“Andrea was great! I was traveling abroad and Andrea kept me updated on how my dogs were doing during their stay. She took very good care of them and I would definitely use her services again. Thank you!”

“Carrie gave our rescue pup feel safe and welcome in her home. We appreciate all the photos of him enjoying his mini vacation, during walks, naps, and treat time! She really went above and beyond for our sensitive little guy. Thank you, Carrie!”

“My husky was so well taken care of by Kelsey and her family! She came back to me happy and tired 🥰 Kelsey was so good about sending pictures and updates too, which I loved. Will definitely be dropping aloo off again when I return to Victoria”

“Guinness really enjoyed his stay with Kevin and Kayla. He was comfortable with them from the first meet and greet, which made me feel confident in choosing them to care for him while I was away. Communication was great and made my booking super easy. I’ll definitely book again!”

“This worked out great for our trip to Victoria! Louann's home is just minutes to the ferry dock so we wouldn't have to rush back home after a long drive late into the evening to pick our pup up in our hometown. Her yard is nicely fenced, tidy, with plenty of exploring to do for our curious and mischievous pup. We got him back he was like it was no big deal seeing us - didn't seem to miss us - so that is a big win!”

“Finding the right caretaker for my girl Rosie - who can be very shy and nervous around new places and spaces, and experience stress while we are apart. I wanted to ensure she would be with the best caretaker, and this was particularly important as I planned to be away for an extended period over the holidays. Thankfully, I came across Heather’s reviews and was able to connect with them before boarding Rosie. This provided me with a sense of relief and assurance to know she would be in a loving home. Rosie experienced an exceptional level of care and love and grew comfortable and content under Heather’s care. From daily walks and adventures to routine brushing, and homemade broth; Rosie was such a happy girl! Her sweet, loving, and active personality got to shine including her beautiful coat! Beyond grateful I had connected with Heather - I highly recommend her services. We will certainly be repeat customers.”

“Criofan is absolutely amazing with dogs! It’s so clear how much she truly loves and cares for animals. She was incredibly dedicated to our dogs’ well-being, safety, and happiness the entire time. Her dog Albert was the perfect companion and brought so much joy, exercise, and positive energy to our dogs. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Bianca was amazing! Having another dog was so great and the picture updates set our minds at ease. She’ll be bored back home with us! We will definitely use Bianca again!!!”

“Amelia and Thomas were great guardians for my border collie Seeka! They watched him for a few nights and gave me regular updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. Seeka seemed to get along great with their pup Biscuit as well. Amelia and Thomas were easy to communicate with and they made the whole process seamless. I hope to have them sit Seeka again this summer while on the island”

“Rachel and her family were great with Arya. They did walks, played fetch, had time with another furry friend, and sent me pictures while I was away. I would definitely recommend her and will be connecting with her in the future for my fur baby's care. Thank you so much to you and your family!”

“Audrey was absolutely amazing!!! She did a meet and greet at a park before booking, which I super appreciated, and then was easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures and updates throughout her stay!!! I’m an anxious dog parent so having her look after Roxy and treat her as her own was perfect. I absolutely would book her again!!!!!”

“Amy is a wonderful dog sitter, and just a kind person overall. She took such good care of our young Nero, his first long stretch away from home. She was patient and shared pictures with us every day, giving us huge piece of mind. She was also honest- that he was in high need of attention, maybe more than we realized, which is helpful to know as we continue our training journey. I highly recommend Amy. It is truly evident she loves dogs and will spend quality time with them in nature and at home. I’m sorry he stole her cheese!”

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my high-energy working dog! She was communicative, send awesome pictures throughout the stay, and was just wonderful in general. Thank you Michelle!”

“I needed a boarder last minute for a trip and I’m so happy Daisy took Mijo in, he had an awesome time! He went for walks and played his heart out. I can tell mijo was lovingly cared for while I was away and I would definitely board mijo again with Daisy. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Max had the absolute most best time with Chinel, Christian and there little boy Benny! I got so many amazing pictures of them out on walks and cuddles at home. 10/10 would recommend them watching your fur baby!”

About: I have always wanted to look after animals since I was a kid. My husband and I fostered rescue dogs in Alberta to help get adopted. I have also cared for a variety of small caged animals over the years. As your house sitter, I will be present in your home for the entire duration of the stay. This is great if your pup does not like to be left alone. I am able to administer simple medications if needed. I am also able to care for small caged animals in my own home and we can discuss this arrangement if you are needing this service. House/pet sitting is my priority. When you hire me, I will not need to leave your residence for other employment. This is great if your pup does not like to be left alone. I will care for your pets following the daily routine that you have already established for them. If the pets are used to a morning walk then I will take them on a morning walk if that is preferred. If your pets are happy to simply play in their yard while you are away I would be happy to do that as well. I usually like to arrange a short meet and greet prior to the first overnight stay to familiarize myself with your pets and their home.

“Carrie was wonderful with Cooper who was a little anxious about being without me because we have been traveling for 2 weeks. It was an early drop off for a fishing charter and she was wonderful with cooper. I can’t thank her enough for being the support the cooper needed. Would highly recommend!”
“Adina had great communication, we had a meet & greet before daycare was needed to make sure her home was a good fit for my dog. My dog, Akira was happy when I dropped her off on the day of doggy daycare and was reluctant to leave when I picked her up. This was a great sign that she was well taken care of and I will definitely book with Adina again soon.”

“We were so happy with Etienne’s services. He was very accommodating to our schedule and locations for drop/off and pick up. He has a chill, friendly vibe, so Router quickly took to him. He walked him and sent us pics while we relaxed at the spa and went for lunch. It was a great worry free day. We will definitely connect with Etienne the next time in town. Thanks again Etienne!”

About: Hello, nice to meet you! I'm Claudie, a 31-year-old from Montreal. As a freelance graphic designer, I have the flexibility to work from home, which allows me to offer pet sitting services. I also have a car, so I can take your pet to the vet or any necessary appointments while you're away. I live an active lifestyle that includes surfing, Pilates, hiking, and running, so I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors - especially with furry companions by my side. I often travel with my long-time partner, Thomas, a 31-year-old teacher from Canada who’s always chasing the next great wave. As a freelancer working from home, I have the flexibility to change my environment while enjoying the company of pets. I love the balance it brings - caring for animals while maintaining my work routine and incorporating them into my active lifestyle (hiking, walking, running). I also live in a house in East Sooke, close to many forest and seaside walking trails. My backyard is surrounded by nature, and I can easily secure a pet on a leash so they can safely enjoy the sun while I work outside beside them. If a pet’s routine is quite structured, I adapt my work and activity schedule to match it. Otherwise, I usually start the day with something active (running, walking, or hiking) and go for another walk in the afternoon. Since I work from home, pets always benefit from my company, whether I’m working indoors or outside. I’m also just a text or call away, and I love sending daily updates and photos to owners. Having a car makes me very flexible in case of an emergency.
“Jules and Cody were amazing caregivers to Poppy. They had great communication and were accommodating. They seemed to love dogs and took our dog on many trail walks. Can’t wait to use their services again.”

About: I've loved and cared for animals for over 15 years. Growing up, I had both cats and dogs, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, so I always take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a mom, I'm patient, responsible, and attentive to details. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I work from home, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. If your pet enjoys companionship, they're welcome to relax beside me in my home office while I work. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and lots of affection. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and never left alone for long periods. I enjoy having pets around, and I treat every one of them as part of the family while they're with me. My home offers a safe and pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, as well as a large open green space directly in front of the house that's perfect for walks, sniffing, and exercise. Every pet has different needs, so I always follow the owner's instructions regarding routines, feeding, exercise, sleeping arrangements, and any special care requirements. If your dog is crate-trained or you prefer them to be crated during certain times, I'm happy to accommodate that. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible by maintaining their normal routine. I also have two young boys, ages 10 and 3, so I ask that pets staying in our home are comfortable around respectful children. We believe in creating a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe, welcome, and part of the family.
About: My experience over the years with dogs has been with a variety of different breeds, ages and behaviors. I volunteered fostering dogs at the Victoria Humane Society 2 yrs ago (2022) where I gained a lot of experience with different temperaments and ages/mixed breeds. When they were adopted, it broke my heart so I adopted a beagle, Copper, in 2023. The highlight of my experience was working for Island Miniature Schnauzers outside of Sooke in 2016 for 8 months. My duties were: Home Life training for adopted puppies. This provided the new owners one week of me training the puppy at my home. This included walking on leash for the first time, crate training, schedule for house training, socializing with other dogs and people to name a few.. I provided video and pictures to the new owners to keep them up to date on progress. I also took older Shnauzers who were used to farm life and adapted them to urban life by going on leashed walks, greeting new dogs and people. I also learned to groom puppies and older dogs as well. You can see in all my photo's with the Schnauzer puppies and dogs that I trained while working for IMS. Over the years I have taken care of friends/family dogs and cats at their home. I treat all animals like my very own. I massage them, comfort them them and just love them up! I have a nice sized fenced in backyard for play. There are many trails, beaches and lakes that we go on each day. I'd like to meet first to see if Copper and I are a good fit for you and your fur baby. Please see my IG account for most of the dogs in my care starting in 2016. (copper_the_beagle_trofimuk) Depending on your dogs level of care, adjusting the cost is a flexibility I offer. We walk once or 2x a day and I have a nice sized backyard. Games and training time are incorporated into our day. I aim to make it as balanced and fun as possible. I offer 2 walks a day. There are many places to walk close to my house & the galloping goose trail is behind my gate. My backyard is a good size for wrestling, running and playing. I am currently revamping my yard to make it more dog friendly. Naps and downtime are a must for a happy healthy dog. The dogs sleep with me unless they need to be in a crate.
“Vera and Jorge took excellent care of my dog Disco. They were flexible, communicative, and when I picked disco up she was tired and happy! I will most definitely be using them again for future dog sitting and recommend! They also sent great photos of Disco throughout the day :)”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for and raised animals of all kinds, from puppies and rescue dogs to farm animals and small pets. My own rescue dog, Indigo, taught me so much about patience, compassion, and attentive care as I supported her through both IVDD and cancer. Through that experience, I became very comfortable with medication routines, mobility support, changing needs, and providing calm, loving care through every stage of an animal’s life. I’ve also raised puppies and lived on a farm where I regularly cared for large farm dogs and cats. Over the years, I’ve had experience caring for many different animals, including parrots, snakes, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and other small pets. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, understood, and cared for while their owners are away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, consistency, and care throughout the day. I’m also a very active person and usually spend hours outside walking every day, so I’d genuinely love some furry companionship along the way - whether your dog prefers long adventures, slower sniff walks, or lots of playtime and attention. I live in a detached home with a fully fenced backyard and no other animals in the home, creating a calm and safe environment for your pet. I take animal care very seriously and have always treated every pet - whether my own or someone else’s - with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love. I cared for my sweet dog Indigo through both IVDD and cancer, which gave me firsthand experience supporting animals with medical needs, mobility limitations, medication routines, and changing comfort levels. That experience taught me that every animal is unique, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual routines, personalities, and care needs to help them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 3 indoor cats and caring for my grandparents German Shepherds. I fostered many dogs and cats with my roommates in University, and worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2+ years. I’ve rescued a senior dog from the SPCA (who since passed) and now have a 3.5yr Rottweiler. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can make myself available at anytime needed to provide care for your pets. A typical day with my dog consists morning potty, breakfast, long walk, indoor mental play time, supper, outside potty and more play time. It’s not uncommon to go for off-leash walks in a park. Another activity we enjoy is mental enrichment - either a mind game with treats or frozen kong. I have a condo in Westhills. There are many parks and trails nearby. I also have a SUV I use to take the dogs on adventures to the beach, hikes, etc. As for care in your home; I like to maintain whatever schedule you have!
About: Hello Pet Parents! My name is Kassie and I have been caring for animals ranging from hamsters to cats and dogs since I was a young child. I've had dogs and cats throughout my life and if you choose me to watch your babies, they will be well taken care of! I work from home so my schedule is flexible! I love long walks and can throw a ball for hours! If I am boarding your pet, I do have a 1 year old tuxedo cat in the home. He is incredible. He loves dogs and cats and has been the best foster dad in the past! I look forward to hearing about your fur babies! I work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. I would walk your pets or come to your home to check on/feed them before work and after work if I were attending to them at your home. If they’re at my home, I have the flexibility to play with them at any point in the day & take them out In my home, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment free of hazards, with cozy resting spots, secure outdoor access (if needed), and plenty of stimulation to keep them happy and relaxed. I follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding to playtime, and ensure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. Whether they’re here for a day or a week, they’re treated like family.
About: I have been pet sitting and dog walking for many years, I have experience with all pets. I have worked with all different sizes and breeds, I have also worked with different temperaments. I’ve dealt with shy and timid dogs, to aggressively not good with other animals or humans, and of course loving and super friendly dogs. Pets are my passion and I only have what’s best interest for them :) I have tons of references if wanted, I am super flexible and just happy to help with your furry family members. I am happy to just drop by and give a snuggle or out for a bathroom break, and I am also happy to stay at your home for as long as you need. I currently work part time, my job is flexible so I am able to check on the pets anytime during the day! I am always home by 3pm so plenty times for adventures and snuggles! I am very attentive to pets needs, I love playtime, snuggles, and adventures! I live by lots of trails and beaches perfect for the Adventurous pups!
About: Hello! My name is Isabella and I’m originally from Mexico. I’ve grown up in a home surrounded by dogs, which sparked my lifelong passion for caring for animals. I just graduated from Ecology at Thompson Rivers University and I’m also an active volunteer at local animal shelters. These experiences have deepened my understanding of animal behaviour and well being. I have over 7 years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter, working with a wide range of breeds—from small, energetic pups to larger, strong dogs like Labradors. My top priority is always the well-being, safety, and happiness of your pet. I love going for long walks, playing, and making sure each pet feels loved and secure in my care. I am happy to look after your dog in your home to ensure the health and safety of all animals I look after. I’m excited to meet your furry friend and promise to keep you updated with photos and videos while you're away! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine as I have all weekdays and weekend free. As a recent graduate, I am currently looking for a job so I will be home all day taking care of your furry ones. My previous experience in my Mom's dog sitting company has given me the tools to provide the best possible care of the furry pets. I provide food, fresh water, and any medications needed at appropriate times, following the given schedule to optimise the pet’s wellbeing. I also personalise the care for each pet, taking into consideration their age, health conditions, energy levels, etc. I like to keep them entertained by playing with them and taking them on walks if agreed with you first. My walks always prioritise safety, providing the best experience possible for you and your pets. Letting them take their time while smelling plants and nature is crucial to ensure they enjoy the most. I offer on leash and off leash walks depending on your personal preference.
About: Hi! My name is sarah, and I would love to care for your furry family member while you’re away. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day and will never be left alone for long periods. As a dedicated pet owner with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, I understand the importance of providing reliable, attentive care. I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, administering oral medications if needed, and accommodating your dog’s individual routines and preferences. I’m also happy to provide references from previous pet care experiences upon request. I share my home with my friendly 7-year-old, 40-pound dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and has a calm, easygoing personality. Because I live in a condo without a yard, I make sure dogs receive regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention to keep them happy and comfortable. I understand that every dog has their own routine and unique needs, and I strive to provide a safe, loving environment that feels as close to home as possible. Whether your pup enjoys cuddling on the couch, going for walks, or simply relaxing nearby while I work, I’ll make sure they receive the care and affection they deserve. I also know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone new, so I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates throughout their stay. Clear communication is important to me, and I’ll keep you informed so you can feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! I work full time from home. 1 sweet dog . I live in a condo but we go for 3 walks away, our lunch time walk is an hour, in the mornings and normally to the dog park after work, but that’s only if your dog is comfortable with dog parks. I have a sweet rescue dog. I’m at home full time and would love another pup to hangout with us in the day or over nights

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my high-energy working dog! She was communicative, send awesome pictures throughout the stay, and was just wonderful in general. Thank you Michelle!”

“Adrian took great care of my little kitty over the weekend. She was able to send lots of photos and updates which was much appreciated. I would absolutely book another stay with her.”

“Wonderful people! Very accommodating with a meet & greet, drop off and pick up times and kept me updated how the night was going. My dog was comfortable there and very relaxed when I picked her up. Great experience, super glad they were available!”

“Tiana is great!! She is one of the best Rover caregivers I’ve ever worked with. We are in Sidney for just a couple of months, and I’m so glad I found her. She is very quick to respond and very easy to work with. She has a great fenced yard and friendly pups. Ben played all weekend. Tiana also sends lots of pics. We were never left wondering how Ben was doing because pics showed up multiple times a day. We look forward to working with her in the near future.”

“My Bernese Mtn Dog, Luna, stayed with Monica for a week in August 2025. Despite the hot weather, Luna was cooled by the well-treed secure back yard and AC in the house. Their location in a quiet area with walks in the forest made it the perfect place for our dog. Monica and her partner were excellent, and we will use them for sure in the future! Highly recommended!”

“Kim and her family took such amazing care of Parker while we were away for a couple of days. From the moment he arrived, they treated him like one of their own. He was included in family activities, enjoyed lots of walks, attended the kids' soccer games, and was showered with attention, treats, and plenty of belly rubs. It was clear from the photos and updates Kim sent that Parker was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. Knowing he was being so well cared for gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We are incredibly grateful for the love and kindness shown to Parker and would highly recommend Kim and her family to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and welcoming home for their furry family member. Parker can't wait for his next visit!”
