About: I’ve had hands-on experience caring for cats my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with their routines, personalities, and needs. In addition to cat care, I’ve walked neighbours’ dogs and I’ve also volunteered through the Elder Dog program, where I helped walk dogs for seniors. This has given me experience with pets of different temperaments and energy levels, and an understanding of the importance of gentle, consistent care. I take pride in being attentive, dependable, and respectful of each pet’s individual needs. I’m available for boarding on weekends, and I work from home on some days, which allows flexibility for pet care during the week. I’m also available most weekdays after 4:00 pm for walks, check-ins, or sitting. I provide a calm, safe, quiet and pet-friendly environment in my home, with a large apartment and easy access to outdoor areas and walking trails.

About: I’ve been looking after and interacting with animals of all types, furred & otherwise, since I was able to stand up say hi! Well versed in sitting, walking (or jogging), playing, and providing care in general for dogs, cats & rabbits (well maybe not walking the latter two as much) for both friends and family, I'm sure I can provide the care and attention you desire for your animals as well. My most current long-term care experience is with a rescue rabbit I share a home with. I've learned a lot about animal care, respect, and boundaries by carefully observing body language and learning his needs. I enjoy learning more about his quirks and teaching him new tricks. In addition to the bunny, I currently reside with a few creepy-crawlies! Part-time hours during my weekdays currently often leaves me quite flexible, especially afternoons, for walks, check-ins or play-time! I am mainly involved in contract gig-work, which does fill some of my weekends, so I’m not always available Mon, or Th-Su, but happy to fit it in when available! Please check my calendar or ask about availability! I regularly enjoy going for walks (long, or short) around Victoria, so I'm regularly available for, and interested in, bringing a four-legged friend along for the adventure! I’m a firm believer in getting down to an animal’s level when interacting with them, especially with new introductions and being in an animal's home space, and would do everything possible to make an animal feel comfortable with new human interactions. I take animals' trust seriously and do my utmost to keep eyes open and respond to their needs to maintain those relationships. Making animals as comfortable as possible is my goal, and I'll do my best to keep you up-to-date on your furred friend's experiences while I'm looking after them on your behalf. I'm also happy to maintain, to the best of my ability, your pet's routines and expectations, and will touch base with you to learn as much as I can about your pet to set myself up for success! About: I currently have a Sphynx (high maintenance cat breed with very specific needs) so I’m comfortable with tailored routines, diet restrictions, and reading an animal’s particular quirks.. I also grew up with dogs (multiple Border Collies) so I know the energy and exercise they need too. Whether your pet wants constant attention, space, or a specific routine, I adjust to what actually works for them :) I am currently working part time, so I have free time in my week and would love to drop in and take care of your animal(s). Typically I work Thursday-Saturday or Sunday, but am happy to accommodate as best I can if you need support during those days. In your home, I stick closely to their feeding schedule, walks, and any specific instructions, staying attentive to their comfort in their own environment throughout each visit. *I have a cat in my home, (2 bd duplex house). I am happy to have your pet stay in my home if they’re patient/friendly towards cats and my cat gets along with them -would need to discuss/meet & greet prior to me hosting*

I have a full-time job but can schedule time in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings that will work for your pet. Weekends are more open but don’t hesitate to ask if dates and times will work. My schedule is flexible, and I’m typically home mornings and evenings and away for shorter periods during the afternoon. I offer 30, 45, and 60 minute walks and prefer smaller groups (2–3 dogs max) so each dog receives proper attention, safety, and care during walks. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages so you can feel relaxed knowing how your pet is doing throughout the day. I’m attentive, reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely love building trust with both pets and their owners. Cats have daily litter cleaning and scheduled feedings at their usual times, while dogs get two walks per day, potty breaks, feeding, and plenty of pets and love. For dog walks: I make sure they’re happy and refreshed with potty breaks, light grooming if needed so they’re clean when they return, and treats or feedings as directed. My goal is always to keep pets comfortable, cared for, and loved just like they are with you.
