Megan can care for
Availability
My schedule is extremely flexible and I can make myself available at anytime needed to provide care for your pets. A typical day with my dog consists morning potty, breakfast, long walk, indoor mental play time, supper, outside potty and more play time. It’s not uncommon to go for off-leash walks in a park. Another activity we enjoy is mental enrichment - either a mind game with treats or frozen kong.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a condo in Westhills. There are many parks and trails nearby. I also have a SUV I use to take the dogs on adventures to the beach, hikes, etc. As for care in your home; I like to maintain whatever schedule you have!
Information Megan R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dogs have any preferences or quirks so I can provide the best possible care! Any allergies are important to note too! Important to tell me: any dog reactivity, people reactivity, off-leash trained or on-leash walks only, favourite games to play, etc. The most information about your pup you can give me will help me provide the best care for your dog and ensure they have the best time possible!
A typical day
I believe the key to a happy dog is a physically and mentally enriched dog. To achieve this we typically go for long off-leash walks in the park with lots of fetch or sniff-walls in the neighbour hood. For mental enrichment I have a variety of stimulating games that last 5-15 minutes and leave the pups very tired afterward.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up with 3 indoor cats and caring for my grandparents German Shepherds. I fostered many dogs and cats with my roommates in University, and worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2+ years. I’ve rescued a senior dog from the SPCA (who since passed) and now have a 3.5yr Rottweiler.
Cat care experience

Megan also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Megan loves animals. She has fostered quite a few dogs and cares for them like they’re family. Their health, happiness and safety is her first priority. Megan can handle dogs of all sizes. Megan grew up with 3 cats in the home and knows how to care for them and how to keep them safe (one of them, would chew things she’s not supposed to). Megan’s love of animals is evident when you see her with them and the animals seem to adore her in return.
