I volunteered with cats with the SPCA for a year, socializing and cuddling their cats ♡ I'm also a go to cat sitter for a friend of mine. In addition, I was the go to dog walker for my old job's shop dog whenever his mother wasn't able to take him. That's how I got started dog sitting for him. Since he was an elderly pit bull mix he needed a walker that knew when to head back home so his joints wouldn't bother him for the rest of the day. He also needed someone that could keep him and other dogs safe while out on a walk since he was a rescue from Mexico that could become reactionary to other dogs. He was an avid people lover though and being a pit bull mix, just needed someone that could reassure others that his barking was from excitement to meet new people. His size could be intimidating so he just needed an advocate for him to let other know that he was friendly and eager to greet them.

I'm available for walks and since I love walking I'm more then happy to take an energetic dog out to help tire them out. I'm also available for multiple visits in a day as well as sleep over care with hourly hangout sessions for your fur baby. I'm accustomed to accommodating pets with special diet requirements. I'm also more then happy to provide updates and share any pictures I've taken of your fur baby ♡

We loved all the photos of our kitties and reading what they’d been up to while we were away! Richelle really cares and was able to get even our shy kitty to come out and play with her. We look forward to having Richelle look after our pets again!

Richelle is an incredible dog & housesitter! She knew exactly how to interact with my reactive German Shepherd, Brandy. She provided valuable information for me to use going forward to help make Brandy’s (& my) future together brighter. Richelle provided the most detailed updates and tons of pictures which allowed me to know how things were going and also to know that Richelle was handling Brandy’s behavioural challenges with expertise. She also made sure my place was as I left it (or even cleaner) when I was away. There wasn’t a hair left on the floor from my German Shedder’! I VERY HIGHLY recommend Richelle for your pet sitting needs!
Richelle was a terrific cat-sitter for our cat Chester. He has a few issues and not the easiest food to prepare and Richelle did everything we asked and more. She was professional and friendly and made sure to give us detailed notes on her visits, how Chester was feeling/doing, etc. Would heartily recommend Richelle anytime and will certainly ask her to come back if she's available in the future! Schedule
I currently have a part time position that leaves me free in the mornings, evenings, and most weekends. I try to walk 7,000 steps in a day. So I'm free for lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. I can provide pet sitting in Langford as well, however due to the daily commute I will need to update the price by adding on an additional $10/day.
