About: I have lifelong experience with pets, and somehow they always end up choosing me as their “favorite” person in the house. I genuinely understand their personalities and form deep connections with them. I can safely administer medication, give endless belly rubs to dogs, and I know all the classic favorite spots that make cats purr. I currently work full time from home and have a flexible schedule and a Friday off every two weeks and weekends are usually available as well. I live in a pet friendly condo with a fenced dog run area and easy access to Portage Park (pet friendly park). We own two very friendly pets, a dog and cat. Our dog has diabetes so we already do many potty breaks with him a day and administer insulin shots twice a day plus a mix of home made and prescribed food as well.

I am a stay at home mom and Travis works from home 3 out 5 days, so your pup will never be lonely. I love the excuse to get out for early morning hikes and the opportunity to walk as a family after school and in the evenings. We have a large property with lots of space to run and play and multiple beaches, including a dog park, within walking distance. And there will be no shortage of cuddles and stimulation at our house - the kids love to play and engage with all dogs. Who knows? Your pooch may even come home with some new tricks! We are comfortable with all ages, breeds and sizes and we are confident and experienced dog handlers. We truly care about providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for every dog who stays with us. When your dog is with us, they are part of the family. When you're on vacation, they'll be on vacation too! Our family is available to care for your dog 24/7! Pup care is my main gig and I have a flexible schedule. Being home with your pup or keeping them by my side is my priority. Because we only take a maximum of 2 dogs at a time, you can leave your pup knowing they are getting highly individualized care. Please note, if our calendar is showing availability, there is a chance we have 1 other dog booked who has been pre-screened to socialize well with other dogs. Our big yard has lots of space to play, however it is not fenced so we will never leave your dog outside unattended. About: My experience over the years with dogs has been with a variety of different breeds, ages and behaviors. I volunteered fostering dogs at the Victoria Humane Society in 2022 where I gained a lot of experience with different temperaments and ages/mixed breeds. The highlight of my experience was working for Island Miniature Schnauzers outside of Sooke in 2016 for 8 months. My duties were: Home Life training for adopted puppies. This provided the new owners one week of me training the puppy at my home. This included walking on leash for the first time, crate training, schedule for house training, socializing with other dogs and people to name a few.. I provided video and pictures to the new owners to keep them up to date on progress. I also took older Shnauzers who were used to farm life and adapted them to urban life by going on leashed walks, greeting new dogs and people. I also learned to groom puppies and older dogs as well. You can see in all my photo's with the Schnauzer puppies and dogs that I trained while working for IMS. Over the years I have taken care of friends/family dogs and cats at their home. I treat all animals like my very own. I massage them, comfort them them and just love them up! I have a nice sized backyard that is fully fenced for play. There are many trails, beaches and lakes that we go on each day. Depending on your dogs level of care, adjusting the cost is a flexibility I offer. I am retired and am home most of the day while caring for your pet. We walk once or 2x a day and I have a nice sized backyard. Games and training time are incorporated into our day. I aim to make it as balanced and fun as possible. I offer 2 walks a day. There are many places to walk close to my home & the galloping goose trail is behind my gate. My backyard is a good size for running and zoomies. Naps and downtime are a must for a happy healthy dog. The dogs sleep with me unless they need to be in a crate.

About: I’ve spent the past 6.5 years happily spoiling and caring for my own small dog, so I understand how important it is to give little dogs the right balance of love, attention, routine, and care. I’m very attentive to what dogs can and can’t eat, and I’m comfortable preparing specialized home-cooked meals when needed. I take pride in keeping dogs happy, healthy, clean, and well cared for, and I’ll treat your pup with the same level of care I give my own. I work remote 80% of the days, and calendar are open only for days I’m 100% home, because I understand the separation anxiety our little ones experience. Only take 1 dog at a time so each fur baby has enough love and attention. My chihuahua is fully vaccinated with annual health check up to date. I have a 2 bedroom apartment with large living room, plenty of room for them to run around. I also do 3 short walks per day for potty break and can also accommodate for indoor potty.

About: Hello, we’re Karly and Brent. We offer a safe and welcoming home environment for dogs, in our ground-level suite with direct, walk-out access to a fully fenced backyard, which allows us to have exclusive door-to-yard access for seamless potty breaks and supervised playtime. We are conveniently located just five minutes from Thetis Lake and Mill Hill, providing excellent opportunities for outdoor activity and exploration. Animals have always been an important part of our lives. Karly grew up with a loyal yellow Labrador, and Brent was raised in a home filled with beloved family pets. Today, we share our home with Ace, our beautiful five-year-old Goldendoodle. We have dedicated significant time to his training and development. Ace is a well-behaved and very social. He loves all other dogs and animals. We both work from home Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which allows us to provide consistent supervision and companionship. Each morning we go for a 30 to 45 minute walk and in the evenings we prioritize walking ace for 1 to 2 hours. On weekends, we spend much of our time exploring the mountains and trails of Vancouver Island, often seeking out new local hikes. We truly enjoy welcoming other dogs into our home. Socialization, regular exercise, and individualized care are priorities for us. Our goal is to ensure that every dog in our care feels safe, relaxed, well-exercised, and completely at home. I am currently working full time 8:15 to 4:30pm with a flex day every other Monday. I am available in the mornings before work or the evenings after work as well as on Flex-Mondays, and Saturday and Sunday all day. We live in a beautiful 2 bedroom garden suite in the lower half of a home we own with our family. Our home has full walk out access to a fenced backyard. We are also a 5 minute walk to the Thetis lake and Mill Hill, and a 5 minute drive to a dog a park.

“Ella had a fun time with Criofan. She was happy to leave me and play with the other dogs on the property and she was happy at pick up time. Criofan was easy to deal with. She responded to texts promptly and eagerly set up a meet and greet time beforehand. She sent me photos to show what Ella was doing while under her care. If your dog likes lots of space and other dogs to play with then this could be a place for them!”
