys and dog puzzles to keep your dog active and mentally stimulated. If your dog likes to just relax and snooze most of the day, there are quiet spots throughout my home that would give them the comfort and quiet they would like. There are no young kids in my home or cats that your pet might have to contend with. We live in a peaceful and quiet area with access to the outside whenever your dog might need it. I understand the need for a safe environment for your pet. I require the same from anyone looking after my dog when I have had to go away. I understand the stress and anxiety that can come from leaving your furry family member with a stranger. I am happy to send picture(s) to you of your dog during their stay with me. I have found that this brought me peace when I had to leave my dog, it was important to have a visual of her happy face and I'm happy to provide you with the same! If you want to text about how your dog is doing, I can do that too. I will provide your pet with the same care and love that I give me own dog. I will be attentive to your dogs needs and will be happy to have them in my home. Your dog is welcome on the bed and sofa along with my dog (if that's ok with you). If you are crate training I am familiar with that and I am happy to continue with that routine as well. I also feel comfortable with dogs that are older and require medication throughout their day and perhaps a slower pace and with special needs dogs that may require a little more time and attention.
“Emma walked our dog Summer while we were on vacation. Excellent communication, reliable and trustworthy. It was a stress free experience and Summer was happy and healthy when we arrived home. Positive all round experience.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I really felt that when I had to leave my own dog, Suarez, behind for business travel. I remember how hard that felt, constantly wondering how he was doing, hoping he was actually being cared for, and wishing I had more than just a quick update. That experience is a big part of why I do this the way I do now. I recently stepped away from my corporate career to focus on working with animals and creating a space where dogs can feel comfortable, settled, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away. At home, I have a 12 year old Labrador who is calm, gentle, and incredibly intuitive with other dogs. He naturally helps create a low-pressure environment and is often the first to share his toys and help new dogs settle in. Outside of the home, I volunteer at a farm sanctuary working with rescue animals, many from difficult backgrounds. That experience has strengthened my ability to read behaviour, notice small changes, and adjust care based on what each animal needs. I’m also certified in Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs & Cats and continue to study canine behaviour, communication, and nutrition so I can better understand and care for the dogs that stay with me. Experience & Certifications: • Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs & Cats • Ongoing study in canine behaviour, communication, and nutrition • Volunteer experience at a farm sanctuary working with rescue animals I keep things intentionally low volume, with only a small number of dogs at a time, so each one gets the attention, structure, and environment they need to feel at ease. What matters most to me is that you can actually relax while you’re away, knowing your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Caring for dogs is my full-time focus, so the day is built around what they need. With only two dogs here at a time, I’m able to really pay attention to how each dog is settling in and adjust based on their energy, personality, and comfort level. Most days include a mix of time outside and at home, whether that’s walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails. Some dogs love getting out and exploring, while others, especially seniors, do better with shorter, slower walks and more time to rest, so I always follow what works best for them. I’m home most of the day, and the only time I step out is a few times during the week for about an hour to an hour and a half. Before I leave, I always make sure your dog has been walked and settled so they can relax comfortably. Any time on their own is brief, and never for long. What your dog’s time here can look like: Your dog’s day is a mix of time outside, time at home, and proper rest. Depending on their personality and energy, their stay may include: - Walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails - Scent-based walks where they can explore at their own pace - Puzzle toys and simple scent games inside - Time in the kitchen making dog-safe treats together (with your approval) - Quiet rest and downtime around the home Every dog is different, so I adjust the day based on what helps them feel most comfortable and settled. The environment your dog will be in: -Only 2 dogs at a time (no overcrowding) -Dedicated entry space (fully turfed garage) for post-walk clean up, drying off, and settling in comfortably -Full access to the home, designed to feel familiar and relaxed -Dogs are welcome on the couch, ottomans, and bed (just like home) -Space set up for both play and downtime depending on what your dog enjoys -Fully fenced backyard + access to nearby walking paths Updates while you’re away: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to know your dog is doing well. What you can expect from my end: - Daily updates with photos or short videos - Notes from every visit on how they’re settling in and anything I’m noticing Getting started: I like to keep things simple and low stress for both you and your dog. Step 1: Meet & Greet I always like to start with a meet and greet, typically around 30 minutes or less, so we have a chance to get to know each other and make sure it feels like a great fit for everyone. It also gives me a chance to learn more about your pup’s routine, personality, energy level, behaviours, and anything important I should know ahead of their stay. I have a few go to parks that I find work really well for meet and greets, otherwise we can always coordinate another location that’s comfortable and convenient. Step 2: Pre-Stay Details As we get closer to your booking, I’ll collect a few final details like feeding schedule, veterinary information, emergency contacts, medications, and anything else needed to make sure your dog is cared for properly while they’re here. Suarez and I are excited to welcome your pup into our home! 😊

“Deborah/Mark- were excellent with Texas and had great communication with me through the entire stay. Lots of walks and play time with taking Texas to the dog park several times. The home was very clean and homely.”

“Highly recommend this high energy household for all your doggy needs. My boy had the best time and is looking forward to his next weekend with who he claims is now his second family!”

“This was our first time hiring a dog sitter. Rachel and family are absolutely amazing! Not only did Rachel send me multiple updates with pictures, she also took our dog on walks, let him on the furniture, and gave him cuddles that he is use to getting at home. I would highly recommend Rachel to care for your dog. We will definitely be using her as our dog sitter in the future!”

“Randona was amazing with our dog. He had the best time with her and came back happy and satisfied. Lots of great updates and pics were supplied during our dog’s stay and you can tell that Randona really cares about the dogs she watches. 10/10 would rebook.”

“Lu shared regular updates with us, lots of pictures and videos, at no point were we left wondering if everything is okay, really appreciate it! Our dog came home happy. 🙏🏼”

“Hyoungjin and Soyoung were so kind and attentive towards my dog Tikaani. They thoughtfully provided daily photo updates while I was away and they clearly care for the animals in their home. I would definitely rebook with them in the future”

“Li and his wife are amazing. They took such great care of my dog. They even gave me some pointers on how to stop my dog from pulling while on the leash. They are lovely people and I will be using them again.”

“She was wonderful with Mochi! Such a sweet and caring lady — she sent me daily videos and updates, which made me feel so comfortable while I was away. Mochi looked like she was having so much fun and was really well cared for. I’d definitely book with her again!”

“Gloria was outstanding! She took care of our collie for two weeks, and she did so with a perfect balance of professionalism and TLC. Just as important, she gave us peace of mind by sending us daily updates and pictures, by staying attentive to all our instructions, and by responding quickly whenever we reached out to her. This was our first time using Rover, and we were apprehensive at first. But we were impressed with Gloria right away, and her communication throughout our trip made it clear that she was an exceptional dog sitter. With Gloria, our dog got the care and attention she needed -- and she really enjoyed the hiking and walking adventures, too! We will absolutely go back to Gloria when we need a dog sitter again. We give her our highest recommendation!”

“Baer loved staying with Alice so much he didn’t want to leave! Baer loved the outside space, having a pup friend (Bennie), and all the attention he got this weekend. We appreciated the photos and video updates and the great care he received. Would recommend and rebook with Alice next time we’re in the area.”

“Rachael was absolutely wonderful! She loved and cared for Charlie like he was her own and sent us lots of fun videos and pictures of him enjoying his time with her. I would highly recommend her. :)”
“Christina is a caring and competent pet caregiver. We had unforseen circumstances and she was able to accommodate us for boarding. We feel safe and secure leaving our puppy with Christina. We will be using her services on a regular basis. Thank you! 🐾”
