About: Lover of all animals. Throughout my life, I’ve owned and helped care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, rodents, and even reptiles! I grew up with dogs, have dog sat for family and friends throughout my teens, and have provided casual care for friends’ dogs in my adult life. Though I haven’t had the space for a dog of my own yet, I hope to adopt someday. In the meantime, I figured pet sitting would be the next best thing! As for cats, I have cared for my own the past 9 years. I love cats just as much as dogs while understanding the behavioural differences between the two. I live in the West Shore, but commute downtown a couple of times a week for work, allowing me flexibility for drop ins and walks whether you’re in the West Shore yourself or downtown. On the weekends, my availability is very flexible and I am typically able to provide even full time care on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I currently live with and co-trained a high energy German Shepherd/Malinois cross, so I'm very comfortable with daily exercise routines and handled her recovery after major knee surgery. I've taken on the sole care of a senior cat whose owner had to unexpectedlyleave the province for a year, I frequently sit for my relatives' cats, and have stepped in to care for a neighbour's Chihuahua when they had a medical emergency. About: Ever since I was 5 we have had a dog or three in the house. I have learned from a young age how to care for, love, and properly discipline dogs to assure that they know they are loved and yet display the best behaviour possible! All while keeping them happy and healthy. I am a business owner and over the past year I have been able to step away from the front lines and do management. Willow is exceptional. We couldn't have asked for better! This was the first time we'd left our dog Delta for more than a few days, and two weeks away is hard on everyone. Willow made it easy. She sent lots of pictures and videos every day and checked in with us regularly, so we never had to wonder how things were going. Delta was so well cared for and now absolutely loves her. Willow stayed at our home for the full two weeks and looked after it as carefully as she looked after Delta. We came back to a house that was spotless. She even brought in the mail, watered the plants, and kept up the maintenance on the hot tub. We can't say enough good things about Willow. She's reliable, communicative, and caring, and we'll happily be calling on her again.
We were looking for the right person to care for our aging dog and we found the perfect person in Annastasia! Our girl is usually a bit put off with us when we leave her behind but we came home to a perfectly relaxed pup who didn't make any demands of us. Clearly our dog was happy with the care, the walks, the treats and the treatment she received with Annastasia, who sent us pictures and updated us daily. This was our dog's first time staying with Annastasia in our home. We have already booked her again and we will leave without a worry. In addition, Annastasia was a more than perfect house guest, tidying up after a long haired dog that continually brings in various bits of garden materials.
