Experienced pet care in Sooke
I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, and have done house sitting, dog walking, and cared for many cats and dogs with medical needs. My husband grew up with dogs and loves all types of animals. Our dog Waffles, who we recently had to say goodbye to, had an autoimmune disease, and got cancer at the end of her life, so we are very experienced with medication routines.

We have a fully fenced-in back yard, whatever routines, medications, or boundaries you have with your pet, we are happy to do. At least one of us is home almost all of the time, and we really enjoy providing love and care to pets

Our dog Mia stayed with Maia and Joshua for a second time and they provided her with incredible care. Reliable with medication twice a day and extra loving!

Wonderful sitter! First time sending my 7 months puppy for boarding and it’s an amazing experience! Ava is well cared for and comes home clean and fluffy! Scheduling a meet & greet before boarding is definitely recommended!
Maia and Joshua made our time away from our pup as stress-free as possible with daily photo updates and sharing any concerns if any. They followed our instructions perfectly and our pup soaked in all their love and attention. I should stop speaking too highly of them or else they'll be too hard to book for us! haha
Maia and Joshua were awesome for my dog Socks. She can be quite uncomfortable and anxious with new people but Maia and Joshua were very accommodating! They took her on multiple walks in the time she was there and sent many pictures. Will be going back next time I need a sitter!
Maia and Joshua took excellent care of our dog while we were away. They were able to give her the medication she needs and manage her anxiety and behavioural concerns with other dogs with ease. With all the cuddles and pets our pup got, we would not hesitate to leave her with them again. She might even like their house better than ours!

Dates de la garde
My husband works from home four days a week and I work very close by. When our dog Waffles was alive we would take her out in the morning before breakfast, my husband would play with her to wear her out so he could focus on work for a while. Then she would get a walk at my lunch break, and then my husband would take her for another walk at the end of his workday. She got three small meals a day, as well as medications. We both love hanging out with all types of animals, though Waffles did not like cats, so we never had one in the house while she was alive.
