I’ve had dogs and cats around me since I was a kid, and I’ve owned my own dogs since 2020. I’ve taken positive reinforcement puppy training courses as well as reactivity specific lessons, so I’m comfortable reading early warning signs in anxious or reactive dogs and know how to de-escalate rather than just react. I’m also experienced handling big, strong dogs confidently and safely on leash. Before having my own, I dog sat regularly for friends, so I’ve got a solid range of temperaments and routines under my belt.

While house sitting, I treat your home like a guest would; respecting your space, sticking to your pet’s normal routine, and keeping things exactly as I found them. For drop-ins and walks, I’m attentive to leash safety, comfortable handling multiple pets, and quick to notice if something seems off with appetite, energy, or behavior. I’m also comfortable with reptile care basics like enclosure checks and feeding schedules, if that’s ever relevant

Trishia is amazing with our older reactive and anxious extra large breed dog. He connected with her right away and is very happy and relaxed when she walks him or stays with him when we’re away. She is always on time, prepared, and even brings him his favourite treats! Trishia maintains his daily medication routine, applies his custom brace, and provides stimulating activities suitable for his age/physical abilities. Regular updates are provided, our home is kept tidy and I know our boy is safe! Trishia has exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the personalized care and attention she gives our boy. We highly recommend Trishia for trustworthy, personal, reliable and professional pet care.

I work from home running my own business, which means I’m around during the day most weekdays and have flexible availability for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I can work around specific feeding or walk times rather than squeezing visits into a rigid window.
