“Ryan has been amazing with our cat William. We got stuck in Seattle for an additional day and really helped us out with our cat. He has been on time, efficient and posted photos of our cat showing us how well he’s doing. We would definitely recommend Ryan for any pet sitting needs!”

“Barbara was great with our kitty guys! They really seemed comfortable with her and she was very communicative with us about the cats, the house, etc. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!”

“Reluctantly giving multiple 5 stars due to not wanting to lose Vaneessa. Couldn't ask for anyone better, above and beyond service, Zeke is a big fan. Punctual, reliable, flexible.”

“Ashley was fantastic. She came a few weeks early to check it the house and meet us and to make sure everyone, including our cat was comfortable. Ashley was very responsive and sent us pics while we were away. We can't recommend Ashley enough and will definitely be using her again on our next trip.”

“Megan is reliable and confident and was very attentive to my dogs needs. He can be reactive on a leash so needs structured play areas, she did a great job of ensuring he got there and had a good time safely. Her communication is awesome and she sends photos, which is so appreciated when away from my boy. I’ll definitely reach out to Megan again when I need care for my big silly boy.”

About: Hi! I’m Lyndsey, and I’d love to care for your pup like one of my own 🐾 I grew up with Labs and Retrievers and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities-from teacup Shorkies to pit bulls. Since moving to the Island in 2018, l've regularly dog-sat for friends, family, and now Rover clients. I’m especially comfortable working with pups who are anxious, reactive, or sensitive and need a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe and understood. Additionally, I’m happy to follow any training methods your dog is learning to make sure our walks and visits stay consistent with their progress. - More about me - I work part time as an event paramedic, which means responsibility, safety, and attention to detail are second nature to me. You can trust that your pet (and your home) will be cared for with the same level of respect and attentiveness. - My Home - Nestled near Goldstream Park, Langford Lake, and Mount Wells, our walks turn every outing into an adventure. I live in a one bedroom suite with a shared fenced yard and can host 1 small/medium dog at a time so they receive lots of individual attention. I also let pets choose their cozy spots, bed included! - Your on call dog mom - I always aim to keep pets routines as consistent as possible and will happily tailor care to your instructions. I'd love to chat, answer any FURther questions, and make sure we're a great fit. I look forward to meeting you and giving your dog(s) the love and care they deserve. Meet & greets are a great way to start, and I’m happy to book walks, playdates, or short visits beforehand to help every dog feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for.
“Karen took great care of Tom, who is a bit of a cranky old man, and administered his multiple medications with only minor complaints from the cat himself. I would not hesitate to use her again; highly recommended”
“Paulina is as lovely as she is caring! We were able to thoroughly enjoy a worry-free holiday season thanks to Paulina’s regular check-ins and genuine enthusiasm around our unique animal care! We SO look forward to hiring Paulina again - thank you!”

“Thank you so much to Michelle who took care of our two cats. Hermes had an emergency right before we left and required meds, which Michelle was happy to take care of on such short notice during our trip. She sent many photos of the cats each visit, played with them, and gave us updates on how they were doing. They seemed to love her right from the introduction visit. Super grateful we could trust Michelle to take care of our babies! MUCH better than the stress of boarding them in an unfamiliar place. Definitely will keep Michelle in mind for our next trip!”

“Dominique was incredible with my boy! She was great and flexible when my plans changed a little bit last minute and she’s doing so amazing with my puppy when I left her a lot of instructions 💗💗 My boy loves her and looks forward to seeing her every week!”

“Hope has a unique gift with animals where they feel relaxed with her. Our cat was instantly taken by her care and kindness to him. We are incredibly lucky to have Hope’s support to provide such good care to all our pets. 😻”

About: Growing up on a farm, I developed a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds. I've lived with cats my entire life, and my extended family always had dogs—so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for both. Whether it was feeding, bathing, or taking dogs on long walks during family gatherings, I’ve always been the go-to pet helper. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to keeping pets happy and healthy. I monitor water bowls daily, provide fresh water, and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise—whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a long hike to leave them happily tuckered out. I work a hybrid 8-4 schedule, so days I WFH can be worked in your space (if wanted) or I can come by on lunch breaks and after work. I am free after 5pm on days in office. On Friday's after 5pm and open all day on weekends and am more than welcome to staying to play and take outside In my own space, we have a balcony that my cat loves going outside on. While Bean does not have any harness training, I did put up garden fence edging to block her in so she cannot stick herself under the balcony. When she goes outside, I also go outside to ensure no funny business happens. My cat back home in Ontario with my parents (who is in my photo) was harness trained as we got her at 10 weeks. Gucci was harness trained as she was so small and wanted to always come outside, she wore a snag-free collar with a bell because she was so quiet. When she did come outside, we literally put a stake in the ground and put her leash around it so she could only go in a circle. as she got older we let her explore with us outside until we trusted her without the harness. Now that she's old, she just comes outside and lays in the sun but always has someone there to watch her as she still is a cat and has a love of thinking the grass is greener everywhere else.
“Jason was amazing to our dogs, we were so worried to go on vacations and leave our dogs behind but Jason was truly great. The dogs had the best time playing and going out with him, it was a fun time for them. He always updated us and we felt that they were really well taken care off. We will definitely rebook next time we are away”

“Emma is an amazing life saver. She took care of my 2 cats while my wife was in labour and we were stuck in hospital. She was available immediately and took great care of the guys. Shared lovely pictures of my cats while on her visits. I strongly recommend her as trust worthy pet sitter.”

“Emily was amazing! I felt super confident knowing she was coming to check in on my kitty. I got lots of photos and updates, and always got a reply within the hour. Will def be booking with her again and highly recommend!”

“Airan is FANTASTIC!! SO good with our dog!! Also a lovely person to chat with and knows a lot about dogs/ animal behaviours. I do recommend her services and I will continue to use her as our preferred rover.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and have years of experience helping my partner with dog-sitting. I’m patient, reliable, and love spending time with all kinds of dogs — from energetic puppies to calm seniors. I offer in-home dog sitting, dog boarding at your place or mine, and daily walks. Whether your pup needs playtime, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I currently work full-time from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, so I can care for dogs who are comfortable being alone during that time. I’m fully available on weekends to spend the whole day with them. My partner, does dog-sitting full time and is available several days a week to help care for your pups if needed. She usually walks the pups on the days that I am working. 🌿 A calm and safe environment for your pups I have a fenced yard where dogs can stretch their legs safely, but I also love going for walks several times a day so they can explore and get plenty of exercise. The atmosphere at home is calm and caring — perfect for dogs who like to feel comfortable and relaxed. If your dog is used to being in a crate, that’s totally fine too — I’m happy to follow their routine so they feel right at home. 🐾
“Amy is wonderful! You can tell she has a genuine love of animals. She sends pics and videos so I could see how things were going which made me feel assured that my kitty was being well taken care of. Highly recommend! :)))”

This was our second booking with Barbara - and longer one at that for 10 days. Once again we were really happy with her services including her care/attention to our cats and their surroundings. She dealt with a couple unexpected incidents well and provided great check ins as part of every visit.

I can’t recommend her enough! She accommodated me at the very last minute and made the whole experience stress-free. She sent daily updates and photos, and it was clear my dogs were happy and well cared for. Knowing they were in such good hands allowed me to truly enjoy my time away.
