Availability
I work from home full time from 7-3:30 M-F so will have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I have my own cat and dog, so yours will have to get along. Your dog will join my dog on a long walk every day after work and a hike on the weekends. Although I am home most of the day, I am unable to provide constant care (24/7) as I do occasionally have things I’ll need to leave the house for (up to 5 hours). I’m available for drop-ins during the week from 6am-7am and 4pm-7pm. I can make occasional lunch hours work too. Weekends from 6am-7pm Daycare is from 7am-7pm, early drop off/late pick up for an additional fee.

Safety, trust & environment
*I accept dogs in my home up to 60lbs and crate-trained puppies over 6months* exceptions can be made for mellow bigger dogs that don’t pull on leash. Sorry, but I am not experienced with highly reactive dogs. I have a fully fenced yard but your dog will never be left unsupervised. I would prefer your dog to be crate-trained or at least be okay to be gated in the dining/living room area at night as I have a strict no dogs on the bed overnight rule. I have years of veterinary experience and am quite comfortable giving all types of medication (oral, sub-q, IM). Your dog will never be off-leash in my care (unless ok’d by you) & I will always be careful with doors that open to the outside to avoid escapees. Your pet(s) will be the only pet (other than my own) in my care at a time. My home and pets are very quiet and mellow, so a dog that barks a lot or has separation anxiety would not be a good fit. **A short trial stay (3-4hrs or 1 night) is required for any new dogs that will be staying more than 4 nights.

Information Carrie C. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet require medication? How much and at what time? How much and when do you feed them? Has your dog been left at a sitters house before? How did they do? Has your dog lived with or been introduced to a cat before?
A typical day
I work from home, so your dog will be chilling & playing with my dog while I work & then we will go for an hour walk when I’m done. If I’m visiting your pets in your home, I will feed, scoop litter, give fresh water and provide lots of love & pets.

Reviews

Carrie is fantastic with my two kitties (senior and kitten). Excellent communication from first contact to end of booking. And bonus: adorable photos!

Thank you so much Carrie! She went out of her way to offer us service, and did an excellent job! Very grateful for her care and kindness.

Carrie was always very punctual and she was also thorough in her descriptions of the visits, including sending photos. Thank you!

Carrie was a great pet sitter for my four cats, and I could tell she was very experienced with cat behaviour and medical issues. I would book her again without hesitation. I knew my cats were in good hands while I was away on vacation.
