Over the years, I’ve gained experience helping friends, neighbours, and clients with dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight care, including caring for a senior blind dog over the course of a summer. I offer 30, 45, and 60 minute walks and prefer smaller groups (2–3 dogs max) so each dog receives proper attention, safety, and care during walks. About: I’ve been looking after and interacting with animals of all types, furred & otherwise, since I was able to stand up say hi! Well versed in sitting, walking (or jogging), playing, and providing care in general for dogs, cats & rabbits (well maybe not walking the latter two as much) for both friends and family, I'm sure I can provide the care and attention you desire for your animals as well. My most current long-term care experience is with a rescue rabbit I share a home with. I've learned a lot about animal care, respect, and boundaries by carefully observing body language and learning his needs. I enjoy learning more about his quirks and teaching him new tricks. In addition to the bunny, I currently reside with a few creepy-crawlies! Part-time hours during my weekdays currently often leaves me quite flexible, especially afternoons, for walks, check-ins or play-time! About: I have been around animals my whole life. From BIG to small, from scaly to silky, my experience is vast and I LOVE them all! I trained my puppy Owen, and now 16 years later I'm assisting him in his old age. In 2001 I fostered a stray cat who birthed my kitten Tiny and two others. I had Tiny for 18 glorious years. Taleah was absolutely incredible with my two cats (including one very high energy kitten) and rabbit. She was kind enough to step in last minute when my sitter fell through and took such good care of the animals and house. Up and beyond! Ashley took care of my two cats while I was away. This was my first time leaving my cats behind with a sitter and I am glad it was Ashley. One of my cat seemed extremely comfortable in the pics with her around. Ashley even made efforts to look for my other cat, the shy one, and sent me pics from it's hiding place. This review is for the series of 'get-to-know-you' drop-ins Gwynn and I scheduled before I was away for a week that they helped with. My pup is very barky right now and it can be intimidating for some people, but Gwynn and I managed to move through this phase with intention and ease. My little Luga quickly warmed to Gwynn, and after only a couple of brief visits together Luga quickly learned that it is in fact a very HAPPY occasion to see Gwynn ;) This phase of the relationship-building between Gwynn and Luga was a bit anxiety-inducing for me, but Gwynn is so professional and experienced and compassionate and in command of energies that everything went according to plan, and I could not be more grateful for it.
