About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking for many years, I have experience with all pets. I have worked with all different sizes and breeds, I have also worked with different temperaments. I’ve dealt with shy and timid dogs, to aggressively not good with other animals or humans, and of course loving and super friendly dogs. Pets are my passion and I only have what’s best interest for them :) I have tons of references if wanted, I am super flexible and just happy to help with your furry family members. I am happy to just drop by and give a snuggle or out for a bathroom break, and I am also happy to stay at your home for as long as you need. About: I have had animals my entire life and have been extremely involved in training and ensuring they get the best care possible! I have done a lot of dog training in reactivity, separation anxiety, and use positive reinforcement to ensure that the relationship between me and my pet(s) is built on love and trust. With every new pet, I let them approach me and I build a foundation of trust so that obedience is not something forced but given! I work part time but I have blocked out those days so that it won’t interfere, but other wise I work 7 hour shifts so if your pet is staying when I am working, they would have to be comfortable being home alone for those hours I care for my pets by using positive reinforcement and consistency. Consistency is key and is very beneficial for ensuring my pets can succeed in all aspects of their lives. I understand dog body language and know when to approach, let them be, or let them come to me. It’s about listening to boundaries, just like with us humans!

About: As an interior designer, I spend my days creating spaces that feel calm, comfortable, and welcoming, and I’ve always taken the same thoughtful approach with the animals I spend time with. I’ve loved animals my whole life, and spending time with them has always brought me a genuine sense of happiness. About: I have at least 10 years of experience with dogs, I have had all kinds of animals growing up and currently have one dog. I have dog walked, dog sat, and watched overnight for my family, friends, as well as friends of friends and family friends. I get along very well with most animals and love to be around them. I know their needs and what they can and cannot have. I am currently working part time 2 days a week , so I can do week days and weekends depending on day, mostly at anytime but we will always have a chat before hand. With multiple cooling stations and AC to keep everyone comfortable, your fur baby will feel right at home — even welcome to snuggle up and sleep beside me! So I have 4 days out of the week that is centred around animals. I have my own dog that I take for daily walks and training sessions so your fur babies will get lots of play time and exercise. I have a flexible summer schedule with only occasional classes, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I always do my best to accommodate each dog’s needs and their owner’s schedule. Pet care is already part of my daily routine, including walks, outdoor time, and lots of attention. When caring for dogs in my home, they have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, as well as companionship from my two friendly dogs. I also have a nearby hiking trail, which is perfect for walks and added exercise. When caring for pets in their own home, I stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

Sooke Hills Wilderness Park is just 3mins away. Note there is a set of stairs leading up to my living space so for those dogs that can’t do stairs I might not be a good fit. I am available to sit at your home though if it’s easier. I’m currently working from home writing my film. My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time for play and walks. Your pet is always my first priority though and I will customize my days around their schedule and care. Dogs are always leashed and well cared for when out for walks. I don’t have a yard or anywhere they can escape from. Their safety will always be my first priority.

Mocha is a very friendly, well-socialized dog who adapts well to different personalities. He can be calm and respectful or playful and energetic depending on your dog’s vibe. I’m very attentive to routines and will carefully follow all of your instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walk preferences, crate training, and any special needs.
