To start, my dog Callie is very anxious and needed someone who understood how to act/treat fearful dogs. She knew how to be around Callie right away. I was really scared leaving Callie, but they were so understanding and were not afraid of taking on a dog with anxiety as they had one themselves. They would constantly update me while I was away and followed all the instructions I gave them. Unfortunately, to no fault of their own, Callie got scared and bolted. When I say they did everything in their power to get her back, I mean it. They treated Callie like their dog - they rallied the entire community and resources to get her back. And they did.
