About: I consider myself lucky to have grown up with pets! My mom and I adopted our first dog, Keisha, when I was eight years old. Since then, I’ve helped raise my family’s various kittens, and train our dogs - including herding and guardian breeds. I’ve got a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats simultaneously, which is always fun (or at least interesting). I regularly pet/house sit for friends and family. Richelle was great, living in while we were away for 4 weeks. She was extremely attentive to our needy 15-yr old torbie, Ashanti, ensuring she got lots of supervised backyard time while we were away. This included keeping a watch out for raccoons, a potential hazard. She went so far as to remove the dead blooms on all of my rose bushes and the one tree lily that flowered just before we left. She kept us apprised of any perceived issues; Ashanti *plucks* when stressed, and occasionally *spots*. The house was neat and tidy when we returned.
