About: Hey cute dogs and responsible dog owners! I am a german dog trainer and I miss working with dogs so much! Since I am here in Canada, I work part-time from home and unfortunately I am not allowed to have an own dog, where I live. For the past 8 years I worked with more than 45 dogs and I fostered more than 30 dogs in my own home in Germany (mostly rescues). I used to worked with three german animal protection associations as well. My specialties are: - leash pulling issues - creating a better bond and relationship between dog and owner - behavior in general - issues at home I can´t wait to meet you and your dog! I work part-time in my own business at home, so I am able to organize my own times, when I work. But ideal is after 11:30 am. I know, how to read dogs. I work with dogs all my life, even as a kid, I worked with dogs at german dog parks. I was the youngest trainer in my town, who ever worked with dogs. And mostly, I often like dogs better than humans - to be honest. Dogs are just amazing. I will always take care about the safety of the animal, that - for me - is job one. Also I won´t give anything to the pet (treats, toys), that I haven´t talked through with the owner beforehand.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and just rescued my own about a year and a half ago. He is my world:). I know how stressful it can be to leave your animal with someone so I understand how hard it can be! I take my dog daily to dog parks, open fields, and on the occasional walk, so spending time with dogs is already a big part of my everyday life! I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a double major in Psychology and Criminology and have moved back home to Brentwood Bay, BC after playing NCAA Division I hockey in Minnesota for the past several years. While living in Duluth, I rescued my dog Loki from a local humane society, and he quickly became one of the best parts of my life. That experience only strengthened my love for animals and the importance I place on providing them with a safe, happy, and active environment. Now that I'm back home, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability during both weekdays and weekends, allowing me to provide the attention, care, and exercise your dog deserves. Your furry kid will receive lots of bum pats while he/she is with me:) Please communicate if your furry child/ren have any medical conditions (vomiting every day etc.) before I accept your invitation. Make sure they are vaccinated on time and be given flea pills etc. Boarding/Housesitting: I have lived alone for many years so I am not bad at house chores and I am a tidy person. I had some plants at home (avocado, qumquat, calonche, cactuses etc.) Also, I have experiences on couchsurfing/airbnb/workaway and have many references there (~30 references/reviews in total). I do not expect hotel-like cleaning and I understand that there are cultural differences in terms of hygiene but I really don`t like breathing dust or seeing spider nets above my bed or stains in my bed/urine on the toilet etc. For me to leave your home clean before I leave, make sure that you leave cleaning products/cloths/paper towels/cloths etc., please. Also, please let me know if there is no hot water/no heating/unusual stairs/ladders that I have to use at your home. About: My place has been a revolving door of visiting pets of friends and family for the past 6 years. I live with my wife and cocker spaniel, Vincent, and we keep him active with walks play which he loves to have other dogs join I am currently completing a degree in kinesiology at camosun college, which keeps me busy but also has plenty of time at home for pet care. I can easily be available for visits and visitors I like to take my dog out for walks around the property several times a day. There is a nice field far from roads that I allow him off leash to run, play and chase smells. There is a large dog park which is about a 10 minute drive away and a mountain hike that is 5 minutes to walk to (about an hour to complete the hike and get home). We play with his toys inside and Vincent is always happy to play with visitors and other dogs at the park.

I love high levels of communication and can provide pick-up, check-in, walk, and drop-off updates as you like. I will use dog-friendly seatbelts when transporting in my climate controlled SUV.

I have over 10 years of experience being a responsible caretaker of horses as well as years of caring for my emotionally and medically needy Frenchie and some of his friends! About: Hi There! I'm Amber and I am a fur mama to two Chihuahuas. I love all animals (more than people). I have babysat my friends and families pets for years (puppies too!). I would love to watch over your fur baby. I am available 7 days a week for dog walking for almost any time of day. I am an athletic person so long walks (2 hours) are no trouble for me. I am also available to come for potty breaks multiple times a day. My chihuahuas are my babies. They are part of the family. We go on 2-3 walks a day, play fetch in the yard, and lots of snuggling. They have full range of the house and of course sleep in the bed. I make them healthy home cooked meals.
