About: I grew up with dogs in my family which has formed my love of pets. For the past several years, my family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to look after their dogs and cats while they are away. This ranges from a small pug, to a medium sized mixed breed dog. I have also looked after cats from kittens to older cats. I live in the Fairfield area and I have a 4 year old sweetheart golden retriever myself. My golden keeps me active going to parks and beaches in the Fairfield area so my preference is for pet sitting in this area as I am very familiar with good walking routes. I'm currently going to school part time so my schedule is pretty flexible to care for your furry family member! I am available most mornings and anytime after 4pm. About: I grew up with at minimum 4 dogs at all times, ranging from Border collies, to Shepard mixes, to Jack Russell and fox terriers. I learned from a young age the best way to train dogs specific to their breeds and personalities and I have lots of experience caring for pups from the day they were born into old age. I understand the importance of exercise, routine and play for our furry friends. I say I have 7 years of experience caring for pets, but really it is 30+ years at this point, the 7 years comes from a boom in friends getting dogs and the beginning of me taking care of their pets when they go on vacation, have family/medical emergencies etc. I live less than a block from a park that is off-leash-optional (the park has a cute communal dog toy box also) and I live in a quiet neighbourhood where I can stroll with your pup on-leash for exercise if that is preferred. I also carry my own pups to designated off leash areas where they can run forest trails with me, or just hike around. Depending on your pups needs and what you and I discuss, play/exercise time for your pup may involve all three. My home has a fenced in back yard which is great for toilet breaks and serves as a play area also, if your pup is so inclined :) I have two pups of my own, a Border Collie and a Wire Haired Griffon, both friendly gals, the Border Collie is becoming a senior gal and generally pays no attention to other dogs past an introductory sniff, the Griffon is 4 years old and loves to play if your pup is willing, if not, no issues, she is not forceful in anyway. I can say with confidence that your pups will be in safe hands,well taken care of and loved while I am looking after them. I work a flexible schedule from my home office. My doggy caring day typically starts with at least a 30 - 40 min neighbour hood walk before 8:00 am. Backyard toilet and exercise breaks around 10:00. 30 - 40 min neighbourhood/park lunch walk around noon. More toilet/stretch the legs breaks around 2:00. Off-leash Forest walk around 4:30/5:00 (Or on-leash depending on the pup, and if a forest walk doesn't suit, then more time in the beautiful neighbourhood often heading to a larger fenced in municipal park about 10 mins walk away) Obviously, meals are given as per your pups schedule and lots of treats throughout the day (unless you tell me not to) I have a fully fenced in back yard, with two friendly pups for company for your pup. The house itself is very dog friendly, pups are allowed onto the couch, but not the beds or other furniture. There are many dog beds in various rooms for pooches to sleep in as they wish. When walking/exercising your dog, I will only walk your dog on-leash in the neighborhood and in any area that is not well fenced in. If your dog is reactive, timid, has any health concerns we can discuss and I will be sure to adjust my routine around those needs. I will do exactly what you ask of me when it comes to feeding, play, keeping your pup on-leash, treats etc. Should the unlikely happen and I need to bring your dog to a vet unexpectedly, I will have your contact details, your vets contact details and I live within 5 mins drive of the emergency vet hospital. Your pup will be well looked after.

“SHES ABSOLUTELY AWESOME Promoptly replied back to my dog walking cry for help. Was able to bust a wheel in her whip down to my crib. She kicked in my door stole my dog and she said to me " run run as fast as you can fat man, you won't catch me cuz I'm the ginger bread man. And then she grabbed my dog by the tail with her huge super hero hands jumped off my patio head first. Then in an hour after the door was repaired and back on the hinges she kicked my door back in. She threw my dog across my living room then jumped off the patio head first again. My dog is happier then two pigs in.........shut the front door.”

About: I am a caring and loving pet sitter that is more than happy to adjust to the needs of your pet! I am very comfortable with both large and small breeds. I have trained many of my own large-breed dogs, including rescue pit bulls, and therefore have a calm temperament that animals enjoy. I am comfortable administering medicine to special needs pets and going for long walks with higher-energy breeds as well. I have owned many dogs and cats in my lifetime, including certain special need breeds like French bulldogs and pugs. I am well-aware of the digestive issues that some designer breeds have and how to prevent issues. Anyone that knows me, knows I have a passion for all furry friends - big or small! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends to care for your pet, but I am off from work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4pm and am happy to make drop-in visits on those days as well. I live in beautiful Victoria, BC and enjoy taking your pup for seaside walks, socialization can be provided at dog parks and I genuinely enjoy your dogs company!
About: I have been a huge dog lover since I was very young and have always had a dog of my own until recently when my dog passed away at 17 years of age . I truly miss the companionship and would be thrilled to help you care for your fur baby when you are unable to ! I currently work from home most days of the week and live beside the gorgeous gorge park . I an active and looking to get out for some lovely walks with any type of dog , leisure walks , runs , hikes or swims ! I have a calm and relaxing home with a cat who adores other dogs , I can easily keep them separated if I need to. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. A former owner of a golden retriever, I have been counted on to look after friends, family and coworkers dogs for a number of years. I have downloaded Rover to get the chance to meet new friends (dogs and people) since moving to Victoria from Ottawa this fall. While I am job searching for a permanent gig, let me take your dog out on some adventures so they can show me around. Also happy to be a chill at home if they prefer as well. I’m currently job searching for full time work in Victoria since moving from Ottawa. In the meantime, I’ll have free time to watch your dog. Explore or chill at home, up to them (and you)!
