Growing up on a farm, I developed a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds. I've lived with cats my entire life, and my extended family always had dogs—so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for both. Whether it was feeding, bathing, or taking dogs on long walks during family gatherings, I’ve always been the go-to pet helper. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to keeping pets happy and healthy. I monitor water bowls daily, provide fresh water, and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise—whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a long hike to leave them happily tuckered out.

In my own space, we have a balcony that my cat loves going outside on. While Bean does not have any harness training, I did put up garden fence edging to block her in so she cannot stick herself under the balcony. When she goes outside, I also go outside to ensure no funny business happens. My cat back home in Ontario with my parents (who is in my photo) was harness trained as we got her at 10 weeks. Gucci was harness trained as she was so small and wanted to always come outside, she wore a snag-free collar with a bell because she was so quiet. When she did come outside, we literally put a stake in the ground and put her leash around it so she could only go in a circle. as she got older we let her explore with us outside until we trusted her without the harness. Now that she's old, she just comes outside and lays in the sun but always has someone there to watch her as she still is a cat and has a love of thinking the grass is greener everywhere else.

We had Alyssa come stay last minute for a trip, as our original pet care fell through. Alyssa was so lovely with our cat and bearded dragon, and had great communication throughout our time away. We felt like we could trust her right away, and came home to happy animals! She left our home clean and our yard was cared for. Thank you Alyssa!
This is our second time using Alyssa to watch Shadow and she was simply amazing every time. She has great communication, is flexible, and takes amazing care of our pup. We trust her immensely in our home and with our fur baby - highly recommend!
This was the third time we’ve had Alyssa care for our cats, and I can confidently say she is 100% recommended! We came home to a clean house and happy, well-cared-for kitties. She went above and beyond and even baked us fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful surprise. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos throughout our trip. They gave me peace of mind and helped me know that my cats were doing well and were in great hands. Reliable, caring, and attentive—I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!

I have been using Alyssa for months now and I cannot recommend her enough. She has been absolutely fantastic with my pup. She’s reliable, caring and very attentive. Her communication is excellent and she provides lots of photos and updates. She’s been very flexible and accommodation on scheduling. I know my dog lights up when she arrives. Her genuine love for animals is very obvious. One evening I was unable to answer my phone at work to let her into my building and after waiting for a while she left but came back at a later time to make sure he still got out. She definitely goes above and beyond. You’d be hard to find better!
10000% recommend Alyssa! She was punctual, fantastic at communicating/updating, and on overall great human. Our 9 month shepherd husky is a large puppy and she handled him with complete ease and confidence. We were so happy with his thorough care and can't wait to book Alyssa again soon. Our dog loves her!

Programa
I work a hybrid 8-4 schedule, so days I WFH can be worked in your space (if wanted) or I can come by on lunch breaks and after work. I am free after 5pm on days in office. On Friday's after 5pm and open all day on weekends and am more than welcome to staying to play and take outside
