About: I’ve had cats my entire life and have always been passionate about understanding and caring for them. I’ve cared for friends’ and loved ones’ cats and dogs, as well as my cleaning clients’ pets, and genuinely love getting to spend time with animals. I’m comfortable with all aspects of cat care, including feeding, litter care, grooming, play, and medication (including oral medication when discussed in advance). I’m especially attentive to feline body language and adjust my approach based on signs of anxiety, fear, overstimulation, or discomfort. My approach is gentle and cat led. I follow a consent based approach to interaction, allowing cats to decide when they’re ready for touch, and building trust at their pace. I’m also very detail oriented and genuinely appreciate thorough care instructions. I’m happy to provide photos and updates and will treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. As a longtime entrepreneur first with a house cleaning business to now being in private practice as a counsellor, I’m responsible, dependable, and have a flexible schedule. I’d love the opportunity to spend more time with cats and provide them with thoughtful, individualized care while their pet parents are away. I currently work in private practice as a counsellor, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to build pet care naturally into my week. I’m able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for and enjoy having the opportunity to spend time with them throughout the day. I’m comfortable working with individual care routines and am happy to discuss specific timing, visit frequency, and care needs with each pet parent. My goal is to make pet care a consistent and enjoyable part of my routine while ensuring each cat or dog receives the attention and care they’re used to. I like to make drop in visits feel like more than just checking the essentials. I’ll greet your pet first, take care of their food, medication and litter, then spend time playing, grooming, and giving them the attention they enjoy. I love learning each animal's favourite toys, quirks, and routines, and I’m happy to stay a little longer for extra companionship when needed. I’ll also make sure their environment is comfortable before I leave, whether that means making a cozy spot, putting on some Cat TV with a sleep timer, or taking care of plants and fish if requested. My goal is for you to come home feeling that your pets were cared for with the same thoughtfulness you would have given them yourself.

About: My journey with dogs started early. I have loved and cared for my very own dog since I was 10 years old. This lifelong experience taught me how to read dog body language. I truly understand their routines, signals, and emotional needs. As I grew older, I naturally began pet sitting for my friends. I have successfully managed everything from high-energy outdoor walks to quiet, cozy evenings at home. I know exactly how to adapt to each unique pet's personality. I am currently working part-time and I am available Wednesday and thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, as well as on Saturdays from 11:00 PM to 6:00 PM When caring for pets at my home, I provide a safe, fully supervised, and loving environment with plenty of playtime and attention. For services at your home, I strictly follow your pet's regular routine, ensure your property is completely secure, and send regular photo updates so you can have total peace of mind.

About: I am a young professional who loves the outdoors. I spend most of my time being very active outside. I enjoy hiking, running or long walks on the beach in all types of weather! I have always loved dogs and have spent many years being around them and caring for them. Growing up, I had dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters and guinea pigs, mice, frogs etc. I often volunteer to take friend's and familie's dogs for walks in my spare time or pet sit over longer periods of time. I genuinely enjoy the company and energy that dogs bring. I have a life long ambition to care for animals who have been neglected or poorly treated. Apart from being active, I also enjoy downtime/ snuggle time with older/less energetic animals. I have a gentle touch and a lot of love to share for 4 legged friends, no matter the size or temperament! I have a large property (a dogs paradise!) but I am also happy to go on as many or as little dog walks/fetch dates as needed for whatever length is best suited for your dog. I have lots of experience with anxious animals or unsocialized pets so therefore I am confident I can keep your fur baby safe.

About: I have always wanted to look after animals since I was a kid. My husband and I fostered rescue dogs in Alberta to help get adopted. I have also cared for a variety of small caged animals over the years. As your house sitter, I will be present in your home for the entire duration of the stay. This is great if your pup does not like to be left alone. I am able to administer simple medications if needed. I am also able to care for small caged animals in my own home and we can discuss this arrangement if you are needing this service. House/pet sitting is my priority. When you hire me, I will not need to leave your residence for other employment. This is great if your pup does not like to be left alone. I will care for your pets following the daily routine that you have already established for them. If the pets are used to a morning walk then I will take them on a morning walk if that is preferred. If your pets are happy to simply play in their yard while you are away I would be happy to do that as well. I usually like to arrange a short meet and greet prior to the first overnight stay to familiarize myself with your pets and their home.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for and raised animals of all kinds, from puppies and rescue dogs to farm animals and small pets. My own rescue dog, Indigo, taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive care as I supported her through both IVDD and cancer. Through that experience, I became very comfortable with medication routines, mobility support, changing needs, and providing calm, loving care through every stage of an animal’s life. I’ve also raised puppies and lived on a farm where I regularly cared for large farm dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for many different animals, including parrots, snakes, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and other small pets. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, understood, and cared for while their owners are away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m also a very active person and usually spend hours outside walking every day, so I’d genuinely love some furry companionship along the way - whether your dog prefers long adventures, slower sniff walks, or lots of playtime and attention. I live in a detached home with a fully fenced backyard and no other animals in the home, creating a calm and safe environment for your pet. I’m an intuitive energy ( Reiki Master ) healer which allows me to connect and understand your dog’s needs at a deeper level. If your dog is nervous or afraid of new people and/ or surroundings, i’m able to calm them with a little energy treatment. I also have many years of teaching and practicing first aid under my belt, as well as 11years of caring for my first dog Charlie. Over all, I have a tremendous love and understanding of animals, which I believe makes me a great choice for caring for your beloved fur babies. For overnight / daycare : we live in a coach house in Langford BC - a close drive to Royal Oak Beach. It’s such a beautiful, safe neighbourhood to explore and go for walks. Sooke Hills Wilderness Park is just 3mins away. Note there is a set of stairs leading up to my living space so for those dogs that can’t do stairs I might not be a good fit. I am available to sit at your home though if it’s easier. I’m currently working from home writing my film. My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time for play and walks. Your pet is always my first priority though and I will customize my days around their schedule and care. Dogs are always leashed and well cared for when out for walks. I don’t have a yard or anywhere they can escape from. Their safety will always be my first priority.
