I volunteered with cats with the SPCA for a year, socializing and cuddling their cats ♡ I'm also a go to cat sitter for a friend of mine. In addition, I was the go to dog walker for my old job's shop dog whenever his mother wasn't able to take him. That's how I got started dog sitting for him. Since he was an elderly pit bull mix he needed a walker that knew when to head back home so his joints wouldn't bother him for the rest of the day. He also needed someone that could keep him and other dogs safe while out on a walk since he was a rescue from Mexico that could become reactionary to other dogs. He was an avid people lover though and being a pit bull mix, just needed someone that could reassure others that his barking was from excitement to meet new people. His size could be intimidating so he just needed an advocate for him to let other know that he was friendly and eager to greet them.

I'm available for walks and since I love walking I'm more then happy to take an energetic dog out to help tire them out. I'm also available for multiple visits in a day as well as sleep over care with hourly hangout sessions for your fur baby. I'm accustomed to accommodating pets with special diet requirements. I'm also more then happy to provide updates and share any pictures I've taken of your fur baby ♡

Richelle was great, living in while we were away for 4 weeks. She was extremely attentive to our needy 15-yr old torbie, Ashanti, ensuring she got lots of supervised backyard time while we were away. This included keeping a watch out for raccoons, a potential hazard. She went so far as to remove the dead blooms on all of my rose bushes and the one tree lily that flowered just before we left. She kept us apprised of any perceived issues; Ashanti *plucks* when stressed, and occasionally *spots*. The house was neat and tidy when we returned. I highly recommend Richelle and hope she's available the next time my brother and I go on holiday.
Richelle always does such a great job. She did a stop in visit today for my cat and played with her and gave her lots of attention. She always follows instructions and is great at communication and sending the cutest pictures. Highly recommend, thank you! Very happy customer. Jenn and Lilly
Richelle did great with my sensitive dog! Peaches warmed up to her quickly and she came back from her walk happy and ready for a nap. Looking forward to the next walk!
Richelle is such a thoughtful and respectful carer for my reactive dog! I always feel safe knowing Billie is well taken care of with Richelle. She provides lots of feedback and updates, with many photos and notes!
We loved all the photos of our kitties and reading what they’d been up to while we were away! Richelle really cares and was able to get even our shy kitty to come out and play with her. We look forward to having Richelle look after our pets again!

Schedule
I currently have a part time position that leaves me free in the mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I try to walk 7,000 steps in a day. So I'm free for lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. I can provide pet sitting in Langford as well, however due to the daily commute I will need to update the price by adding on an additional $10/day.
